The time spent here was magical. A little piece of quiet paradise tucked in behind the busy streets of Chinatown. The level of warmth and service from all of the staff was a nice touch to an already amazing stay. I can't recommend this place enoughm

Hardly an hotel certainely not 4 star. Nice property bit the windows are not sealed nore soundproof. It's not safe, it's noisy and there is no hotel service at all. No one cleaned the room, and their is no.concierge , it's only the ( nice) women of the coffee shop wich is closed after 7pm. After this time there is nobody. You've better not need anything. Check in only in between 3pm and 7 !

There is no staff to respond in the night, so we got the inconvenience to ask how to use the TV (eventually we could not use it), ask to change the time of breakfast.
The breakfast was very nice.

Small boutique hotel on the eastern end of Chinatown. Very comfortable, large room with great breakfast. Location is close to metro with good food/drinks options nearby.

Extremely friendly staff. Beautiful accommodations. A great night’s sleep. So much attention to detail. Some of the best food we had in Thailand. Thank you Baan for the warm welcome and hospitality. I would recommend this place to anyone, but especially to someone who wants to be steps away from authentic Bangkok, but with some peace and quiet.

It is a unique boutique hotel with only 4 rooms, with a very nice cafe with good coffee. The location is well situated in Chinatown with lots of food options but is still quiet as it is a short walk from the main street. It is a bit far from MRT Hua Lamphong, about 15mins walk, but one can easily grab or flag a cab. There's a nearby station under construction. When that opens the hotel will be even more convenient. The room and toilet is big, clean and comfortable. The service staff are very attentive but not intrusive and they try their best to make your stay comfortable. It feels a lot more personal than a normal hotel, more like bed and breakfast but with hotel like comfort. There is no room service, but you can easily just walk out and grab a bite. It is also near many temples and a short ride to the Grand Palace area. There are many new/hip cafes, ice cream shops, bars, etc springing up in the area. Will be interesting to slowly explore by foot, along with the many old streets and alleys. There are several massage joints there, but I highly recommend checking out Center Point Massage & Spa (Chinatown), about 10mins walk away. It is not the cheapest, but very value for money for the quality they offer. 2H Thai massage is 750B. All in, I highly recommend the hotel. It is about 1 year old and still not very well known. I believe in no time, it will be difficult to get a room there.

If you are tired of the homogenized., look-alike, sound-alike and feel-alike hotels that populate every major city, and if you should find yourself in Bangkok looking for an oasis, you could do no better than the Bann2459. My wife and I spent two night there in January and still speak of it as a high point of our trip. While I am not old enough to remember such times, I think of this property as a reflection of a time when travelers were truly treated as guests and not as passers-by. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with and treated with great warmth. It is a place where the staff becomes known to you and vice versa as well. The room was minimalist and elegant. The breakfasts we enjoyed were delectable and prepared with great care. When we made certain dietary needs known, they were respected. Most of all, this island of calm is truly an oasis. It was such a pleasure to walk through the heavy wooden gate after an evening of chaotic energy on Yaowarat St, the main artery in Chinatown located just a five minute walk away. Like walking into another world. When we arrived, the staff came to greet, and they came to say goodbye as well. If you think back on all your travels, how many places where you laid your head remain memorable. This is one of those places.
