Arnaud and his wife were helpful with parking, recommendations of sites to see, served delicious breakfast. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable. The location couldn’t be better. Definitely a great choice for visiting Carcassonne.

Le Magnolia is located on a quiet street and free parking on the street was easy. We received a very friendly welcome, shown to our room and breakfast times explained. The room was very clean, a good size, nicely decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable. Good lighting, a TV and WiFi. We also had a small private balcony which would be lovely in summer. The bathroom ensuite was small but very modern and well planned eg. two sockets near the mirror and space for toilet bags next to the basin. It was well lit and very clean. There was plenty of hot water and the shower was powerfully. Breakfast was wonderful. Yoghurt, fruit, delicious freshly baked home made brioche and muffins, fresh bread & butter, water, tea & choice of coffee. There are numerous cafes and restaurants nearby. Le Magnolia is well worth a visit.

An absolute GEM!
A chic bead and breakfast with a family touch. We stayed one night with our son and felt as if we were at home. Confortable, well appointed and large room for our family of 3.
Wonderfully kind and welcoming owners. The food recommendations were on point.
Breakfast was home made and delicious.

The house is well-decorated, very clean, and home-like. The bathroom was clean (the small bathroom was separate from the shower and washing room) and I loved the airy feel of the hardwood floors. The dining room where we brunch was also welcoming. The hosts were friendly and helpful. They offered us a discount for tickets to see the castle.
The breakfast served at the bed and breakfast daily is excellent and seems to consist of delicious homemade bread and other baked goods, a small tasty yogurt served with three different jams per day and coffee. I enjoyed my American macchiato on the two days we were able to have time for breakfast.
Next to the hotel is a convenience store so that's good to have that nearby for energy drinks and sodas to go. The area seemed to really shut down during early November when we visited although I hear it's bustling in the summer. It's a reasonably close walk to the Carcassonne castle and a short walk to the train stations. There were minimal street lights.

We had a 2 night stay, our first visit to Carcassonne, and Armande and Amandine’s place exceeded our expectations. Lovely room with ample space and balcony which made it feel secluded despite the central location. Fabulous breakfast of homemade yoghurts, cake, apricot jam from the tree outside, and bread of course. Enjoyed and utilised the recommendations too - go to Le Bis-troquet for dinner, super night.

Authentic and welcoming. The hosts are a very lovely young couple who have created a wonderful space from a bygone era. Very happy with everything - location, hygiene, safety, communication and the home made traditional french breakfast

Great breakfasts. Arnot, Amadine and their daughter were most welcoming. Ancient grand magnolia tree in backyard.
We would definitely stay here again. High recommendation for couples.

Wow. We stayed for 1 night and were mist impressed. The room was exactly as shown in website. Very tastefully decorated and comfortably spacious. The bed was comfy and we slept well. The included breakfast was delicious.
We also really liked the location between the town square and the old castle. The hosts were wonderful with their communications leading ip to our arrival and throughout the stay. They dont have parking for a car (only motorbike or bicycle) but helped out with finding free and safe parking very nearby
We will definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends.
