I want to compliment three staff members who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable: Manager/Concierge Tim is a great ambassador for this property going out of his way to make sure everything was effortless. He’s an asset to Marriot. Also, both Dana and Kelsey were helpful and always smiling - their attitude really contributed to our Reno experience. Some of the other front desk staff could take notes from both Dana & Kelsey at how to work with customers as their skills fell short compared to Dana & Kelsey’s.

They charge you $15 to park in the garage across the street, which is free to park in. When I asked about this, the front desk lady was extremely rude and lied about how the garage works. At no point do you need a key to get out. I had already parked in the free parking and basically got charged $15 for being honest that I had a vehicle. Stay somewhere else when you’re in Reno. This place is no good.

The Volume on the TV did not work properly... I paid for high speed internet so that I could use the TV to stream and the volume was so high I disturbed the neighboring rooms. $4.95 wasted... would appreciate a refund. I was going to stop by the desk to request it but there was another customer being helped and I need to catch a early flight.

Very convenient

We have two people who are in wheelchairs and we were surprised to find out that the parking garage isn't connected to the hotel, and there was a ballgame that was sharing parking, so that made it difficult to check in, park and bring our belongings in. I also booked a king bed and sofa bed room, and there was no sofa bed available.

The actual hotel is superb- rooms are clean. Bistro is convenient and reasonably priced. The area however is quite u safe to walk around in. Convenient to ball park

Stayed one night. Nothing fancy, but good beds, super clean room. Clean linens. A/C noisy.

Easy check in, nice comfy bed and very clean. Side was ripped and looked shabby, that was my only criticism

Overall its good value for money. The place is safe and kids friendly.
What we did not like at all was the spa and swimming pool. It was not maintained and there were lots of bugs in the water. Its not an indoor pool.

Great stay. Check in was quick and easy. I slept like a baby, special shout out to the black out curtains. Nice view of the river, you can hear the water rushing if you crack your window. Nice polite staff, thank you.

Beautiful, peaceful property with everything we could possibly want. Spacious updated rooms with fridge, microwave, bathtub, comfortable beds and bedding. Outdoor seating to enjoy a meal or drink with a river view. Restaurant and bar onsite. The pool and hot tub are outside next to the trees but fully covered for an indoor/outdoor feel. One of the most spacious and welcoming lobbies I've seen. Parking is in the garage across the street but it was not inconvenient. I would definitely stay here again. Casinos are nearby if you want to play but stay in a quiet environment.

It's a very nice well-kept modern hotel. The only negative is that it's $12 to park. The other thing I like coffee in the morning there was coffee there when we check in which we used the first morning and it was not replaced.

Very clean property with good amenities and walking access to downtown area. The bed was quite uncomfortable, shower water pressure was very low.

Very close to the middle of everything yet quiet and relaxing. Loved the pool and jacuzzi.

Not a very notable destination. Common areas were clean. Room was decent. Staff was ok, but minimal and transactional in engagement.
No perks like coffee in the morning. Overall a mediocre experience.

I was excited to stay at a property in downtown Reno that wasn't a casino. Unfortunately, the location didn't feel safe for walking and the bed was not comfortable. This hotel is fairly new, I was surprised that the mattress was saggy. I don't think I will book it again.

Nice staff, nice and clean room, good location.

The property was located across from the ballpark. Parking was a little bit hard because there was a game going on and the parking structure was for the stadium patrons as well. Overall I think it was ok. The staff was friendly and the room decent.

Enjoyed staying here very much but felt that the gym could use more equipment. It only had 2 treadmills, 2 elliptical machines and a weight set with 2 benches...everything else was great. Bed was comfortable, room was clean and staff was really nice.

This was a last minute change of plans when our Airbnb reservation ended up being a disaster. We looked on hotels.com and was able to grab a better deal than calling to check the rate- So obviously we booked it thru hotels.com. We checked in around midnight and the front desk staff was friendly and made us feel relieved to know we had a clean, comfy place to rest our heads for the next two nights. Our room was very clean, nice updated amenities, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, safe, AND a bin for recycling which made my eco friendly heart sing! The shower had reasonable water pressure and the beds were quite comfy. The heat was set for 70 but we like to sleep in cooler temps so we pumped the temp down and opened the window for a couple hours and the temp kept a steady 68F thru the night and the following day. TV worked great, wifi seemed to work well and the front desk accommodated requesting more towels when needed. We chose not to have any servicing of our room all day since we felt it was not needed. There was food offered for a fee but the prices were a bit steep and we already had brought breakfast items with us. We didn't have any issues with noisy neighbors. I also noticed recycling containers around the hotel which was impressive to me that they were highly visible for guests to use. We had a rental car and used the parking garage for fifteen/day- pricey but still less than the Airbnb total. Sounds like years ago parking was free but not anymore.

We checked in but couldn't park our truck in the garage and the parking lot where they told us to park was dark not protected and there weren't any other cars in the lot. We noticed a lot of people walking around and we didn't want our truck broke into. Plus it was a new Sierra Denali. So we checked out since we didn't have any other options and went to another hotel. Of course they charged us for one nights stay but wasn't happy about that since we tried to find a place to park. Was not happy at all with the people there. I don't believe we should've had to pay anything.

Chose this hotel, because they had electric chargers and courtyard Marriott’s are pretty predictable. Unfortunately, we arrived late due to storm traffic and no chargers were available. We were a bit stiff from the long drive and had to buy Tylenol from their market. Would’ve been nice to get a little more personalized treatment given the difficult roadtrip with kids. Hotel seemed nice but we were only there for a quick sleep.
