Positives: - Really nice lady at the reception - Mattresses were comfy - Toilets always had toilet paper - Nice communal area - Good location - Working air conditioning Negatives: - Lots and lots of bugs - One of the beds was literally on the floor, which was an issue with all the bugs - Toilets and showers could have been a bit cleaner - No hand soap provided for the toilets

Bed was hard as a rock, room was advertised as including a shower but all it had was a washbasin. External showers had a 10 second time you had to push to get continuous water - to even change temperature from cold to hot or vice versa required Herculean strength and grip. External toilets had no santizer fluid in cannister nor had a sink to wash one's hand or a toilet wand to cleans one's affected areas. If you flush more than 3 times, no more flushes allowed. You can patrons in the hallway walking and talking so no privacy or peace of mind. Bedroom sink had no handsoap or wash towel. Towels all chargeable not included in price eventhough advertised as included.

It’s a budget hotel, so you must expect basic room, and I was happy with everything about it. It was close to the bus, the train, the supermarket, and the beach. Staff friendly and hard working. I would stay again!

I never leave reviews on places and I’m not picky at all when it comes to staying somewhere. However this place was beyond disgusting, and in a very unsafe area. The shared bathrooms are not clean and smell nasty, it’s basically an outhouse in a hallway. Also wifi and service does not work at all 👍

I was very appalled when I came to this hotel. I think it should be called a hostel rather than a hotel. It was in an area where I felt unsafe as well as the fact the floor that my room was in had a back door that remained opened to a fire escape allowing random people to come into the hotel from the street this made me feel very unsafe. On top of that the room I was given was filled with black mould stains on the bed sheets and pubic hair which made me believe it had not been properly cleaned before my arrival. When communicating this to staff I was offered that the room could be cleaned again, however I felt specific things could not be overlooked by cleaning the room again and so I had to find accommodation elsewhere which caused me to incur more charges on this trip. I would also wish that the fact that the bathrooms and showers are communal should be highlighted more by Expedia. I also don’t think Expedia should be advertising an unsafe and unclean hotel as this putting their customers in danger.

This is a budget friendly property. It’s a short walk from the train station making it easy to visit surrounding towns. It’s also very close to grocery stores. My only criticism is there was never any soap in the soap dispenser in the sink in the hallway.

I got a dirty room, that was close to the toilets. I could literally hear everyone flushing the toilet and their buisness in there. The mattresses are dirty and disgusting. This is such a scam

Hotel in a somewhat strange, dark area, the hotel was not clean, bathrooms outside the room, free outside shower and 2 euros for a towel... Extremely noisy guests. Not to mention the room smelled a lot of cigarettes! I do not recommend

This was a secon f1 accommodation we stayed overnight. The only room on the ground they could offer smelled horid. Most likely to incorrectly installed toilet. We kept window opened and sprayed with body freshner. You can't sort anything since it is France and they don't bother to employ staff in the recrption that speeks English. Occasionally, they do so for the night shifts. This group of hostels rather than hotels seem to pride themselves of modern inexpensive places to stay but they are deluding themselves get bookings by some level of deception. If all details were available I wouldn't book ever. This is 21 century and they standard is not it.

The desk agent wouldnt honor the paid confirmation from Hotels.com. Wanted to be paid again. It took multiple customer service reps to get the issue resolved. Then the desk agent was apologetic, but there was frustration for it taking almost 2 hours to resolve. While sitting in the car, in the parking lot with my daughter late at night. It was a great price and we just needed a place to sleep as we passed through the area, so the hotel itself was just fine. The $3 surcharge for towels should be more clear, it was fine just a surprise because it was in the fine print after we received the confirmation.

HotelF1’s single with private bathroom was clean but no closet or drawer to put your clothes. No hair dryer provided even you asked for receptionist, so bring your own hair dryer. HotelF1 is better with car, no landmark nearby. 10 minutes walk to local train/bus stations, but fewer scheduled trains to popular Nice or Cannes, sometimes the trains delayed or canceled. The receptionists don’t speak English, not convenient if you don’t speak French. HotelF1 has hostel shared detached bathrooms, I paid extra single digits changed to attached private bathroom. Nice is expensive in summer, HotelF1 is probably lowest rate you can find for single with private bathroom.

We stayed at the f1 hotel as it was next to the Villeneuve-Loubet station and had great links to nice, Monaco, Cannes. The room is very small but is perfect if you are using it just to sleep in and to explore the French Riviera. The WiFi is temperamental. Overall was perfect for what we needed.

This place was beyond gross. I still do not understand how this is still an establishment. It seemed very unsafe especially the area. The community bathrooms looked like they had not been cleaned in years. 4 out of the 6 toilets were clogged and so gross.

The hotel was in the middle of a semi-industrial park with a lot of weedsmoking and alcohol drinking young people around the hotel, outside. We didn't even want to go Out of the hotel after 7 Pm because of that. We Will never stay at that place anymore.
