Fabulous hotel with pool, frequent sightings of toucans and hummingbirds, huge grounds to explore with Mimi the dog, well signposted so we didn’t get lost.We really enjoyed the white water rafting (glad I was persuaded to do it by Udo the owner). Excellent hike to the El Bujuco waterfall. Food and cocktails were amazing and we enjoyed the entertainment provided by Tunco the dog. Owners are very friendly and helpful.

I like everything. The structure and design of the property is a must see. The service was amazing. Friendly and accommodating! Greatly place.

This is one of the most beautiful lodges I’ve had the pleasure of staying at.
The remote location is not for everyone but the lush landscape and delicious food will certainly win you over. The thoughtful care, aesthetic, functionality, comfort, and sustainability practices that the lodge exemplifies is truly incredible.
It is certainly eco friendly and the design prices are both functional and beautiful while reducing the impact on our planet (air flow, wood chosen, natural pool, food available, etc).
I enjoyed the free breakfast and all the food I ate was fresh and tasty. The room, despite not having A/C, was very comfortable in July weather. The whole facility was always very clean. Additionally, the owners are very communicative as are all the staff.
I enjoyed Omega Eco Lodge very much!

This is a beautiful lodge in the middle of the jungle. A bit of a rough road to get there but absolutely worth it! The hosts are a wonderful, friendly German couple who have been here for almost 30 years. Their staff is friendly and kind. We did a white water rafting trip with Victor and I highly recommend if you have time!

The property is beautiful and lush. There is a great variety of flora and fauna to view around the property. The architecture and design was uniquely and thoughtfully implemented and the elements blended well with the natural environment. The restaurant provided a good variety of locally sourced, well-prepared food. We thoroughly enjoyed our time.

Omega Jungle Lodge is outstanding in every way possible! We highly recommend it to anyone who would like an immersive stay in the jungle while still having all the modern amenities!
They have huge rooms, gorgeous views from room & balcony, quiet/peaceful 24/7, delicious German & local cuisine, great cocktails at bar, lovely pool & restaurant area with lots of seating options, 3 excellent challenging hiking trails with lots of birds/nature, very knowledgeable/educated/helpful and accommodating staff.
A great place to stay all round.
Wish they had list:
-mini fridge in room
-wifi in room & on balcony
-small table & chair in room
-chairs on balcony - not just 2 hammocks

The Eco lodge is wonderful. Every feature of the place has something unique and well thought through - the walls, the furniture, the pool, the gardens and walking trails. It was a sensory pleasure!
The food is excellent. The team that run the place are friendly, well trained and caring. The staff members are excellent.
Using the lodge as a base camo you can walk to the entrance of the national park for a great hike. You can do all sorts of adventures thru the lodge- the rafting and boulder jumping trip was very fun. The Cangrejal River is stunning and a short walk from the lodge - however you will need to sort out how to get down there - a must do.
I was travelling alone and the staff was great about setting up rides to and from the ferry and airport in La Cieba.
Your room choice will impact your ability to sleep in in the morning. My room was wonderful but open to all the morning happenings- I could watch the Toucan's from
my hammock on the back seating area!
I loved the place and would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here in February for several days and decided to end our trip on Utila early to come back because here we loved it so much.
The rooms are large and clean, and the beds are comfortable. Falling asleep to the sounds and darkness of the jungle is a very peaceful experience. We stayed in the Bamboo room and the Colibrí. My preference was the two story Bamboo room, since it felt like it was right in the jungle.
The food is exceptional, and the servers are great. Special shout out to José.
We did the rafting tours and hiking tour and had a great time. But you can relax here too and just do nothing.

Amazing and beautiful! I was in the Toucan Room, and true to its names there were so many toucans (and aracaris, etc.) that visited the tree right off my balcony - I could just sit there in the hammock and watch them! Also the hiking trails on the grounds were great, it's very close to the entrance of Pico Bonito park, and the facilities were super clean and extremely comfortable. The owners were also amazingly kind and helpful. As a solo traveler, I also found it easy to meet others in the shared spaces (particularly the restaurant). Highly recommended!

We loved our weekend stay here. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are clean and very cozy. It is right in the middle of the jungle with a stream right through the dining area. The food is amazing all made with fresh ingredients from local producers and their own garden. There are 3 trails on the property that lead you through the jungle. The tours they offer are amazing, with very friendly and knowledgeable local guides.
In short: it's a paradise

I stayed at this lodge for 2 days in September. I found the staff professional and kind. The restaurant was excellent and the surroundings beautiful. The lodge is small and the atmosphere intimate and I feel that the staff worked diligently to achieve their reputation for eco responsibility.
I wish I had more time there. If I have a chance to return I will probably splurge on a cabin.

The lodge is situated out of la Ceiba (taxi will charge around 20 USD from la Ceiba). Nice surroundings, a fee hiking trails around and other activies such a rafting available. Room was big and spotless clean. All the staff is friendly, helpful and welcoming. The lodge has its own restaurant. I tried a few different dishes and all of them were excellent! Prices are also very fair. Laundry available for a very decent price (charged per load unlike most hotels which will charge by item). I would definitely stay here again, if passing by La Ceiba. Defintely worth the trip from town

If you are adventurous and desire a safe and clean place to stay in the middle of the Honduran jungle in a well managed hotel, this is the place to go, 40 min from La Ceiba. The access to the hotel is along the Cangrejal river on a mostly bumpy gravel road, but once you arrive you are happy to have made the trip. The restaurant is great and the rafting tour is amazing. Wish could have stayed longer.

Omega tours was a memorable stay, the hospitality was amazing and the property itself was tranquil and peaceful. We went white water rafting and that was a fun and great experience. The food was delicious and healthy. They had a yoga platform , two hiking trails and a white water rafting tour. The room we stayed in was the Beauty room and it was large and spacious. The view of Pico Bonito was beautiful and I was able to see five Toucans from the top bedroom. Overall we had a great time and I would definitely return.

The Omega Lodge is the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. Myself and my 7 year-old son were there for three nights over Easter. Unfortunately, it rained nearly nonstop the entire weekend, so we didn't get to go on any of the tours (waterfall hike and rafting) we had wanted to do. Can't control the weather! We were plenty able to occupy our time reading, playing games, and getting to know the owners, Sylvia & Udo, and their wonderful staff. They have two super sweet Rottweilers and a resident cat that live at the lodge, and my son adored petting and playing with them. We even hiked along the river with the dogs! What an experience.I did yoga in the jungle with their instructor, Cheyenne, which was just awesome! I hadn't done yoga in forever, but she is a great instructor and the setting was just breathtaking. Kelvin at the bar and restaurant took great care of us, as did the other kitchen staff. The food was AMAZING. My son is a picky eater, like most kids his age, and I was a bit worried about what he would eat without kids menu options, but we never went hungry and felt there was plenty of variety even after three days. The food was so incredible, so fresh, and I'm still thinking about it! Also, I think the coffee was the best I've ever had.We stayed in the Beauty View cabin, and the name doesn't do it justice! You have to see it for yourself. Even though it rained constantly, the view was breathtaking. And falling asleep every night in an open-air cabin? Perfect.

This is an amazing place. We did the hikes and white water rafting which was out of this world! We had a couples massage and dined in the restaurant. Our final day we took part in the 8 am yoga with Cheyenne. She is a class act! Sylvia and Udo are great hosts and we will be back!

Very secluded within the jungle. No cell service, weak wifi that does on reach the rooms. Can only be used in the "common" areas. Didn't get in pool, looked a little suspect for me. The overall experience was the definition of unplugging from the world. Staff was very nice friendly and helpful. Food wasn't up to par and drinks were palatable. Excursions were PHENOMENAL!!!

Beautiful location, right in the middle of the rainforest. Amazing trees and wildlife. We stayed in the beauty view cabin and found it to be a great little oasis to hang out at for a few days. We didn’t do any of the tours but we did get a massage and it was excellent! They’re very eco friendly and all about doing things the natural way.
