Wonderful tasteful impeccably clean rooms and public spaces with a mostly very professional staff, the pleasure in this hotel is the thoughtful touches in each room. Having said this, while soundproofing of windows to outside streets (very busy and active at night) is pretty good, soundproofing to hallways and next door rooms is abysmal and it was not possible to get staff to implement some measure of sound control for totally out of control party rooms. This meant zero sleep in a beautiful room.

The Merchant Baku organized a smooth airport pick-up which put us at ease at the start. At the reception, the personable Mr. Pervez made the usual processes effortless. The location of the hotel was great and our room was comfortable. The Dining area Supervisor, Mr. Nahid was an excellent host and took care of our choices while Mr. Akbar provided prompt service. Although our trip was short, we had a lovely holiday, all thanks to the hotel staff who made it possible. We look forward to our next trip to Baku!

I was looking forward to staying at the hotel and really wanted to score it high but the service was really disappointing. It's a beautiful boutique hotel in a perfect location next to the old town and buzzy area of bars and restaurants. I really enjoyed my stay there. The problem was that when i was trying to call the hotel, the call didn't go through, then when it did it said the call transfer failed and when I got to talk to reservations, the lady told me couldn't transfer the call as she had no such option and I needed to call again. With the 10th attempt, I gave up. We called room service three times on different occassions. Only once they brought what we asked for. The other two times no one bothered and when we called the reception to tell them that nothing had arrived and we were going to sleep they said they were sorry without any attempt to actually chase to deliver what we asked for. We also checked breakfast started at 7am, whereas the guy at the reception insisted it started at 7.30 and then told me to go the bar to check, I told him that he should go and confirm and not sending the guest to sort it out. The service was really disappointing. The only competent person was the bar manager who always greeted us with a smile and ensured we were ok. Long wait for a coffee at breakfast too. I would say, more smiling, more thinking about the guest would help. It's a great hotel as a building though. Very small gym.

Very beautiful boutique hotel located in the heart of Baku. Staff was friendly and professional, comfortable room, sparkling clean! Only small comment - it could be nice to improve the breakfast, bread and cake were dry and disappointing. All the rest was fresh and tasty.

Central location with dining options, Hygiene procedure was a very high, friendly and cooperative staff, especially Mr. Mushfiq, I would strongly recommend this hotel.As per my travel experience, I would say Baku is underrated as a travel destination, and it's the best city to visit in the Caucasus region.

This hotel is amazing. It is trendy, comfortable, has spacious rooms, lovely balconies, yummy breakfast, and amazing staff. The location is perfect for getting to Old Town, the Carpet Museum, and many other locales without needing a taxi. The front desk coordinated on-sight COVID tests for our group and organized a wonderful day trip with an amazing guide. We enjoyed the bar and lounge at night and the helpful service all around. We will come back!!

From the moment we arrived until the timevwe left, the staff were so friendly and couldnt do enough to help. Thats from eception staff to bar staff to cleanrs. Wonderful service. The twin room was very large with a table and chairs. Extra large tv. Tea and coffee avaliable. Fridge empty but proabaly because of covid restrictions. Bathroom very clean with separate WC enclosure, large shower cubicle and best stocked bathroom for the traveller who had forgotten anything. Clean fresh towels , bathrobes, slippers, toothbrushes, combs, shaving kits, shower caps, shampoo shower gel. Top notch throughout stay. Magnificent hotel for thevprice. Highly recommended. Good location for the Old Town and nearby shopping area. Ovrall probably on poer with the best hotels I have ever stayed in

This is a great property and I highly recommend it. It is on par with a very, very nice boutique hotel experience in either the US or Western Europe. The rooms were (I think probably on par or nicer than the 21C Museum Hotels in the US, as an example). extremely clean and tastefully decorated (really high quality furnishing and stylish at that), the help was great when I needed service, the lounge area where food is served was quite stylish and yet historical. Do note that breakfast is not a buffet: it is made to order, and sometimes is not immediate and only starts at 7:30 a.m., so not great if you have early morning obligations (drawback). I also noticed that with both of the rooms I stayed in, the rainfall shower head always had one tiny spot that gave cold water. The location is fantastic, just blocks from Fountain Square. I didn't use either the bar or food service besides breakfast or the spa or gym. I have also stayed at one of the other elite chain hotels in Baku (with one of the flagship buildings we all know) and I would say that this experience compared was comparable. It is a great value! Only other drawback: some noisier guests might be possible, but little street noise (and it is in a popular area, so well insulated from outside).

Brand new and in a great location (next to the old town). Friendly staff who are ready to help at any time! Thank you for making our vacation carefree! Comfortable and spacious lobby bar with a large menu. There's a cozy terrace with access to the next street. Two breakfast options (local and continental). Both are delicious)). The hotel you want to come back to.
