Location - Location - Location this hotel is extremely conveniently located to haram. We have previously stayed at Movien Pick and other five star hotels and in my opinion getting to Haram from this hotel is much more swift then those. I have stayed in Ramadan and Sahoor and Iftar arrangements are very nice. A tip leave 30 minutes after magrib and you will get ample place otherwise space could be a bit tighter. Also there are ample food offerings so my advice don’t pay in advance and choose what you would like to do. . . Staff is courteous and polite. My only constructive point reception staff didn’t know the difference between Double and Twin room. And ended up in double room despite being solo occupant of the room. But in the grand scheme of things minor point and therefore full 5 star to the hotel.

The Al Rawda Royal Inn is Very Good and Wonderful.
We stayed at the Al Rawda Royal Inn for 8 nights in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, with my family.
The Hotel is located very close to the Masjid Al Haraam and is only a few minutes walk away. It is on the second row of Hotels behind the Taiba Suites and Moevenpick Al Munwara Hotels.
The Staff were very friendly and very helpful especially Mr. Ezzat in Reservations, Mr. Marwan the Duty Manager, and Mr. Abdul Razzak on the Front Desk.
The Housekeeping and Restaurant Staff were also Excellent especially Selim in the Restaurant.
The Hotel has spacious rooms including the disabled room and all the rooms were nice and clean.
The food was also very good.
We enjoyed our stay very much this time and we will be staying here next time we visit Madinah In-Sha-Allah for our Umrah/Visit to Saudi Arabia.

I ordered twin room for family and end up with two single separate beds I each room. I also declared when booking I have 2 adults plus 2 children for 2 rooms. Spoke to manger and they gave slightly bigger rooms but still with 2 single beds.

The location is perfect but the furniture is bad... The room is a bit small.
My wife got injured from the mattress, the mattress was in bad condition but covered with a clean sheet so there was a metal coming out from the side of the mattress and it was covered by the bed sheet.

I chose this hotel for me and my family after the reviews on the Hotels.com website. My family and I have been booking through Hotels.com for many years and this was the first time we chose the AL-RAWDA ROYAL INN as it was only a few metres from the Holy Mosque, which is great for my family as a couple of them are in wheelchairs.
HOWEVER, Biggest Mistake I made... Check-In was a nightmare and CHOAS during the fire Alarm when ALL THE STAFF RAN OUT OF THE HOTEL FIRST. We arrived early at 12pm and were left stranded in the lobby for 5 hours before we were given our rooms. I had called 2 weeks in advance and I was told early check-in would not be a problem. No accessible rooms either as I had requested.
The Triple Rooms were NOT proper sized Triple Rooms. They were Twin Rooms with an extra bed pushed in. The rooms were not like the photos on the Hotels.com website.
BUT this was the least of our problems for the 4 nights that I had booked. During the first night there was a Power Cut and the Fire Alarm went off in the middle of the night. We were on the 3rd Floor of the hotel and we had to carry my disabled mother down 5 floors of stairs to get to the lobby. There were no staff around and people were panicking an children were crying. When we go to the lobby ALL the HOTEL STAFF had LEFT the HOTEL. There was NO HOTEL STAFF for 2 hours. Guests were left stranded. 2 hours later the Fire Alarm was turned off and Guests told to return to their rooms.

Good: Its very close to Haram. Staff is friendly
Bad: This is not 5 star maybe at best 3 or 4 start hotel; smaller elevators, lights don't come on on your floor until you step out of room or elevator - annoying. rooms are small; internet is poor and open no password or registration for wifi. Food was just not good. I will avoid this in future

I was told by a Expedia rep that this hotel was 5 stars. It was very disappointing when I went in the room.

The location of the hotel was excellent, right outside the Haram (30 seconds walk) and right next to Hilton.
Pros
The service was excellent and very fast. The cleaners came promptly when required and always asked us if we needed anything.
Very close to shops like Bin Dawood and behind Taiba Arac Suites (where you can find anything you need).
Free WiFi was good even in our rooms.
Cons
The hotel was not up to 5 star standard because the furniture and decor were old and outdated.
Breakfast was decent but not like Hilton
Overall I would recommend this hotel.

المشكلة الوحيدة هي المواقف قليلة و ضيقة. بالنسبة للمسافة من الحرم فهي ممتازة جداً خاصة للنساء.
