green, green~ as like the name of itself!^^
I really enjoyed it's isolated setting in green pasture- almost like in jungle??
I loved it! and the private beach; easy to access from my room.
I will come back. probably.

Everything was amazing. Staff was on the ball. Restaurant was very good. Spa was excellent. Can’t say enough good things about our stay. Thank you!

The seafront villa is clean and the location is good, and the rooms are very clean. The breakfast is delicious and changes every day, but dinner is a little lacking in salt and pepper. It's a bit far from the night market, so it's better to rent a scooter.

awesome. serene. peaceful. everything is great. if you want to be close to the action, then it is too secluded, but any easy taxi ride.

Quiet resort with clean beach since the staffs clean it every morning.
It is a bit far from the central area and it is nearly impossible to book Grab from the resort. The resort does have free shuttle from/to the airport which you must notify them at least 48 hrs in advance. It also has free shuttle to the Duong Dong market but you have to book it at least 24 hrs in advance.
The property is large and they closed down the restaurant near our room. The weather was very hot (38-40 C) when we were there so it was a task to walk to the restaurant at the other end of the resort for food. They do have small carts to drive us around if needed.
The free breakfast was delicious and had plenty options for you to choose from, Western cuisine and Vietnamese cuisine. Their noodles never failed me. And they do try to change the menu a bit. However, you have to pay for lunch and dinner still and they are very expensive.
We enjoy our stay at the resort but not sure if we will be back.

No special benefit due to Expedia. Property is excellent and would love to visit again.

Very nice place, great breakfast. Drinks and food after breakfast are too expensive.

Positives: gracious welcoming staff. Manager Cindy made a special effort to connect with us several times over the course of our stay, lovely swimming pools, nice sandy beach, delicious food at the restaurants, we had an ocean-view villa with its own pool, an outdoor tub & an outdoor shower.
Negatives: ants in our room and twice in our bed. Ugh! We mentioned it to the staff after our first night but still had ants up to the last of our 5 night stay. I was surprised that the manager did nothing more than apologize and thank us for being so nice about it. When you pay a lot for a room in a higher end resort, I would expect to have gotten a discount on my accommodation.

The hotel and beach are beautiful, but the service (mostly on the food and beverage side) truly needs to be lifted to meet the minimum expectations.

The grounds were beautiful, the room was superb (ocean view with pool, well worth the extra cost), the staff were all delightful and the food was good.
We had a lovely, peaceful 5 days. We went into Duong Duong once, it was interesting but we were so glad to be staying somewhere quiet.

The service was great, it's a beautiful resort. The food is great, and although it's out of their control the cicadas were very loud most times so it was hard to sleep.

What a beautiful resort in hart of nature. Because it is rain seoson now, some facilitoes are not running but it was enough to relax for few days. Steffs are friendly and responce immediatly with various channels. We ate almost every meal in the main restaurant and food was nice. You can meet some insects in your room or balconey, but remember that you are spending your special moment with true nature.
Do not go anywhere to see sunset. Tiki bar, even it is shut down cause of to much rain, is a best plce to enjoy romantic sunset. Must recommend.

This hotel is hugely overpriced and poorly managed. I booked an Ocean Pavilion With Private Pool, in hopes that it is what they advertise it is. Well, it's not: it's extremely noisy, there is no hot water, the service is terrible and the air is filled with toxic smoke from burning trash pits around the hotel. I deeply regret wasting so much money on this hotel that is so far from a 4-star luxury resort that is advertised.
On the hotel website they are selling 'peace and tranquility', it's nothing like that in reality. All of the ocean bungalows with private pools are located on the east side of the property. The problem is that right at the edge of the property there is a fishing village with a karaoke bar. The wailing starts as early as 1pm and doesn't end until well after midnight every day and each of those $500+ per night rooms are exposed to some local yelling and squealing for hours on end. It's so loud all those bungalows shake, it is impossible to be on the terrace. It's awful. Not one person at the reception understood English. The reception manager said that because the noise was coming from outside the hotel property there was nothing he would do, made a few sexist and misogynistic remarks and gestures trying to silence me. The wailing continued every single day, it never stops and the staff know it very well. We asked for a partial refund as we weren't able to use many of the amenities we paid for and were told they would get back to us. We never got the refund.

Absolutely beautiful! The resort truly feels like you are on a tropical island and not in a concrete jungle like so many of the other resorts. The free shuttle into town works well, but it’s just as easy to get a Grab or taxi. The beach and pools are beautiful to swim in or simply lie around… the only request would be some more mosquito repellent tools!!

Simply the best hotel we have stayed in. It is exceptional in everyway from the location, quality of the room, privacy and comfort, excellence of the food, beauty of the gardens and the remarkable customer service shown by all of the staff. The Green Bay is a very special place.

A lovely hotel, very relaxing and quiet place to rest and enjoy the perfect private beach. Gorgeous room with private pool and sea view. It’s remote nothing close by but that suited us after touring Vietnam.

Quiet, peaceful and a beautiful location.
Not a lot to do though outside of the resort.

The facilities at Green Bay were as advertised and great, but the service was unfortunately underwhelming compared to similar quality resorts across Southeast Asia. Here were a few issues we had:1. Subpar English: We had issues on numerous occasions trying to communicate with staff in English. While we dont expect the junior staff to be fluent, trouble communicating with the front desk made day-to-day tasks much more difficult.2. Strict cutoff times: We checked in at roughly 3:30pm and was given a tour of the room and facilities. During the tour, the front desk guide told us that tea time runs from 3:00pm to 4:00pm, to which we remarked that we had better get going. He didnt seem to quite understand and continued the tour up until 3:55pm, in which we hurried over to the restaurant. When we got there at 4:00pm exactly, there was a spread of cakes still available, but the staff told us that tea time was over. We were really tired and hungry, so we argued back and forth for them to eventually let us have the leftover cakes and a cup of coffee.3. Infrequent shuttle: The Green Bay offers a shuttle to downtown, but the times it leaves are predetermined by the resort and sometimes doesnt have a return shuttle. We ended up using Grab for all of our transportation needs.

The property was beautiful and well maintained. Rooms were beautiful and large. A little far from the city not much around the property. They do have a free shuttle to take you to the city and we did use it. They will also pick you up. The staff were friendly and tried to be helpful but needed more training. Every day at the restaurants was an adventure. If you are looking for a place to relax it is great.

Very nice property with lots of very nice amenities. Room is very nice with lots of space. We booked a bay view room but view of the bay was a stretch. It was a peek a boo view so we were disappointed as we paid for the upgraded view. As I said the room was very nice but view not so much.

Everything was clean. The beaches were very well kept, while other places on the island have a pretty serious problem with plastics washing up on the beach.

Amazing place, staff were cleaning the beach every morning. The family bungalow was huge with two bathrooms (outdoor and indoor) to each room. We didn't have any insect problems
Overall a wonderful experience, it would be perfect if the private beach section was slightly larger. Wish there were more shuttles to/from town - the shuttle was full the last day and we had to take a cab back

Staff service is excellent. Wish the property has a full Vietnamese restaurant. The management should clear the beach of all the rocks and trash similar to the main beach.

Peaceful location, bungalow accommodation laid out in gardens blending nicely with nature. Well-kept beach, lovely pool, good restaurants, fantastic breakfast buffet. If I had to be picky the serve yourself coffee at breakfast was never hot enough and the cups were too small but we got round it getting the waiting staff to make Americanos from their machine behind the bar.

Staying at Green Bay was like being in paradise. It´s lush and beautiful location gives you that peace of mind and you can focus on just unwind and relax. Every staff member from receptionist to waiters to management was exceptional and gave us a feeling of being the most important guests. They made all the guests feel like this! I recommend Green Bay to everyone who is looking for a unique piece of heaven. We can´t wait to go back next year. Thank you all for giving us a vacation of a lifetime.
General comments:
- Amazing wifi all over the resort
- Easy going anywhere on the island with a taxi (we booked a taxi for 8 h and drove all over the island for the small price of about 60$)
- The dumplings in the room service menu is the best dumplings in the world!
- Food and drink service can be a little slow sometimes but it was never a problem
- Try a avocado or mango shake at Amanda cafe in the town
- Use the free shuttle service the resort offers
- The aloe vera face treatment is well worth the money even though the spa is more expensive than in the town.
- Take the cable car to Pineapple Island, it´s fun and really cool. If you´re scared of heights this might not be as fun.
- Check out Rory´s Beach Bar for a really cool concept! The kitchen hasn't opened yet but you can get the best food I've ever tasted from across the street and eat at the bar. It costs about 8$ for two!
