Wonderful trip. Great hotel but not for those who have issues with stairs unless they ask for one of the first floor rooms or bungalows. Would stay there again. Wish they served food though.

Very nice old looking hotel in Old Key West. Large room fully equipped with kitchenette. The mattress could be better. Very clean and friendly staff.

We had a nice time, though we didn't spend a lot of time at the resort. It's an older hotel being made up of several homes converted to a really nice resort with a pool and beautiful gardens. Our room (2 bedroom) was comfortable, but the bathroom is really small and would have been a challenge with two couples. Would probably be fine for a family of four.

My husband and I stayed with our 2 kids ages 19 and 14. We brought an air mattress and with that we had plenty of room and everyone slept comfortably. The location was great and we enjoyed the pool right outside our room!

This hotel is the most enchanting and beautiful property we have ever stayed at. It’s so serene and peaceful! The staff was pleasant and lovely as well as the cleanliness of the room was impeccable. I highly recommend this hotel! :)

Overall a nice stay. Good pool area that is covered by large trees. Center area has wonderful greenery and landscaping making it pleseant. The balcony doors were unlocked when we checked in and only caught it after we had left which meant someone could have entered even though we locked the front door. Parking was a 10 min walk away for $12/day or so which was much cheaper than the $40/day in the same garage. I would recommend this place. Great location/walking distance to Duval and the harbor.

Absolutely lovely quiet hotel to rest after the hustle & bustle of Key West. The pool was refreshing after walking around Duval St area. The staff are friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Key West!!!

The desk staff were very courteous, polite and helpful. Housekeeping did an excellent job of taking care of our room daily. Bicycle rental for the week was convenient and easy to do through our hotel and the bikes were only a few steps away from our door, waiting on us daily. The pool was very nice, clean, and conveniently only a couple steps away from our room! The courtyard was beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely recommend Island City House to anyone, and will stay there again myself when visiting Key West!

The lovely agent from Poland who did my check-in was exceptional. Room was spacious and very clean. Lots of snacks, coffee pods etc. included. I had a problem with coffee maker on the first morning. it was quickly resolved.

Old town is easily walkable from this hotel. Each room is private and our private veranda was the perfect way to start and end the day. The pool was a nice afternoon break from the heat

We are extremely upset because this hotel was not cheap at all and no notice was given about loud construction right next to our room. It wasn’t expressed anywhere and was not told upon check in. Plus they gave us the room right next to it. Construction starts very early in the morning so we never got to sleep properly on our vacation and to add, the cleaning crew was very loud even earlier. The front desk said they are not allowed to start before 8:30 but we heard lots of banging around at 6am not exaggerating at all and then promptly at 8am was vacuuming and then leaf blower for 30 min straight. Everyone woke up. So no one got sleep and we couldn’t even enjoy the hammock and porch because the construction was so loud. For over $500 we are very upset and will now be warning anyone we know. The front lady said she would refund me but couldn’t since I booked with Expedia. What a vacation

This hotel was amazing. We had a slight check in snafu that was dealt with quickly, and the woman at the front desk was incredibly gracious and helpful the whole time we were there. We loved the ambiance of the hotel and our awesome suite felt like a Victorian apartment. Housekeeping was wonderful too. Great pool surrounded by lush garden, rental bikes, private porch for sitting. The amenities and grounds were incredible. Everything in Key West is expensive so we thought this was a great value compared to other rentals/hotels available. Walkable, safe area close to everything, and close to a (paid) parking lot that was easy for us to leave our rental car and not worry about it. We would come back here in a heartbeat.

We had a great time at the Island City House Hotel. We enjoyed the room. We liked the outside porch with sitting areas. The hotel was close enough to most areas of Key West that we were able to walk. It was quiet. The only complaint we had was the room had a mild musty smell. Also there is no elevator if you are on one of the upper floors. We would return when we go back to Key West

We stayed at the Cigar house and were pleasantly surprised how clean and quiet our room and the whole property was. It was nice to take a dip in the pool after a long day of sightseeing. It was very convenient to be able to rent bikes from the hotel which made it much easier and faster to get around Key West. The Staff was friendly and helpful, when I mentioned our door lock was sticking to our room, they had it fixed by the time we returned that evening, they called and left a message to let me know I needed to pick up the new keys at the office. When we go back to Key West we will definitely try to book with them again. We highly recommended Island House Hotel Cigar house!

This was our second time staying at Island City House hotel. We absolutely love it here! The staff are amazing from the front desk to the housekeepers. The beautiful tropical setting is so serene and relaxing. The pool is awesome after a long day of bopping around Key West or a long night of barhopping. it’s so convenient to have the kitchenette and comfortable to have a living room and porch. We recommend this property very highly to anyone who wants to stay in the heart of Key West!
