Very disappointed with Neuchâtel City Hote. It was a room and a bed. NO Air conditioning, No refrigerator, No Iron, No hair dryer, No Coffee, and No daily room service, and your room door is open to the main hallway. Very weird Hotel. I couldn't stay there. I asked for a refund but have been declined. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody. Not worth your money. My losst is your gain.

Property is ok . But rooms are pathetic. No cups, no kettle or any fan for ventilation. It was very warm outside.Check in at 4 pm is real spoil sport .

The hotel is very conveniently located near the train station but also not from the city center and the lake. We had a big room which we enjoyed. There was a balcony which we used though it faced a busy street. The rug in the room was dirty in some places, which is something we had not expected. But overall, a nice stay.

Looks old inside, but quite ok for a few nights. Fridge is not installed, but it was ok for us. We had foods kept in balcony, and we brought only food for each day. Staffs are kind and helpful. Location is perfect. 7 min walk to station, port, old city.

Location and staff very good. Everything so close but hotel try to charge you everything like, cleaning, extra hour if you can not check out at 11 and there is no fridge, no iron, no water bottle. Nothing if free. They try to ripe you off for everything.

One night at Neuchatel to explore. Hotel very welcoming but room contained a frustrating coffee machine that refused to work properly... probably 'user error'! The bar downstairs was a very suitable fallback.

Better than we expected based on other reviews, comfortable and clean which is all we were really looking for at this price point; good value for Neuchâtel. Couple of annoyances: although the room has an espresso maker, you have to pay 1- CHF per coffee capsule (not mentioned on the property/room details) which I’ve never seen before in a hotel. Also the hairdryer in the bathroom didn’t work.

I had to pay in the day of check in, while i normally pay at check out. A receipt or ticket were not available in €. The room was spartan but the toilet was freshly renewed.

Room spacious and clear, not AC but was very comfy Breakfast is apart but price is fair. Staff is super, they do any thing to make your stay happy. Very close from the train station and stop buses are just few steps from the hotel. Also you can walk to downtown and take a nice boat ride. Nice town and hotel.

This hotel is extremely clean with friendly and efficient service. It's conveniently located close to major points of interest and transport links (5 minutes from the train station and the city centre). A great feature was the bathtub - a nice touch in any hotel room. The bed was big and comfortable, perfect for a good night's sleep. The room was spacious, adding to the overall comfort. One downside was the slight noise you can hear from the floor, but it wasn't a major issue. Room service is provided every day. Overall, this is a solid hotel option for both business and leisure travel.

Thank you for an amazing stay. The staff were great and honestly made our stay so pleasant. The hotel room was very spacious and Clean. The hotel is within walking distance to all the gems in Neuchatel so glad we stayed here and will most likely stay here again when I next visit.

The hotel was convenient, and the staff were great but there weren't enough meaning that every morning I had to clear a table myself for breakfast, and there was very little food left for breakfast (I paid 15, for an apple!) - for no other reason than the staff member was also on reception and dealing with people arriving to run events etc.

The hotel is centrally located and the room was clean. The balcony was a huge extra since I am a smoker. The room is very very spacious for this price. If you have large luggages, this is the hotel you should choose. Drinks in the mini bar were unexpectedly included in the room price. I really appreciate that.
