L’accueil, l’amabilité et la disponibilité des propriétaires. Le cadre agréable et la belle décoration. L’aménagement de la chambre. Le calme et la propreté. Le bon petit-déjeuner.

The owners are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great quiet location close to the rail station and just around the corner from an inviting square with numerous restaurants (also a laverie). Rooms are comfortable and clean.
Hot water took a long time to arrive on the third floor, up to four minutes of cool water flowing. Seems a waste of water in dry conditions.

Super Lage, sehr netter Empfang.
Frühstück für 12 Euro recht teuer. Alles einzeln in Plastik verpackt.

Geräumiges Zimmer. Alles sehr durchdacht eingerichtet. Schöne Möblierung. Große Kunstdrucke. Extrem ruhig.

Very happy with the coffee made to my specifications. Double espresso, with hot milk on the side.
Shame to have no access to a kettle, to make a hot drink. But there wasn't really space in the room.

We loved the uniqueness of the property. We loved the courtyard for breakfast and afternoon drinks. The owners and staff were very helpful and attentive. They added to our wonderful stay in Avignon.
No lift for luggage

Location is fabulous. Very convenient for all attractions, lovely medieval street.
Room is a bit basic but functional and convenient.
The underground communal parking is very close, but expensive - be prepared to pay 25 Eur per 24 hrs extra on top of the room. The breakfast room patio is lovely - but only available morning and day time. After 7 pm you only have the room access.
The owners are helpful, and given us good local advice.

Great location, good breakfast, very helpful host. Good place to stay, close to all ameneties and attractions. Only tiny problem was very steep circular stairs to rooms on top floor, but if you can manange these, all is well.

The beautiful hotel is in the historic section of Avignon. Although we had to climb many stairs to get to our room, we had expected that. The room was cozy and the view from our window was fantastic. Our host was charming and knowledgable about the town and restaurants.

Great location within the city walls but on a quiet side street. Charming accommodation but, above all, very comfortable. The Patron was friendly and very helpful.

A charming little hotel in a quiet side street close to plenty of restaurants and a short walk from the main sights. Lots of outdoor parking for motorbikes in the surrounding streets. Very warm welcome from the hosts and advice on sightseeing/dining. Excellent value for money. Lovely building and art.

Easy walk from train station (5 mins).
Lovely, helpful owners. Easy after hours access.
Street was narrow but felt safe. Close to many cafes, restaurants and supermarkets.
Room had air conditioning but also an opening window. Large room included couch and desk.
Stunning spiral staircase (to note, no lift).
Nothing.

Very warm welcome. great location in a quiet street but walking distance from major points of interest. we parked our car in the underground parking Jean Jaurès, which avoids having to drive to the centre of town and just walked everywhere.
I also loved the personal touch in the decoration with a great collection of posters from the theater.
The beautiful spiral staircase kept us fit, but keep in mind when you’re less able.
Nice breakfast in the cozy breakfast room.
We were on the top floor in warm weather but the room was kept cool with airco and automated stores on the skylight windows.
As we chose a room on the top floor, the warm water took a long time to reach the shower. Once it did arrive, I had a very pleasant shower so just something to be aware of and prepared for.

The location was good. That was about it. Very close to the train station and most of the major attractions.
The room is too small and the bathroom is tiny. Trying to take a shower in that little stall is quite a challenge. Worst of all is the cost of the room, which is way too high for a tiny room in a 2-star hotel. Had the cost been more reasonable, my disappointment would have been less pronounced.

The little dogs, Bonnie and Berry, are really delightful, and the hosts are doing their best. The hotel and rooms are immaculate and very well maintained. Location is ideal for walking around Avignon. Several large squares with cafes, restaurants, and bars are close by.
Room furniture was not well-laid out, to the extent that it was not easy to relax in the room. We received a message notifying us that the reception desk is closed from noon until 2pm two days after our departure. Consequently, we waited in the lane with our luggage for twenty minutes before the host would open the door. Not a great start to our visit.

Location was good… walking distance to the train, trams buses restaurants nearby
Bed was comfortable
Room was very clean
The couple managing the hotel were very helpful and sweet with information about the train and bus schedules.
The rooms were smaller and bathroom was very small
No elevator so we had to carry luggage up two flights of stairs
Before our arrival we made numerous requests for the after hours access code by email but got no responses until we got a local resident to make a call to the hotel (before 7pm) … we finally got the access code
Reception opens at 8 am and closes at 7pm

I stayed 2 nights at Hotel LeColbert and it was wonderful. Perfect position in a city center, close to a parking place, very clean room and daily room service. We couldn't catch the check in hour, but it wasnt a problem we received necessary instuctions and we have entered without any problem. Hotel owner is a very nice gentleman, sympathic , nice to chat and also helpful. He made us feel like home.
There is nothing that I didnt love :)

We enjoyed our short stay at the Hotel Colbert. We had a bit of difficulty locating the nearby underground parking, and so we almost missed the 8 p.m. deadline for the front desk, but the host was ready to provide us with a code to get in if that had happened. There is a nice garden just opposite the hotel, which is located in a quiet street. The street on one side has many nice little restaurants, and there is a lively Irish pub on the other side. The breakfast - not included- was a typical French spread. The hostess was very kind.
No elevator, so bags must be carried up and down a winding staircase. Good to keep in mind when packing. It's about 1.5 kilometres from the famous bridge and/or the Dom with its amazing view.

Proximity to the train
Terrible internet server and connection
Would not want to be working there
Also no elevator. Steep spiral staircase.

Quiet place. Close to the train Central station, close to the center of Avignon.
Very friendly personal. Nice accomodated rooms.
For those with "heavy" laguages - no lift, only stairs (it makes the hotel more familiar). And hotel has a 3 floors.

Friendly helpful staff, comfortable bed, easy access to sites and train station.
No coffee/ tea in room, no fridge.

Lovely hotel in a nice position to visit Avignon, right inside the walls and near to a public parking. It's not too far off the interesting stuff nor too close, so it's in a quiet area. The staff was very nice and the hotel cozy. The breakfast was also good, my only advice would be to keep some caffeine free alternative for people like me who has autoimmune diseases or neural dysfunctions, as even decaf can be contaminated with caffeine if made with the same machine. Instant barley coffee or single-dose instant decaf could be good options. In general I've had problems finding caffeine free options in France. In the end I've had tea with milk (which I like a lot) which my body can handle to a certain extent, so the breakfast was still good and satisfying :)
