Very relaxing comfortable accommodation

Small room in a converted house. Bright and clean.

Bed was extremely uncomfortable, owner was extremely rude. Don't stay here

We had a lovely stay at the Vee B&B. The host was very kind and the room for four people was great. I would most definitely come back here next time I’m in the area.

The room and ensuite bath were clean and comfortable. The window overlooked the driveway. Breakfast foods were fresh and delicious although instant coffee is not my idea of coffee. I drank tea instead. The garden at the back needs attention. I didn't spend any time there because of the weather - it was raining! Overall, a pleasant and comfortable stay with a friendly and helpful owner.

We had to wait for the cleaner to let us in. There was no staff at the property and we had to serve ourself breakfast.

No service at the B&B. Help-your-self brekfast from the fridge. Troublesome wc flushing, didnt find out how to use the shower, bad smell indoors.

Room was spacious and clean. We ask for a hairdryer and was provided with not only a hairdryer, but also a hair straightener. We were allocated a parking space next door. With was fine. We enjoyed our stay. Red roses infront of house was un full bloom and we could smell them if we opened the windows. Lovely.

The room, home, service, and location are great. My bed is a little creaky, but I slept well.

Darryl was great! Close to restaurants, safe to walk. Ramen right there is yummy. Roses in front are beautiful and they even left one in our room! Bedding was lovely. Thank you!

Let it be clear: This is not a hotel and not providing B&B service.
At arrival nobody was present and there was a small note at the door telling us to call a person upon arrival for check in. We were requested to settle the bill with cash at check in, something we were neither told in the booking peocess or after. As tourists we don't carry lots of cash and had to find a ATM and pay additional cirrency conversion fees and credit card withdrawal fees, as we are not using Euro currency back home. Normally we gat a dicount when using cash but here we ended up paying the full 115 Euros for the room amd 8 Euros in fees in cash up front of our stay clearly not according to the booking terms. Cash payment is nothimg to be expected in 2024. As a result we have not received any receipt for our payment.
At arrival we also had to wait 15 minutes on someone to lock us in to our room and she claimed not to be speaking English.
The room was old and small but tidy and clean. There were 4 other rooms at the same floor/hall and little privacy.
Breakfast services were continental style with cerials, fruits and toast bread with jam. No cheese or ham to put on the toast. No opportunity to get or make eggs of any kind, or other hot meals. The kitchen was tiny but luckily for us nobody else were eating at the same time as we did.
Overall the place was as expected save for the bad service, a simple breakfast service and small rooms.

Very small room and it’s not a bed & breakfast, more like a hostel

We were told at check in that we could only settle the bill in cash. I am from the UK so had to go to a cash point and pay charges, currency conversion etc, we should have been told this before arrival. In addition place is advertised as a Bed and Breakfast, but it's not what you'd expect. It's continental style, this again should be made clear. Nice clean and tidy house but it's not what I expected. Just be honest and upfront then people know what to expect.

Lovely place but the breakfast arrangements are poor. I knew it wouldn’t be a cooked breakfast but the bread and cereal etc that were left for us were cheap, no fruit juice etc. unfortunately this has let them down in my opinion as otherwise a great place near the Center

The best things about this property were that it was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, the room was very small for a double - the bed fitted in the room but it was difficult to walk around it and the bathroom was tiny. I would advise other travellers that the property does not serve breakfast as such. There is a breakfast room where a range of cereals and milk are available, as well as bread, jam, butter and a toaster. If you want tea and coffee, you need to bring it from your room (not a hardship as such, but it would have been nice to be able to make a drink in the breakfast room).

The lady that was running the Vee was so helpful. The food was great and she was a wonderful hostess. I would recommend the Vee B&B to anyone staying in Waterford.

It suited our needs at the time.

The room was clean and owners quite friendly. However, this is not a B and B- they do not offer breakfast. And restaurants are about a 15-20 minute walk.
We would have liked to have know that ahead of time
Otherwise, nice room and friendly service!

I first want to start off with the host. He was very friendly and welcoming. But afterwards, it just went downhill from there. Had to be placed in the house a few doors down and was told they were not serving breakfast, which I paid for. When I entered my room, it was super tiny and my head kept hitting the seiling. I basically had to crawl around the room. The room condition appeared to be forgotten about, as there were holes and dents, and the sheets and pillows were stained. Yuck! Just disgusting!!! Good thing I brought my sleeping bag and own pillow. The toilet was situated in the worst possible spot when it was practically impossible to use it. Knees kept banging into the wall in front of me. The shared shower was extremely tiny and impractical to even enjoy a shower. My arms kept hitting the sides, and I'm not even a big guy. There was no window to open and it was super warm in there and I was sweating the whole time. Thank god it was just for 1 night. It was just terrible. Probably the worst place I've ever stayed at. So many other places in town that are much better I'm sure. This place literally felt like I was a prisoner in an attic or in one of those under the stairs rooms.

The room was clean but cold even with the heating on and the bed was quite uncomfortable. There was a bottle of water on the tea station and the water in it had green mold growing inside it. The shared bathroom was pretty grimy in particular the shower.

I chose this property for a weekend stayover as it included breakfast. On arrival I was told no breakfast were being served but no offer of refund. It cost me an extra 16 euro for breakfasts over the 3 days. I think this breaks advertising rules.
