Definitely not a higher-end hotel, the name says a lot. As a place to stay, it was adequate and seemingly safe, but it needs some updating and the layout and location of the hotel, parking, etc., is not the best. It is convenient to some places to eat or shop, but you will probably need to drive to any business that addresses your needs and wants.

This is a very nice motel with upgraded rooms. The room was larger than many, very nicely decorated, very clean, great shower and clean bathroom, and the bed was very comfortable. The price was very good considering how nice the room was.

We had the best room, in excellent condition and very clean. We never actually saw any of the staff for check in or check out, but everything was taken care of for our stay. The room was exceptionally well decorated! We would love to come back!

Nice hotel, a little bit old fashioned but 100% clean and well organized. The room was nice, spacy and with all you need for a comfort stay. Picnic place outdoor and a friendly host.

Friendly, efficient checkin. Everything great except for the stairs to our room. I thought the whole place was on one floor. Took the last room and it was up quite a few steep metal stairs.

This was a very cute and cozy place that allowed us to walk everywhere we went. The lady running the place was so nice and had us all ready to go when we got there. Easy check in and out and no surprises.

The lady at reception, Vera, was very cheerful and helpful. The motel itself was perfectly acceptable for the price we paid. We had a nice hot shower, heating for a cold night and a comfortable bed. The bed linens are old, but clean, and the room pleasantly decorated with homely touches. The room was not dusty musty and didn't smell of toxic carpet cleaner, as so many older motels do, so we were happy.

I guess when you arrive late they just leave a note. Sunday morning too. Sent me up to the only 2nd floor room which was cool. The only reason I didn't leave a better review is because the heater blew right over the bed all night.

It is the perfect spot for an individual on his way somewhere. Clean, has everything I needed, Vera went out of her way to accomodate my late arrival and made it easy for me. I'll definitel stop by again.

My room is absolutely charming and lives up to the motel's name - rustic! I love the pinecone theme, and everything is so accommodating, right down to the coffee. This is my second stay, and I am sure there will be more!

Liked the old school look of it. The office was closed when I arrived. Taped to the door was a note identifying my room. Didn't care for the announcement of what room I was in. Otherwise, great stay.

The staff did everything to ensure that we were satisfied, and we never saw each other - this is a great skill. The room is cozy. Refrigerator and microwave in the rooms. We were there in warm weather, but the room is ready for the harsh winter. The downside was that we needed more than a couple of pillows, but there were more than enough blankets and towels.

Really weird arrival at the motel - note on door for Lorraine W. room 2 and 'Mary room 1'; all others, no more rooms available. Huh? The sign said open, but the office was locked. I went to the room, and there it sat - open with the key and my sales receipt to be signed on the table. The problem was that the office was locked, and I had no access to the ice machine. As for the room, it was all I expected, which was fine.
