Not much air in our room. Could see any vents at all for airflow and the room was noticeably warmer than the hallway and the lobby areas of the hotel.

Great stay!! Still getting use to no air conditioning, but hotel was nice and clean, staff was amazing, and it’s perfectly close to all that you’d want in a stay.

We were welcomed very warmly by the front desk. We were early for check-in and were given a coffee and small treat while we waited. The room was spacious in comparison to other rooms we had stayed in while traveling Bavaria. It also had a small balcony. Everything was clean and the bed was comfy.
It was a great location to walk to landmarks, shopping, and dining.
Breakfast was amazing! We were also given a couple bottles of riesling to celebrate our anniversary.
We will definitely stay there again if back in Trier!

Having booked 5 nights on our trip already, I left the remaining nights blank to offer some flexibility. On deciding to stay in Trier, I looked for something central, within my price range and offering parking. This hotel turned out to be the ideal choice and caused me to extend our stay for an extra night. I liked the way I was phoned en route to check on my arrival time and to give me parking instructions. It was a personal touch. The place is a bit unusual in its layout, larger than it at first seems and parking is adequate and a real boon. The room was one of the largest on our trip, very well appointed with white bedding and towels, as you would expect. The price for the buffet-style breakfast was very reasonable and the food was typical German style offering both quantity and quality.

From check in to check out we had a wonderful stay. The rooms are clean and spacious. The location is central to the areas to visit while in Trier. We would most definitely stay here again if our travel plans included another trip to Trier. I wouldn’t spend time looking at other properties. I did the leg work for you, and there isn’t a better place to stay.

Good breakfast, friendly staff and a nice room with drapes that keep the light out perfectly. The hotel is not on the center side of Porta Nigra but all the standard hotspots are nevertheless easily accessible by foot

Excellent budget hotel, within 2 minutes walk of Porta Negra and most of places to see. Great welcome from very helpful receptionist. Breakfast very good.

The staff is absolutely amazing! The place was very quiet and I loved the ability to open both windows at night without any worry. The hotel was near several shopping stores, winery, food and bus service.

Very nice room. It was clean and spacious. The location was nice with just a short walk to the Porta Nigra and it was quiet. The breakfast was good but not amazing. The wifi signal in our room was quite weak though. I would absolutely stay here again!

Great stay. Comfortable room, hotel staff were very helpful with directions to sites and restaurants. Breakfast, even though not included with room, was a great bargain without if choices. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed in a double room with family of four for one night. Comfortable and newly renovated hotel just outside the historic center, a short walk from the Porta Negra. Parking in the back and walkable from train station. Clean and friendly staff. One thing to be aware: elevator does not reach the top two floors.

Within easy walking distance of the historic city centre, and a delicious, fresh buffet breakfast for only 9€ per person. We had the family room on the fourth floor, which was fairly spacious (two bedrooms and one bathroom) but the elevator only went to the second floor so a bit difficult taking our luggage up the rest of the way (our daughter was spending a month in Germany so had a heavy suitcase). Plus no air conditioning so the rooms were a bit warm. The cross-ventilation between the rooms did help cool things down. Felt more like a motel than a hotel. Decent overall and a reasonable price.

Excellent but hotel rooms need proper air conditioning with rising average temperatures.

The hotel was very close to Porta Nigra and the main square....only a 5 minute walk. Yet it was far enough away that it was quiet. The hotel provides free parking on site. The staff spoke English and were very nice.

This hotel is conveniently located between an Aldi and Norma, with the Porta Negri just 2 1/2 blocks down the street, along with several blocks of shopping plaza. The hotel is modern, with green and orange color accents, which were surprisingly pleasant. Our room was spotless clean, with fresh fluffy white linens and everything we needed was there. The breakfast was very good, everything from pickles and meat and cheese to cereals and eggs and meat. The linens that were very comfortable. I would definitely visit this hotel again!
