Very nice place to stay. Rustic rooms but on the beach and very quiet

Ugh. I absolutely hate writing bad reviews especially when people are so friendly however, I feel like people should be aware. The manager was so sweet and kind and helpful so if there’s any upside to this, let it be that,
When we booked this, we knew we wouldn’t be at a 5 star all-inclusive resort. Based on the photos, we knew it would be a bit older and out dated, but we were very shocked upon arrival. You have to carry your luggage through sand just to get to the extremely steep/wide steps and that were not easy to get up. Once getting in the room, you realize it is a shared balcony with other guests… which is fine. Walking inside, there were two huge doors directly in front of a queen sized bed… Sittin in a 10x10 room. We had no where to put 1 let alone two suit cases…
Following, there were huge cracks in the floor, insect repellent (for the room) on the shelf, the floors were soaking wet and the A/C was not working. Not to mention, the lighting in there showed ever speck of dust and dirt all over the place. WiFi did not work, and coffee machine was dirty.
I feel horrible writing this, but we ended up having to book and spend an additional $1000 for our trip because we simply could not stay there.
Again, we knew we were getting old, but we didn’t know we were getting what we got.

Absolutely perfect just like Aruba

Awsome place to stay nice and quite super relaxing. Staff was awsome. Free kayak and snorkling gearg

This was an excellent property. We were a walk from Zeerovers which is a must eat restaurant on the island. Next door to an upscale restaurant. Private beach and kayaks available. The only downside is the property is very outdated. The stove and fridge were rusty. A little updating and this could be a four to five star stay!

Super nice and quiet place, small private beach and dock. Clean room and very friendly hosts

We had a wonderful stay and look forward to a future trip!

We LOVED our stay at Coral Reef Beach resort.
Quiet. Beach area. Picnic area. Plenty of Lounge chairs and there is snorkel equipment, chairs, coolers to borrow for day excursions which was super helpful as we toured around town with our rental car at the beaches.
Access to community kitchen was so nice too.
Comfortable bed. AC. Perfect stay! Thank you

There is NOTHING around the property for dinning, lunch, or breakfast. There’s only Flying Fish Bone, which is good but it’s very expensive and it’s not for your daily going out, but rather for special dinners. The other place on the other side is even more expensive. The place has like 4 different WiFi connections and they all not work well or are very weak. The only one that works well is the 5G one. The apartment smelled like mold and there were small cockroaches in the bathroom and kitchen. I would say that it was VERY expensive for what it offers. Public transport is far and taxis to Oranjestad are 33-35 dollars each way. The workers are very nice and the place is quaint but for the price we paid, I don’t think we’ll be staying here again, I’ll stay at Eagle Beach next time like I did my first time in Aruba; similar prices for a much better area.

Good enough. Would book there again. 20 to 30 minutes drive from downtown. Great local spots (restaurants, beaches, and shots) Roach nearby. Perfect for an authentic experience.

We just got back from staying at Coral Reef! A little slice of paradise away from the chaos and noise of palm beach. We stayed in room 10 it was private& we loved it. Being able to open up the doors seeing a breath taking view with the fresh air and sound of ocean in our room priceless. Jenny was very kind called us cabs& greeted us when we arrived. It is far from everything so either rent a car or make sure you get some food to cook in the kitchen they have for everyone to use. The property looks exactly like the photos. Loved laying in the hammock & basically having the property to ourselves. We will definitely be back thanks Jenny&Erik! & the staff!

Excellent little hidden gem. Restaurant is great. Noise not an issue at all in my place if you are awake until 10. Beautiful view, great vibe and perfect if Baby Beach and that side of the island is your thing.

I cannot tell you how relaxing of a vacation we had at Coral Reef Beach. From Check in to check out the staff were so warm and welcoming. We had a rental car and traveled around the island with ease. I would highly recommend a stay at Coral reef. Also they had kayaks to use, beach chairs, coolers, a great little shared kitchen area. We will stay again in the future!!!

Unique small apartment complex with small beach. Away from the high rise hotels but only 15 minutes to downtown. Next door to a great fish restaurant. Great staff.

Nice for a long weekend get away. Bonus is the restaurant next to the hotel, had the best seafood! And very nice servers!

This little gem of a place is about 10-20 minutes by car to the main towns of Aruba. It’s a sleepy little fishing village and the hotel has beach access with free use of kayaks and snorkel gear. There’s a communal kitchen while each room has a small fridge. Most of the restaurants nearby are a little pricy but you can find a few that are reasonable. The owners of the place are very approachable and helpful. The rooms are comfortable with efficient A/C. Can’t be beat for the price!

Very relaxing stay. The room and balcony had an awesome view of the Caribbean. The community kitchen was handy. Friendly staff and lots of water equipment for guests to use such as kayaks, snorkels, water shoes, etc. Will definitely return!

The only issue was getting a taxi.

Great small resort located on quieter side of island, with only nine apartments.
Rooms are clean but simple, with refrigerator and coffee maker.
The property is right on the water. Plenty of lounge chairs, which are available to free for guests to use: snorkel equipment, kayaks, and floats.
There is also a full community kitchen, gas grill, and outdoor dining room.
Staff is welcoming and keep the property clean, and well maintained.
A great little oasis!

Relaxing Island Atmosphere. If you like fancy high end resorts, go elsewhere. If you want sand in your toes, community style accommodations, water for snorkeling, kayaking, or swimming, then stay here. This is a small island styled resort that is so relaxed. Two excellent restaurants within short walking distance. Abundance of supermarkets close by, some are walkable. The location is more local community then resort community, which is my preference. The staff were incredibly nice and greeted me upon arrival. The rooms were clean and island styled. Water views from most rooms. A/C worked great when needed, but I usually had my balcony double doors open to feel the island breeze. Other guests were very friendly and sharing. I would definitely stay here again and start off each day sitting on the dock of the bay. Beautiful blue lights in the water made the dock a perfect place to relax at night.

Our 2nd visit to CRBA this year. Such a wonderful, relaxing, carefree paradise. It's not for everyone - spotty wifi; no hot water (not necessary); well south of the popular beach resorts; and, the rooms are a bit small. It defines Bohemian getaway. CRBA is charming for what it has, not for what it doesn't have. An excellent staff, magnificent sunsets, adjacent to two of the finest restaurants on Aruba, and an unmatched waterview a few barefoot steps away.

This was my first time to Aruba and I can honestly say I made a great choice. My room was squeaky clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Waking up to the waterfront each morning was my favorite part of the day. There is a safe to store your valuables, clean bedding, great AC, no bugs. My first night on the island I had a reservation for the flying fishbone and watched the sunset while having dinner. The showers were also refreshing after a hot day, I’d say they’re almost warm not freezing cold so don’t worry about the water. The communal kitchen was really convenient to heat up leftovers and the mini fridge in the room was convenient as well. After a long day it was nice to watch Netflix at night in the room. Zeerovers (which I think has some of the freshest seafood on the island) is only a few blocks down. If you do stay here you will need a rental car or take taxis to get to Eagle and Palm beach. There’s some great snorkeling on Baby Beach and the food at the beach bar there is great. I rented a car which gave me a lot of freedom to explore the island. In savaneta I felt safe and locals were friendly and a lot of them spoke English. I highly recommend coral reef if you’re looking for a quiet getaway but definitely rent a car.

Coral Reef Beach Aruba was the most wonderful thing I experienced in Savaneta. My fiancee and I enjoyed the peace and quiet, the ambiance, the service everything about it was truly amazing. We were welcome with Grace and Superior hospitality and felt right at home. We highly recommend staying here if you want something that's away from the tourist side of the island with more privacy and I can't forget it being a neighbor to the absolute best restaurant in the entire island The Flying Fishbone! We will definitely be returning soon thanks so much for having us!

I loved it here! An amazing trip and being right next to the flying fish couldn’t be beat

Amazing place to stay, great amenities, Flying Fishbone next door is a great restaurant. Great location in a quiet area. Close to some great beaches. Hosts are amazing!

If you are interested in a place to stay away from the loud noises, over crowed beaches and great restaurants, than this is the place. You have your own small private beach with access to kayaks, snorkel gear and more. There is a small shaded cove where you can sit with your feet in the water and listen to the waves and when you’re ready you can go for a swim. I was celebrating my anniversary and arranged with the staff to have flowers, Processco, and a Charcuterie platter in my room when we arrived. My flight was delayed 2 hours but when we stepped in the room there were rose petals on the bed and the Processco was in a bucket with ice and the Charcuterie board was in the mini fridge. My wife cooked in the shared kitchen a few nights and we went out to dinner a few nights. We loved our stay. There is no seaweed or fighting for beach chairs. There is a nice size deck (Jetty) with chairs and loungers which I sat at every morning to listen to the wave and look at the fish. There are no beach umbrellas and it does get hot. Overall our stay was great. Erik and Jenny the managers were always available wether I was emailing before my trip or when I was there to answer questions. Graciella keeps the rooms clean and Victor makes sure the property is kept up. There is a Supermarket close by. A 15 minute walk and they sell alcohol. :)

I stayed for a lovely 3 days and was extremely pleased with the location, facilities and staff. The manager is very attentive and welcoming. My room was comfortable with a gorgeous view. The ocean is right outside your door. My favorite thing to do was to sit under the tree near the shore in one of the beach chairs and just let the warm water wash over me. There’s some really cool seafood restaurants nearby where you sit on the water. I felt completely safe as a solo female traveler and hope to return again someday soon!

The property is out of the high rise area so you really feel like you are alone on the beach. The owners are amazing and provide kayaks and snorkeling gear for use on the property. The kitchen made it so we did not have to venture out if we didn’t want to. We cooked most meals in the apartment. We loved this property and will hopefully return soon!

The property was amazing. A little misrepresented with the size, but we made due. We fished every day from the house. Very peaceful, and the community pool was fantastic. I will rent again.

This place was perfect, convenient, comfortable, clean, quiet, and the staff was very nice, courteous, friendly, and delightful. It's a great place to relax and enjoy nature in Aruba. It's close to everything as Aruba is a small island. My wife and I loved this place, it's right on the water, and we would definitely return and recommend it to friends and family.

The property was quiet. We used the kayaks to kayak to sea glass island directly across from the accommodation. They also have some snorkeling gear and floaters to borrow. The beach area here is small and rocky. In the evening, the restaurant next door is always full, but not loud-it wasn’t bothersome. We took the kayaks out and watched the sunset from the dock on sea glass island, or from the kayak itself on the water. Grace (housekeeper) made our beds every day and restocked towels. I inquired about laundry-she said $5 to wash and $5 to dry-she washed, dried, and folded all our clothes and had them sitting in a laundry basket on the coffee table. It was so nice to have everything cleaned and ready to be put in a suitcase on our last day.

If you’re ready to get away from the “all-inclusive” experience, this place is for you. The place was basically ours. A taste of the local life. Beautiful views. Magnificent sunsets.

The snorkeling is surprisingly good off the small beach area, with many turtles in the area. The kayaks available to guests are also a great option. We really enjoyed our stay.

Our stay was absolutely incredible. My wife and I enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Coral Reef Apartments. The host Jenny was perfect in every way possible. We will more then likely be staying there when we decide to visit that beautiful island in the future.
