The cabin we stayed in was beautiful and new with a dishwasher. The kids really enjoyed the closed in pool particularly as it was very cold outside.

The view is amazing and is just few minutes walking to the blue lake. Highly recommended. The only cons is the check out at 10am. As per many other places around, an 11am check out would be more attractive and less rush to leave the site

The playground with bouncing pillow is wonderful for kids.

We loved the cosy atmosphere of our cottage and it had everything that we needed. The bed was very comfy.

Great location, close to all the great sites in Mount Gambier

The children’s amenities. New cabins were fantastic. Room to kick a ball around. Location to lakes. Quiet.

Location is extremely good and really close to the blue lake. Weather is cooling and nice. However there was a little construction going on nearby and had some sounds early in the morning. Rather than that, pretty good place!

Lovely location, right next to the Blue Lake

Mt Gambier is a reasonable sized town so there is a lot to see and do. We loved the location and views of the surrounding areas around the park. BBQs in the kitchen which was spotless. We were lucky enough to have a beautiful sunny day to see the blue lake, gardens and countryside around the area.

There was a smell that wasn't that pleasant but was able to go away when we sprayed the rooms. Pillows not that comfortable, but the views and location was very good. WIFI was terrible and hardly worked.

Unit was very clean & modernised. Bed too soft for us & shower was like fine sharp needles, not pleasant.

Quick night stop over from our Great ocean road drive. Perfect for what we needed, very pretty, the kids loved the play ground.

we stayed two nights. Location is quite for sleeping however a short drive to main centre of town. Modern facilities, friendly staff, everything was well maintained. Short walk to blue lake. Tennis court, swimming pool, jumping pillow so would be great for kids.

Relaxing ambient, privacy, beautiful nature just outside the door!

This caravan park is in a great location. We stayed in a very clean cabin. The check-in process was easy.

The unit was nice and recommended for family.

The cabin was ok but upon entry a very strong curry smell. Considering the cleaner was in the cabin moments before, not good enough.Still empty chip packets left in bedroom.Shower head fell off during a shower and the thread was damaged and only pushed on.Empty beer bottles in garden around cabin. For the cost of over $270 it should have been much better.

Had a great time at Big 4 Mount Gambier. Location is great for Blue Lake and adjoining Valley Lake. Bungalow was nice and clean. Pool was a bit chilly!

This was the nicest cabin that we have found in our 24. Trips to Australia. Only complaint is that Internet would not work

Good experience but pool is quite small and the water is freezing for the little ones. Could do with a good heating system

This review is somewhat coloured by my previous stay at this park in the beautiful new houses up on the hill. The cottage appears to be built in the 50s/60s, it is in a row of 3. The cottage floor plan is a studio set up, with the kitchen, eating, lounge and bedroom all in the one space. The room also had a wood burning stove, there is no air conditioning, however there was a ceiling fan. There are little signs in the room that ask you to wash your own dishes, tidy up and remove rubbish upon departure. Personally these kinds of requests tend to cause a bit of an abrupt end to the holiday mode for me, however it is understandable why they do it but the enforcement by threats of an unspecified dollar value cleaning fee gets my back up. After all I am your guest, not your pseudo employee. Thats just my gripe but it is my review. The kids jumping thingy is close by and you will hear kids being kids. If you dont want to hear a thing this is not the spot for you. See if you can stay in one of the newer homes or a cabin away from the action. In summary not bad but could do with some basic creature comforts updated, air conditioning for one, new mattress. Its basic accomodation but I think a little pricey, but that seems to be an Australia wide problem.

This place is in an excellent location with friendly helpful staff, however in my opinion, is quite overpriced for the facilities that it offers and the facilities are minimal and very dated.

We only stayed for one night. We arrive very late after driving all day and left fairly early the next day so didnt get to see the whole park, but the cabin/unit was clean and tidy and generally quite nice. Nothing amazing but suited our needs.

Only stayed one night, traveling through. Advertised free Internet, but was free for a very low amount and only one device could be used at a time, plus signsWas less than poor. Had to purchase more internet usage and walk all over the place to get service. This was not helpful for us, as we had some future days renting that needed to be booked. Two bedrooms very small

The floor of the bath/toilet was quite grubby and the fluorescent light above the door attracted a multitude of small beetles which the screen door was incapable of excluding. We scrunched beetles underfoot all evening. The room provided all facilities for cooking and relaxation.
