Advertisement said free breakfast, No Breakfast, pool was closed, ice machine and elevator were both out of order. Nothing to transport luggage. I would not recommend or stay here again!

The building was a bit run down. Elevators were broken, pool was closed, signage was a bit confusing. Also, check-in was done through a video kiosk despite the human next to it.

This property should be shut down immediately!!! My sink fell in out of no where and you can tell it was just glued on, there elevator was out of order due to it being completely no working staff so you have to take the stairs which are a lot and I’m handicapped and have asthma and I had to use my inhaler, check in also took a hour because your speaking to someone threw a computer machine via video chat and they laugh at your frustrations extremely unprofessional and can’t really understand English that well, the show was also broken water wouldn’t even go down, and absolutely no Wi-Fi or phone signal is available, this was the absolute worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at and I’ll never do it again the pictures are just a illusion, this is a terrible hotel and they put their guest in horrible situations and don’t even care.

The lobby was not staffed. There was a kiosk where you spoke through a zoom-like device to a rep. It was hard to communicate due to the echo from the lobby, so I couldn't really understand what she was asking. The pool and gym was closed off. I'm guessing it was due to the fact that no one was there. The rooms themselves were clean and freshly renovated. That was a pleasant surprise. Much nicer than expected.

All in all I was pleasantly surprised. We were in Rockford for a soccer tournament and all the hotels were full, so I found this motel had availability and got a room not expecting too much. The room was clean, spacious and updated (don’t be fooled by the exterior). I read reviews that the soundproofing wasn’t too good- but we didn’t hear anything and slept through the night. I never used a kiosk check in before, but it was easy to use. Upon check out I met the General Manager and he was vey nice, asking about my stay and wanted to know if there was anything they could improve. Like I said, I was pleasantly surprised- our biggest “want” was a clean room, and we had that!

Rooms were clean but you could smell the foods people were cooking in the hallways. It seemed more like an apartment. Beds were comfortable and building was not noisy.

Elevator didn’t work. Person checking you in was on a kiosk probably not even on site. Didn’t give direction where room was. Room did not look like picture. Room was ok it was clean. Hallway was not one door was barricaded. When heater turned on the room smelled. Hallway smelled. Could hear the rooms around me.

Older building, but modern decor. Check-in was with a kiosk and a video two-way link. The kiosk spits out your receipt and room keys.
Had to go back to the kiosk when room had no TV remote. Manager came by shortly to replace. Offered to replace other AC remote that didn’t work but I didn’t need to.
Plenty of parking. Location solid. Right next to Rockford University and plenty of chain restaurants.

I had problem with luggage bringing to the room with no help because they are not allowed to lift. Housekeeping done a poor job did not even clean the room only changed towels and bedding did no vacuum or clean the bathroom. Hair all over the tub and floor.

The check in was the worst part. Check in is done thru a kiosk and not user friendly. Very hard to understand individuals thru kiosk. Would love to see someone at the front desk instead of kiosk. Rooms are clean and spacious!

Lots of people live in the motel and are loud all night! The whole place smells like drugs!!

I had to get a new room key everyday. The key would work to get in the building but not to get in the room. The elevator was down. Both ice machines had notes stating out of order. On the 3rd night when I had to get my 3rd key there were 2 families that had paid for rooms and there were no rooms available for them than the manager/kiosk stated they couldn't get their money back right away.

The property has/is being remodeled. Very well done. The staff at the front “desk” are super friendly and very helpful. The kiosk electronic check in with the host in some other location (hint - India). Is flat out horrendous. Can not understand. Cannot always hear. Couldn’t find our Travelocity reservation. So offered to check us in for $15 more than our online reservation. Could t even accomplish that w the kiosk check in. Finally got a room after 20
Min but still not checked in. Concerned what the rate will be and refund from Travelocity.
Again. The humans in the room were very helpful. The person in the video screen was totally useless.

They use a kiosk to check in. It is not a good experience- 2 managers pounded on my door at midnight demanding money for the room. They were rude and screaming at me. Then demanded I pay for the room with cash. I told them I have a card and they said the internet wasn’t working. One screamed at me
and walked off. I gave the other my expedia confirmation. The one that walked off said the kiosk just has some glitches. I told him that waking me and my daughter up at midnight- twice pounding on the door, screaming at me and demanding cash is a pretty big glitch. One of my top 5 worse hotel experiences.

It was very awkward to walk into a hotel and you have to talk to a screen didn’t make myself feel comfortable. I didn’t feel safe. My first response was to walk out the door. When you needed something from the front desk, I called because my TV wasn’t working. Had to call three times no one came. Obviously there was no one very uncomfortable.

My daughters tournament time changed so we needed a 2 night stay and all other hotels were booked in the area. Check in was fine. Employee was nice. BUT the entire motel is in shambles and ranks like weed and cigarettes. Bed was horribly uncomfortable and towels and blanket were stained. The next morning we were locked out of our room (key card wasn't working) and after over 10 mins between several phone unanswered calls to front desk, walking (outside) to be locked out of the lobby where the check in desk is and knocking and ringing their RING doorbell someone finally opened the door and clearly didn't want to be disturbed. After considering leaving several times already, we packed our bags and left right after we got back in. I had to travel a little farther and pay a lot more than I should have for our new room but it was worth a nicer place & nice bed. Lesson learned.

This is not a “Studio 6”, this is a Motel 6. We booked online, showed up, and my family and I hit the road to find another hotel.

The room was somewhat clean but everything else was dirty and beat up. The elevator was dirty there was only one ice machine.
