I loved this hotel- it was clean, stylish, lovely room and bathroom and great staff, wonderful breakfast and incredible views of Table Mountain. My only complaint is that it was quite noisy in my room which faced the street. Very much recommended but with earplugs!

Highly recommend, staff were fantastic

Overall great experience. Not the top of the top, but very nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is really good. Room a modern and clean with all the facilities. The only thing that I didn’t liked was the location, far away from the mainly attractions ( V&A waterfront, beaches etc). If you like to walk you will be fine but if you don’t, you’re gonna need to take a lot of Ubers.

The place is honestly in a fabulous location. Kloof street has so much going on any day of the week and it's nice and easy to get to the waterfront.
The rooms are what you need them to be and the bed was actually incredible, such a good nights sleep. If you can get a room with a Table mount view... do it.

Hotel is lovely with very friendly and helpful staff. We had a lovely view of Table mountain and you can enjoy a nice drink by the pool with the backdrop being Table mountain.

Great hotel - little on the noisy side but that's a result of location.

Absolutely lovely and wish we stayed longer. We stayed in the pod as was only one night. But next trip we will get a bigger room and stay longer. Area was fantastic

Good clean hotel in the middle of Garden. Perfect location and nice rooms. Only minus point is that it is in a vibrant part of town, so music can keep you from falling asleep.

Can’t believe they don’t have iron in the rooms

Very well located hotel that allows people to experience the Cape Town designed for locals and not just tourists. Still close to major hotels like the Mount Nelson but the flavour of real Cape Town with an abundance of great restaurants and bars.
The hotel was very modern with large rooms, staff were excellent during all my interactions with them (Gabriel was very polite, helpful and always has a warm welcome). Great views of the mountain and a good pool deck.

I had a very comfortable stay at KSH. Pro's and con's summarised:
Pros
- Incredible location (really in the middle of everything you need on kloof street (from bars, to restaurants and groceries).
- Staff were really helpful and friendly at all times and all levels
- Beds were high quality and very comfortable
Cons
- Some areas of the hotel, such as hallways, seem run-down, while inside the rooms are better. This gives a dodgy impression of the hotel at times when it is really better than that.
- Can be noisy over the weekend given the close proximity to bars like La Parada and Tigers Milk who have loud sound systems playing music until 12-2am
2.5
What a truly lovely hotel a nice find will definitely return. Staff all were excellent so friendly and helpful. Room I stayed in a Pod was small but fabulous views I sat most days and nights watching the mountain change colours i eat four times in restaurant which was also nice. My openly criticism would be more loungers round the pool.

Overall a great experience. Only thing that was a little annoying was having a problem getting hand towels and wash clothes. Venture to far down to long street and you run into a lot of pot shops. Nothing dangerous other than a few people begging for money. They seem harmless.

A few things that could’ve been explained better up front.
The bar fridge is locked until a R500 deposit is provided.
The secure parking that is charged at R100 per day is locked at 23h00 and unlocked at 05h00, you cannot leave or return during these hours.
The ‘city view’ pod that we were assigned had a window that looked straight onto a metal staircase. When querying the lack of city view we were told we could get a better view but had to pay in more.
Heavy bass started at 15h00 and continued until 23h00.
There are smaller issues that aren’t worth noting, safe to say I won’t be rushing back.

Beautiful hotel, the staff was extremely helpful and went out of their way for me. I love the view from the hotel and the restaurant was really lovely.

for 4 start hotel the roomsize was not acceptable. even the sink in the bathroom has a size of a toilette. The price / performance is not at all comparable to other hotels we experienced in Capetown.

It was a beautiful hotel in a good location, had a mishap and the staff members were very attentive to ensure my stay was pleasant. The area feels safe and the hotel has good staff members. The rooms are also big and look exactly like the images online.

I like the services.

Kloof Street Hotel is a perfect base for exploring Cape Town, Dining options on Kloof and including the Sanctuary restaurant at the hotel are first class. Long street is within 5 mins walk and for Uber - i never had to wait more then 3-4 mins for pickup. Staff are friendly and helpful and hotel facilities are first class. i pent 10 very happy days here may/jun 2022 and cant wait until my next trip

This was the most expensive hotel we paid for on our two week trip. At $150 a night in a country where you can get a palace for $100 I had very high expectations. Pros: location, service, cleanliness; Cons: uncomfortable beds, bare rooms (no art or anything on the walls just concrete), no plugs in the bathroom, additional fee for parking (nowhere else did this), only a marginal late check out upon request, no hand soap in the bathroom, expensive. I wish the stay was more comfortable because the location is PERFECT. Unfortunately I’ll need to find another hotel nearby in the future. We had the luxury suite.

Stayed for just one night, but really enjoyed the stay. Hotel is really nicely decorated, very modern. We had dinner in the restaurant which was enjoyable and reasonably priced. Didn’t make use of the pool but the view of table mountain is lovely.
View from room was of fire escape stairs, but not there long enough for it to be an issue.

This hotel was a great location for everything in Cape Town.
It was clean, food good, the roof terrace with pool was the icing on the cake.
I was in a pod room apparently 306, seemed perfectly normal size room tbh.
Staff were super friendly & helpful & shoutout to Micha the porter, he was a lovely helpful friendly guy too.
Book this hotel, you won’t regret it.

We stayed here for our honeymoon. Great hotel, spectacular views of Table Mountain. Really big bedrooms. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. Great food. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Everything stunk from the device to the smell in the elevator, smelly hallway, and very dim room. They wanted to charge for EVERYTHING. They advertised 49 but charged extra for having a guest, they wanted to charge extra for scooter I had I told the agent HELL NO!!!!! Never again for this place the hostel I stayed in was so much better. I will STAY AWAY

The hotel is in a good location, lots of food options within walking distance. Safe area also!
The staff are friendly.
Some of the downsides - charges for breakfast to your room. Leaky shower. House keeping are not that thorough, sheets were not changed during my week long stay.
2.5
Bed is not compliant for elder people (bed with 2 sides to get into it). Besides this, the bathroom was excellent and service too.

Hotel is basic but with a little bit of extra design that makes it a little more homey. Perfectly all right for the price.

Really like this Hotel. Staff are awesome and very accomadating. The hotels location makes it easy to walk to many restaurants n bars in the neighborhood. The rooftop pool slash bar service makes it even more fun. Have stayed here multiple times when visting cpt. Love this neighborhood. Enjoy.

Overall the staff was very nice but didn’t give me all the necessary information about the hotel and the services that were being provided for me with my stay. It was frustrating with the following:
-I was asked to pay for my entire stay when I checked in. However, when I was checking out I was notified that I only paid for one night (and not my two nights) and wasn’t notified until the last moment that breakfast had been included with my stay.
-The coffee machine, hot water boiler and refrigerator in my room were non-operational.
-The floor of the room was very dusty.
-I was located on the ground floor near the center of the hallway. Music from the hallway was quite loud from 4pm in the main lobby and it was quite frustrating.
