Lovely hotel. Limited breakfast but it was offered. Had parking and could walk the area.

What an amazing hotel and super friendly staff. The room as gorgeous as was the bar and all parts of the hotel. We had a night cap in the bar and there were traditional Irish musicians which was fantastic. The bar man was very knowledgeable about the whiskies. Breakfast was superb too - possibly the best porridge I’ve ever had. If you’re even visiting Kenmare I would highly recommend the Lansdowne. An outstanding hotel!

When we arrived the place semed deserted and it took a while to find someone to check us in. Once they arrived the staff and management were very helpful. The hotel relatively recently redwcorated somewhat lacks atmosphere and the rooms are very minimalist... not our usual SLH experience byt enjoyable all the same. Good food and service.

Lovely, upscale experience in a charming older building. Comfortable bed, good coffee in the room and very nice restaurant

I cannot recommend this gem of a hotel enough. The service was excellent, there was live music every night, our room was luxurious and spacious. All right in the middle of town. Loved it.

Lovely stylish hotel - friendly staff - right in centre of town but not noisy

Lovely place to stay in a great location Comfy beds!

The property manager was super sweet!!!! We were told that we’ll have to wait 20 minutes for our room to be ready so for that we got a free drink! 20 minutes! That is nothing! In the end, we waited maybe only 10 minutes and the staff was so kind they brought our heavy luggage upstairs for us and did not want a tip! We felt that they treated us like royalty! Our room was spacious and clean. What more could we ask for!

Modern property with a great location. Really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is lovely! Very quaint and charming. The staff is excellent. The reception staff went out of their way to make my stay pleasant - and they were so helpful. The food at the hotel is excellent as well. There are two restaurants available- and 5at are both very relaxing and food is good at either one. The bus stops right across the street and it is a short walk to the pier where you can get a boat tour. There is a lot to see and do here!

Great hotel with outstanding staff.

Lovely stay at the Lansdowne Kenmore. Hotel was centrally placed, parking was a little crowded, but we figured it out. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and accommodating.

This hotel has a fabulous staff -- folks just waiting to help answer questions, provide suggestions for things to do or places to eat, give directions, etc. The location is good - close enough to all the action in Kenmare but on the edge of town so it's quiet as well. I would highly recommend this facility.

Lovely hotel, recently renovated to modern design. Very clean and a brilliant stay in the centre of Kenmare.

The newly renovated Lansdowne hotel was fantastic. The standard of decor in the rooms was luxurious with lovely linen, coffee pods and Netflix available - the triple glazing meant it was very warm. The on site bar was quiet, clean and contemporary. The hotel car park was full but public 2hr public parking was perfect. It’s overall good value for money - the renovation is exceptional but the building is old and there was too much noise transfer from the room upstairs, I’m a light sleeper and didn’t have a great sleep

We booked before the refurbishment was complete on the basis that it was a 'sister hotel' to The Park, and was being fully refurbished. However, it turned out that the refurbishment was only partial. The cafe and restaurant looked lovely, but we did not get to use them due to covid. Our room had been partially refurbished, but not to the standard of the public areas. The bedroom was large and the bed was comfortable, but judging by the style of the new furniture chosen, the interior designer lost the argument with the accountants. It all felt a bit cheap. The bathroom, tv, and door locks had not been changed and the ceiling had a dated textured pattern. The overall effect was bland and lacking in any style. In terms of bathroom amenities, there was one small bar of soap and some unidentified something in the type of soap dispenser you would typically find in a gym shower provided in the bathroom. No shampoo, conditioner or body lotion. There was also no air conditioning in the room - something to be aware of as the windows at the front open onto the street and it was very stuffy. There were seats on the street outside the cafe, but we ate elsewhere as there were no healthy options, just cakes and pancakes etc. All the above would have been fine at a cheaper, more appropriate rate, however for the price we paid we expected more. Overall it felt less 'sister' and more 'tightfisted sister-in-law' to the Park.
