It was awesome!! Great art everywhere and close to the venue we where going to for 3 nights of music!! Jonathon at the front desk was super accomadating and made us feel welcome from the start!! Amazing service all around!! Thanks everyone

Clean, cute, nice sized room with good toiletries and a nice shower. Gym was small but not crowded and the treadmill and weights were in good condition. Only cons were the duvet wasn’t super soft and there wasn’t a top sheet so that was the “feel” when sleeping (fitted sheet was nice quality) and the hotel had a decent spread for breakfast but no plant based milk for the oatmeal, cereal or coffee so I had to get breakfast elsewhere (I’m vegan).

A nice welcome to our stay in town. Here for a music event at the Roadrunner. Only a 10 minute walk away. Also upon return around 10:30pm, we received another warm welcome back from Clara and John the night manager. Asked about our concert and we inquired about the brownies (that were offered in lobby earlier that evening-with Wine tasting& charcuterie-yum) and John went out of his way to go get us a couple(even warmed them up!) A comfortable stay and continental breakfast to close out our stay! Would definitely come back or recommend to others!

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room had a heavy smell of air freshener that was not pleasant. The breakfast was a sad affair with very limited choices. The AC in the room could not be adjusted and a heater was needed to adjust the temperature. In summary we were a bit disappointed with our stay there.

This was the perfect place for our quick trip to Boston for a concert at a nearby venue. They welcomed us with a glass of wine and charcuterie at check-in. The room was spotlessly clean, and we could watch the crew teams rowing on the river from our window. The bed was super comfy! The vibe of the hotel was eclectic and fun. Note: there is no coffemaker in the room, but they had excellent coffee available in the lobby. Great little boutique hotel.

The hotel is cool art deco for sure. Craft Food Hall restaurant bar inside is great. A full wall of beers on tap where you tap a card to try different ones. The food is yummy too.
The room was ok. Nothing fancy. Murals are painted on the walls. I stayed on the second floor across from the elevator. The elevator doors open and close every time
they pass the floor and it’s annoyingly loud. Bed was comfortable but there was really no comforter or blanket.

The hotel was cold b/c of a broken boiler + I was amazed that they didn’t tell me that upon arrival + waited until I commented on the temp + then offered a space heater. I would have expected a reduced rate on a ready overpriced room. I’ll never stay there again

Great location and service! I would definitely stay there again. The staff were very helpful.

It was cold. No heat.

This place is sooooooo overpriced for what you get. $500 a night plus an extra $100 for your dog and a fee for parking. Then they wanted an extra $50 for late checkout. I get it you’re in a city and things are pricy but it’s the bare minimum of a hotel. The breakfast was laughable. A tray of scrambled egg, some toast and bagels, juice and coffee - that was it. Everything was clean that’s the best I can say

Heat in room was nonexistent. Staff gave me a spaceheater. Not acceptable for a room that cost $350 a night. Room also had no microwave or coffee service. They brought that in after I complained. Breakfast service and choices were very poor. Staff at front desk was very kind.

The staff were amazingly helpful and the room was clean and housekeeping services were also excellent. Nice place and would come back.

Too expensive. Eggs were ice cold

this was the 4th time we have stayed there. we have enjoyed our stay every time. easily accessible to many clubs and restaurants.

My husband and I stayed 2 days. Only reason I didn’t give them a 5 rating because they don’t have a coffee maker or microwave in our room. That was extra.

Good location for what I needed. Hotel is pretty run down and felt expensive for the state it was it.

Cute, artsy hotel. Love that they highlight local artists. Breakfast was ok, not great. Hotel has great potential (or maybe once did) with the bar/restaurant/patio areas.
Bathrooms are clean but not the nicest. Room was nice and clean. Lovely riverside park across the street.

There’s a lot to love about this hotel including great people, art, courtyard, wi-if, location. It has potential to be great, but I understand that politics over a beverage license has limited the possibility of this property fulfilling its potential.

Love our stay here. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Breakfast area and choices were good. Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet.

Felt like a motel rather than hotel.

The property halls, elevator and the rooms look Dirty.
It looks nothing like the pictures.

The free breakfast wasn't what I like. They only had cranberry juice and didn't have any flavored cream for the coffee. It was plain and simple.

Like the design, lobby, check in staff friendly. Room was clean, linens were refreshed daily during my 5 day stay.
Breakfast was sub optimal. Boring, scrambled eggs every day with rolls of deli ham and American slice cheese. Toaster slow and busy. Prefer variety of food choices.

Really nice new clean hotel. Rooms are big. I stayed for almost 2 weeks and did not want to leave

People are very friendly. Clean hotel and ample parking. Safe and convenient.

I would not consider this property a luxury hotel, however it was very convenient for us. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was near a bus route, and I liked that we didn't have to catch an Uber or cab all the time. The included breakfast buffet was a real plus! I would stay here again for short trips to visit with family.

The Studio Allston was super cool! I really liked the tea/lemonade/brownies that were out upon check-in! It's also just a super cool looking hotel. The area around the hotel was super hip with a lot of beer gardens, which was cool. We really liked "The Speedway" up the street.
The room itself was nice. The only weird thing was the bathroom ceiling was cork tiles, and the shower curtain was super worn on top which was weird. But no real complaints that affected the stay.
Would definitely stay again.

Comfortable bed and great water pressure out of shower head. Flooring a little grundgy

On the map I thought it would be a good location for our needs, but it wasn’t. Not on or near any T lines. Main building lobby and breakfast were nice, but our room was run-down and dingy.

Loved being able to walk to Harvard Business School, great restaurants and Trader Joe.

This was a great find for the price. Fun and funky. Super friendly staff, $7 parking!!! And a great courtyard. Clean and walkable to restaurants.

Breakfast was good. Location good. Staff very friendly. Rooms were in good shape. Not an amazing hotel, but a very good one!

We really enjoyed our stay at Studio Allston. The staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The parking was easy and convenient. It was really nice to have breakfast included (although they needed either a bigger toaster or a second one). Our room was great!(although I do have some bathroom suggestions: a stronger fan, hooks to hang stuff up and a door that closes and locks). We took Ubers and Lyfts everywhere and we were never very far from any of the activities we wanted to do. We would definitely stay here again!

Very good location with easy access to Cambridge, Boston and Watertown. Large grocery store nearby. Cute hotel managed by young staff (Klara helped us greatly and always with a smile). Hotel was very clean, we had a great view of Charles River kayaks and all!
3.0
Older hotel that was clean but with a slight musty smell. There was no view from our room, construction could be seen. Our breakfast was so so with watery eggs on the buffet line. It was very convenient to Harvard, Fenway and the medical district. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The stuff was very friendly and attentive, the building is clean and safe, easy parking, I satisfied, my big recommendation
