The property is beautiful with plenty of common space to spend time in. My biggest issue was the room itself. It needs a complete update. Being older and worn is cool some times but this was beyond that. I will request one of the smaller cottages the next time I stay. The actual location is one of the best on the island.

Beautiful surroundings. Not cheap, but quality. Great for a couples getaway.

Absolutely beautiful grounds with so much charm and character. The owners watercolour paintings were beautiful. We had a room at the back of the main house overlooking the pool with a large patio that had seating for 4 guests. It was so peaceful despite being a block away from Duval. Excellent location with everything you could want to see within walking distance. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. Above and beyond what we expected. Also delicious coffee which is rare when travelling. Loved the resident cat Mama that we were able to befriend by the end of our stay as well.
The only thing that could be improved on is the extremely firm mattress and pillows we had which could also just be preference. Would certainly return again and consider one of the charming cottages on the property.

First, the people were plain lovely, really felt welcomed! The room was vwry spacious, comfortable and had a great outdoor space right next to onw of the 4 pools. Like many places in the keys, the rooms was a bit old and showed its age. But it also had a lot of charm and very cozy

Simonton Court had been on my to-do list for a long time, and I was happy to finally spend a week there. It's a bit pricey but I found a deal on Expedia so I jumped on it.It's clean, quiet and cozy, and the staff was great. I would stay there again.

The Simonton is like a hidden treasure, it doesn't look like much from the outside but you enter & it is like a magical hidden gem of victorian times.

Wow! This will be our go-to for future KW stays. Perfect location. Beautiful grounds and room. Super comfortable. But really, it’s the people. From our first interactions over the phone setting up scooter rental, to the personal texts we got as our arrival neared to the front desk help radiating genuine happiness and helpfulness to the young lady helping us with breakfast: 12 out of 10. This is the kind of environment and friendly service that the world needs more of. Thank you, all of you. Can’t wait to get back!

The staff was friendly. We were upgraded to a deluxe room which was beautiful. There was no parking available onsite due to them being fully booked; however, they gave us a map to a parking lot that was about a 10 min walk and was $15 a night. Easy walk to Mallory Square.

It was nice and clean so beautiful full of greenery. All staff we came in contact with were nice and helpful when we needed help. This is my second visit to this establishment and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a peaceful place to rest their heads on vacation.

Exceptional location. We were able to walk or bike everywhere! Lots of trees on the property made it extremely lush. Room was on a high floor. No elevators. Room door was extremely sticky and difficult to close and open the door. Thus it was loud. The bed is a little hard. We loved the ability to rent a bike for 24 hours. Best part they pump cool water into the pools during the hottest summer days!!!!

Great property with multiple pools, great breakfast and attentive staff. Only negative was smoke detector went of/malfunctioned and wasn't resolved quickly. Will stay here again hopefully......

Pros: Overall the property was very charming. Cute pools and cottages. Landscape was very pretty and lush. It was nice to have a breakfast option, but the options were slim, but enough. Location is good and very close to everything. They offer filtered cold water which is nice not to have to buy water bottles. They offer happy hour art classes and the teacher--Eric is fantastic! Very fun perk!
Cons: At first glance it looks clean, but when you start to look closer, not very clean. Could use a good deep clean. There are a lot of things falling apart or in disrepair. Many projects that could really make this place shine and feel more upscale and fresh. Some staff seemed kinda putout and a bit cynical-- not as service friendly as we hoped--especially for the price - others were fantastic. Parking is a hike if you don't buy on site - but I guess that is Key West for you.

Simonton Court was a nice place to stay in close walking distance to everything. It felt safe and quiet and the staff were all excellent. We even got an upgrade for my 50th birthday and daily text checking on our needs. The villa we had was very nice but not excellent. The a/c and ceiling fans wouldn't keep up with the heat so at night it was stuffy when going to bed. The floor in the main living space is rotting and needs addressed. The wash clothes are so thin ghat you can literally see straight through. The bathroom vanity lighting is yellow and dim. The shower heads have a lot of build up and spray in every direction. The beds are average to a little firm. By one of the pools there is an ice machine and bottle filler which we used multiple times a day and tasted very good. There is a cat on property that they feed and keep around which is fine if you're a cat person, but if not, it's a little annoying. Overall, I would give the Simonton Court a 8.1 out of 10.
