I like this property. It’s a neat concept and anytime one of the sleeping options is a hammock hanging from two sides of the room, that’s pretty cool.
It has a very hipster/mountain vibe. Very eco friendly and has a couple of very cool amenities. A yeti cooler in the room along with a nice size mini fridge and microwave. The beds are good and the bathroom is a good size. Did I mention that they have boot/show dryers in the room!
A couple things I didn’t like and keep me from giving this a 5 star rating; the heater is an in widow AC/Heat unit that was loud and annoying as hell, you had to choose to either not sleep or freeze and the fact that we could see light coming all around the door (no weather stripping) didn’t help with the temperature issues.
Overall I liked this property and the concept, they just need to apply a little attention to detail.

LOGE in Mt, Shasta, and in Bend, Oregon, offers comfortable cabin-style rooms. Each is a fun place with outdoor activities for families.

The bathroom in my room was NOT clean. Disgusting, in fact. The staff person did move me to another room though, for which I am grateful.

Stairs up to units are falling apart and are unsafe. Rooms are musty.

So many things that I didn’t like,
*Room was too cramped.
*Some of plugs were not working, had a hard time finding charging plug.
*Light in room was really insufficient.
*You could easily hear people walking out or above you in middle of night, don’t stay if light sleeper.
*They charged $30 for 10 minutes of overstay, which they didn’t communicate and I had to find out via my bank statement.
I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay when you’re paying hefty amount, there are plenty of other options.

Great little place to stay. The in house coffe and bakery was a great treat. Definitely a unique place

I really enjoyed by stay at LOGE. It’s got a good vibe and the staff were very accommodating.
The food options on site were very limited and the building is super old … there may be black mold in the bathroom shower.

Ok for younger people with flexibility. Stairs and tight spaces made it difficult

Noisy air conditioner, TV didnt work, not enough interior lights. Lots of space, clean, and otherwise quiet.

Such a welcome relief after a long drive from Ventura

Helpful staff, easy check-in. We appreciated the shared kitchen and gear rentals. That said, the rooms are in need of maintenance. There were lightbulbs missing or burnt out and lamps that didn’t work (which meant the room was dark), the cord to the shoe dryer was completely broken off with exposed wire, the shower curtain didn’t pull across completely. It was fine for a couple nights, but not the best experience.

Definitely not what I was expecting this place might be great if you are 25 and like adventure and roughing it but if your up there in years maybe not there is no coffee pot in the room which is a must for me maybe not for everyone but for over two hundred dollars a night thanks but no thanks

We really don’t like the molded / old bathroom. The price of the lodge seemed compared expensive to general living conditions / property

Very run down. Mold on the bathroom window and mold in the shower. Stains on the comforter and one pillow. Stains in the shower. Ac unit was loud. Bed was very uncomfortable and one side sloops down a bit. Nice view of the mountain and yummy s’mores at night and great fire pits.nice medium size fridge with a real freezer in it.

Fine place to crush for a night. We were on a road trip with two small children and a dog.

The linens on the bed seem to have a little bit of dirt on it. There was also dust on the shelf in the bathroom.

Super fun brand, was a little hard to navigate the rentals you get for the resort fee so was a bummer didn’t get to use any of those options. Also the automated texts are great but it was really hard to get a response form anyone - response time for needs and questions was super slow, didn’t love that.

Extremely noisy wall mounted A/c. Broken bed. Dark room.

Very bad molding in the bathroom, especially ceiling. Also quite dusty. We just went to LOGE Bend a week before. It was so much cleaner than Mt. Shasta.

Great rooms, cool vibe, not a lot of staff.

Was very disappointed with our stay. There was mold all over the bathroom ceiling and we could not use the AC because it smelled like mildew. The lights would flicker on and off constantly and there was no TV remote in the room. The mattress was the hardest bed I've slept on ever. Would never stay again with how overpriced this room was.

We came after Memorial Day weekend..they closed the cafe early for check in however we communicated with the main office via cell and text.. they provided room and key pad access information so we were able to enter the room.. we were able

Excellent place to stay! We would consider the Loge in future travels to Mt Shasta.!

This was our second time staying at Loge. It seems a bit run down comparing to 2 years ago. We loved it 2 years back. Very affordable then with more staff onsite. This year, on a busy Memorial weekend, they didn’t have any breakfast options anymore, except fir old pastries on display for 3 days - the website’s “menu” seems outdated. S’mores for kids are first come first serve at the community room, they don’t provide them in the room anymore - I’d happily pay for the kit. The floor and shower were kinda dirty and sheets and pillowcases stained. Not sure what’s happening to this place, but it seems like they don’t care much anymore. $250 per night seemed decent on a busy weekend, but wouldn’t pay more than that.
The booking and communication/service via text were great though. The kids do love the hammock and the place is pet- friendly. Just think of it more as a camping experience, rather than a motel with breakfast options and a bar.

Basic and inexpensive. A little worn around the edges but clean.

Very unique older hotel. The room and beds were good. A hammock in the middle of the room was unique and fun. The only negative feedback is for the bathroom. The shower stall was very moldy and the floor was a bit disgusting. Those issues can be mitigated relatively easily so not sure why it’s not done. Virtual check in / check out was easy and they were very responsive to our inquiries via texts. It would have been nicer to have real coffee in the room vs instant coffee. We would have gladly gotten good coffee at their cafe but it wasn’t open when we left early.

It's made for outdoorsy people such as myself.

I like the outdoor fire pits, the room was clean and the decorations were very cool!
