We initially got to our house and the heat was not working. It was 43 degrees inside. Guest services was closed (although it was during business hours) but the restaurant helped get ahold of someone for us who gave us a baseboard heater. After returning from dinner the house was 42 degrees and no heaters were working. We waited another 30 minutes for hekp to arrive. They placed us in the house next door. A few hours later people put the code i to our lock and were trying to open the door (luckily we had the bolt on). They had the correct code because they were booked for that house. We were NEVER avle to get ahold of guest services during our stay or after. We are trying different abgles to get a refund as we didnt feel safe and left early.

We enjoyed our stay. Hot tubs were dirty, we would not use them. It is a cute concept, tiny homes, it is a shame that the grounds of the entire area wasnt kept up. The enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant.

The property was nice. However there was no communication with the office until the day I checked out. No one was ever in the office. The restaurant and bar were closed the entire time of my stay. One out of the three hot tubs worked. You also could not use the fire pit table as there was no propane. The property was very nice and clean though. Perfect location.

We stayed here with our dog and we all loved this place . Very quiet, comfortable and there are lots of things to do at the property. Staff are very friendly and nice. Definitely will come back again.

What a great place to stay. Our container home was very roomy. It was very clean and had all the comforts of home. Nice size refrigerator microwave' coffee pot, paper products, disposable utensils all provided. Bed and sofa werevery comfortable. The outaide area was super nice and for $30 they come hook up your gas firepit. Which is totally worth it. There is a restaurant on site, we didnt eat there but it appeared to be very busy. We cant wait to stay there again. It is our underatanding it is under new management and they are doing everything possible to make updates. Give it a try!0

Great tiny home experience. I wished I was told to bring my own gas for the fire pit, couldn’t use it bc there was no gas. I also couldn’t make coffee because the filter was never cleaned and full of mold. Besides those two things I enjoyed myself

Really wanted to love it. Booked as a solo 2 night trip.
They want $35 to check in early at 2 rather than 3 so I just sat outside the empty, ready to go cabin until 3pm to avoid having to pay more money than I already had. Once I brought my bags in, I realized the AC unit was off, giving an error. They reset it 20 min later, worked for 3 mins and died again. I was put in another cabin 25 mins after that, which was half the size of the one I booked prompting me to check the prices. Sure enough, the replacement cabin was $120 cheaper than what I paid for and this was not mentioned to me. It was also directly along the street, whereas my other cabin was further in away from the traffic noise. When I called to ask for the refunded difference, I was told it’ll automatically be credited back to me through Expedia so hoping that happens.
When I returned later that night I realized my bed wasn’t even finished yet, with nothing but a bottom sheet on it. By this time, no one was available to call. Thank GOD I had an emergency blanket in the car, because I would’ve had to sleep with the bath towels.
The blinds did not close all the way, forcing me to change/shower with the lights off and a dimmed flash light because as a solo female it was uncomfortable knowing anyone from the street or other cabins could see into mine. Long black hairs in the shower/toilet, crumbs/stains on sink.
Cherry on top, I ate half a raw omelette @ their brunch before seeing it was raw.

Liked the serenity of the area, lots of nature to explore. Staff friendly and tentative to address and resolve any concerns you may have. Saunas and gym were a plus.

My boyfriend and I just got home from a fantastic weekend getaway in Jim Thorpe/Poconos. We stayed at what I would consider the greatest campground I've ever been to, honestly better then any place I've stayed at. Camptel Poconos Glamping Resort and the managers are the freaking best. The camp ground itself are storage containers turned into cabins set up on your lot with covered seating, grill, propane fire pit. Our cabin, Thor, had a porch and balcony off the back, inside was a living room with a pullout sofa, kitchenette, bathroom with shower, and a queen size bed in its bedroom. Everything was just the right size for the two of us and never in each other's way. It was nothing less of perfection. In the common areas of the campsite is a huge fire pit surrounded by chairs, a few games, gym, and hot tubs. Even with all the rain we were able to roast a couple marshmallows 😋 and enjoy everyone's company.
We lost power the first night and the managers came around to check on us, offering anything we would need to be comfortable during the outage. Also, which was beyond expected, came and picked us up from the concert venue when we couldn't find an uber or lyft!!!
There is no doubt in my mind we will be back!!!! Thank you Camptel for such an amazing weekend 💕

Camptel is the kind of place you want to tell everyone about, and you also want to keep it a secret. Such a great glamping experience. Containers are decorated inside beautifully. All the comforts of home. Each site has its own BBQ grill and firepit. There is a fee for propane for firepit, so worth it. There are 3 hot tubs that are also in private containers as well as a zen zone amd gym . There is a beautiful community fire pit area. Also horseshoes, cornhole, bocce and a giant chess set. There is also a bounce house for the kids. Just a fantastic experience. Close to Penns Peak, Jim Thorpe and white water rafting and ski resorts. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a nice time at Camptel. Our trailer was super cute and clean. Our kids loved their loft bed area. Overall the accommodations were great and we liked the amenities including the hot tub and bouncy slide. We were, however, disappointed that the restaurant was not open and we weren’t warned that it wouldn’t be open because we didn’t bring any food with us and had to leave to go to the Dollar General to get some basics. We also thought the price was high considering it wasn’t a busy weekend. I’d recommend this to people who will be nearby and won’t mind that there is no swimming/body of water on the property.

Everything was so cute and quaint. I’ve never been camping or glamping before. I didn’t expect a TV at all, but then was disappointed that it didn’t really work. It wasn’t connected to the Wi-Fi and it wouldn’t stay connected once I figured out how. So because of that, I was disappointed. I also didn’t realize that there was a way to choose what kind of tiny home you stayed in - if you wanted a big or small one, or with a coal grill, etc. again, nothing that was so horrible, just didn’t know about it. Now that I know, I will come better prepared the next time. We WILL be returning - we loved it!

This place is so nice, i didn't want to leave. the tiny home i was staying in was brand new, very clean, comfortable. it still needed some details to be added like for example a light outside to be able to sit at night because it was very dark. each unit should have its own grill instead if having all grills in one area, some of the grills were not working properly. The restaurant is not operating so we bad to drive around to look for places to Eat and drink. People that work at camptel are so nice and kind. The place needs to work on adding activities for the guests to do during the night. I would definitely come back.

Stayed for 3 nights in Raccoon Crossing. It was a comfortable stay perfect for 2 people AC, shower with hot water and tv but still can hang outside by the fire and bbq dinner and all the good camping things. Loved the location as it lies next to the state park.

Loved this place! Very clever theming of the different renovated containers. Such a great place with a lot of whimsy!

It was a fairly pleasant stay overall. The room has a descent size for a couple and has all we need. We really like the fact that there is a kitchen. The campsite is also nicely decorated and well maintained. It would be great if a comforter could be provided, rather than a light quilt + a blanket. It was really cold at night and in the early morning in the woods. Small things in the room need maintenance, e.g., the toilet bowl in our bathroom was not really sturdy. Otherwise, it was a wonderful experience for us. Would be happy to go back again.

Pros: Great staffs. Amazing food at the on site restaurant. Sound-proof unit. Nice beds. Clean rooms. Each unit had a A/C and TV. No loud music. Fire pit in the common area. Big chess. Bouncy slide. Hot tub. Gym and Sauna. More grills in common area. Close to Hawk falls.
Cons: BBQ grills is NOT fixed to the ground. It can easily fall. It’s not safe. Had a hard time to unlock the door with the passcode. Water pressure was unstable sometimes. Not for star gazing. Too bright.

We were extremely happy with our choice. Dave and staff were friendly and accommodating. The time homes were clean and comfy. We booked We Are, but moved become my hubby just had a hip replaced and Dave felt he needed a handicap accessible tiny home and it worked out much better! Highly recommend!

Booked Big Ed for a weekend and we loved the accomodations. Very comfortable, modern and cozy.
We arrived after 4pm and was given the info to check in virtually.
Things I think are worth a mention:
1) There are lots of cats outside. They didnt bother much but if you are outside eating expect their companionship. Took all of me not to feed them because I suppose thats what they stick around.
2) we are city folks and have never used propane fire pits before. We assumed the tank was empty so we text the manager Dave. He arrived without a response which is perfectly fine. However, his demeanor was very unfriendly and somewhat aggressive. He spoke to us like we were idiots so that was unappreciated. Glad we only needed to contact him that one time.
3) the grille restaurant on site was verg cute and fun. Staff was very friendly and drinks were.good. Sadly, my husbands chicken came out raw. I mean red in the middle. We were quite surprised since everything had been good. We just assumed it was a one off incident and didnt make much of it. However I do think we shouldnt have been charged for it but it was what it was.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider returning.

Great place to stay with my Son I did not give it a five star rating because the propane tank was empty for the outdoor gas fireplace and the cost of breakfast was extremely high

It was a fun trip! No hot water! Called the number provided and no answer and mail box was full. Day before we were leaving we ran into maintenance guys. They were very much aware of the no hot water problem. Well, do something about it if you want people to come back. There were cats crying all night. The restaurant was closed while we were there. Say that in your advertisement. It’s a cute idea but more thought needs to go into it!
