Rooms are clean and comfortable. Lighting in the room is very dull and gloomy but otherwise ok. No AC. Family rooms are large with plenty of room. breakfast is decent. No luggage storage by the hotel but they have lockers that coins or credit cards. Conveniently located close to the train station. The area around the hostel is a bit shady but not too bad.

On the whole quite ok. The shower was okay. The bed comfortable. Too bad they don't offer parking, but guess their target is tourists without vehicles. Sometimes there seems to be hassle with their booking system (same in A&O Munich Laim) of the rooms. Got a key to a room that was already full. The reception gave me a new room and that problem was fixed. Just a bit strange.
3.8
The staff was extremely rude and showed disrespect to my parents who are senior citizens, they gave us our room 1.5 hours late and then threatened to cancel the room when we inquired the reasons
3.8
They have cleaning staff come in the room daily, walkable to grocery store, train/bus station. Gaining access to the laundry room was a tad annoying since people take away / forget to return the key card to front desk. Have cash ready for necessary deposit because the ATM they have on site has bad convertion rate/fee. No adjustable aircon, and it was bit hot sometime, you have to make deposit to get a fan.
Room door auto closed loudly, every day when a new guest came it when I was sleeping, they let the door closed itself and the slam was very loud. Hope they will fix it to soften the sound.

Definitely a good budget option when visiting Salzburg! The staff were SO lovely and checked me into my private room a couple hours early. It is a 15-20 min walk into the old town - I found the nicest walk in was along the river rather than walking past the station.
There were a lot of school parties on the night I stayed that did make a lot of noise in the corridors, however this did stop around 10:30-11pm and I can understand why it is a good option for school parties to stay here.
If you want to leave your bags here after check out there are large lockers, I think I paid around €5-6 euros for 12 hours

my stay was great, the location was good. staff was friendly.

Easy to check in and can check out late but you need to tell the reception first

I’ll be honest - we wouldn’t have chosen to stay but the marathon was on and the city was v busy. Our first hostel experience was good, staff were great - really friendly and helpful, breakfast was fine, the place was clean and bright with a real diverse mix of ages of guest ( we are 50s). Walking into town was easy and quick. Room was en suite and basic but fine- worst but was the waterproof mattress covers and pigeon noise from the courtyard.

Tried the fast check in on arrival but this didn’t work and had to go to desk to check in. This then took an age as staff also serve the bar and only one member of staff was on duty. Room was ground floor and quite noisy as it was at the end of a corridor nearest to the entrance area. Room was fine although we had been given the accessible room with walk in shower for some unknown reason. Was shocked to be woken up by loud drilling noises at 07:30!! Obviously some work taking place in the building. If I had to stay here again, I would avoid this room (43) due to its location.

This hotel is OK if you are traveling with a group of friends and are in your younger years. However, for a family of four (children between 8-11) it was a little loud at night, the walls seemed rather thin. Rooms were clean, bedlinen was clean and the bin was emptied daily. Staff at check-in were helpful and pleasent.
I know this isn't a big thing but, the colour scheme of the rooms and corridors was depressing. Three different shades of gray!

Breakfast was always running out of something. Very nousy hallways. No parking possible for luggage loafimg and unloading...

3 drunk koreans tried several times to enter our room in the middle of the night. when we told the black receptionist about that she said she would come to our room to solve the situation, but she lied, she never came!! rooms were dusty & dirty! there was construction work all around & even during the night! we hardly sleot & have not felt safe!!!

Close to trim station and a single stop to attractions in Salzburg

Impressed that this hostel runs fully on sustainable energy. Front staff were very warm and friendly despite how busy it was. Wifi quality was great and the lobby area included diverse amenities. Glad that the bathroom and toilets were separate which allowed 2 persons to be able to use simultaneously. Only thing I'd recommend as an improvement is an extractor vent fan for the toilet.

Very good!
3.8
Cleanliness of reception. Abscence of loitering at the reception and in front of hostel. Absence of smoking at the door of the hostel.
I liked thd fast check in and the politeness of receptionist.
Still cigarette smoke is smelled in reception.

The room have No air!!! If someone have heart problems they can be die of it. No airconditioner and No fan!!!. Room over 80 C. Finially they find a broken fan and ask for deposits!!!
It is Not should on the market for people to stay!!!Staffs tell different storys!! If i could i would give 0 star!!!

The hostel and the service are good, the breakfast is excellent. The room is bad conceived with lack of space and very narrow.
3.8
I felt really unsafe, the organizations was terrible, even though they change me of room (which I appreciate) I wouldn’t recommend it.
3.8
Very near the train station and the river! Room is very spacious for our family. The beds were comfortable and sheets were clean. The bathroom has towels, soap, and shower has good water pressure. All in all a good value hotel!
3.8
The evening front desk staff are very unwelcoming and should do better. I didn’t know I would share a room with men as well as women. As a solo woman traveler, that made me very uncomfortable. There wasn’t a towel provided either, that’san extra charge! Also (not the staff’s fault), the three men and one woman arrived back to the room at 3:44am and made no effort to be quiet. In the morning, they were glued to their devices and very unfriendly. Not a nice welcome to Austria but they were German. Very disappointing as most Germans are friendly.
3.8
It is mostly a hostel, but with some hotel style rooms too. So fairly basic. Breakfast was good. Location was near the train station, but on the opposite side as the main attractions in the city. Fine for 1 night.
3.8
Very convenient location, close to the main station, the facility is very nice and clean. Highly recommended.
3.8
It was convenient and relatively cheap

Convenient to train station in safe area. Clean room with good facilities including comfy beds, outlets everywhere and nice bathroom. Huge lobby with vending machines, sitting and work areas.
3.8
The staff is nice and the location is near to the station. Bathroom and bed are clean and nice. The point that might be a little disappointed is there is no socket in your bed, but still a recommended hostel!
3.8
Easy access from the main train station (walking distance).
Staff is friendly and helpful.
Very clean and good money for price.
Definitely a comeback place.
3.8
It was good but I don’t like
3.8
I didn’t know what to expect from this budget hotel, however I was pleasantly surprised.
The staff were welcoming and informative, the room was spacious, clean, warm, basic, yet comfortable.
Very close to everything
3.8
Very much noise from other guests during all hours. Location is excellent and price is low, but rooms feel like prison cells. It was a one-time staying at a&o
3.8
The room wasn't as clean as it should have been, there was a curtain missing and there were no glasses to drink from.
3.8
Close to the train station. Convenient area but not so nice, yet within walking distance to the historic centre.
The hostel is basic yet functional.
3.8
Spacious clean property with a three minute walk to the main station And about 25 minutes walk from the downtown
3.8
Nice room, very high ceilings, comfy beds
