It was surprisingly better than anticipated. It's basically got a motel vibe but without the itchy brownish red throws and sheets that have that not clean but not sorry texture to them....when I say it had a motel-ish vibe I'm referring to the front desk being behind glass protection box which I'm not making a good or bad notion of that. It was just what it is...what's amazing about this place is it has the PROs of staying Motel over a hotel with a 100-200 dollars you may not see again until 15-30 days later.
Let me summeriaze. This location was the dark horse and surprised me how comfy, modern, and cozy I felt staying here. The sound of the train running below the view of our room was quite perfect amount of background noise at a oddly calming sound level. I had a sense of comfort and nostalgia as it would patter across the track ever so soft and only every 45 minutes sometimes hr 30 minutes in the earlier hours nearing sunrise....since my 1 night stay here I always look to see their availability whenever nearby. My favorite new hidden eacape....this is it.
It is what it is but it has something unique and special you need to experience yourself to grasp my rambling words. Don't forget you TV remote at reception desk ( it's not in the room, they give it to you downstairs from the ice hockey team Bronx 365 motel..I mean Hotel players box). This place is Fresh un-cookie cutter experience. Just check it out so you understand. Thank me later.

The free parking promise is limited to the first 10 cars that arrive since there is VERY limited space behind the hotel to park vehicles. After they are filled, you are on your own. Lots of trash and debris in the alley and parking lot that gives a trashy/dirty vibe. Towels in the room were very thread bare and small and thermostat was impossible to set. There is no comforter on the bed, only a sheet and a think cover so we were cold all night. The language barrier with the front desk made complaining or asking for assistance a challenge. Room was clean and the room had a very European vibe.

My most issues:
1- the entire hotel smells like smoke
We changed two rooms that smell like smoke and the receptionist made it sound that this is actually normal that rooms smell like someone smoked 5 minutes ago there
Bathrooms sink not draining
Toilet handle to flush was also broken

The first room we were given had several issues. TV did not work, toilet handle was broken and sink spout was loose. We were issued a second room. As i was getting out of the shower i saw a mouse run across the room and go under the bed. we checked out just after midnight and made the four hour drive home.

The area is a bit shady the parking situation is a little risky not saying break in the lot was small and tight, but we were ok. The room was very clean.

While the room and bathroom was perfect to my liking, outside wasn't too clean...dog feces everywhere but I don't think it's the establishment's fault... overall I had a great stay 👍

DO NOT BRING CHILDREN HERE. What’s going on next door could be heard by the entire floor. Worst experience ever.

There was no parking also there was a homeless guy that lives in the back of the building

The people at the front desk were not rude and did not hesitate to go and verify a concern with the ac unit in the room. But the overall aesthetic could use more of a revamp for the price that was paid and safer surroundings. Especially more lighting in the parking area.

A great change from a typical motel aspect and vibe like a hotel. with the comfort and of being discreet, the staff chill and courteous that only comes with respect. One thing at times elevator slow which lead to waiting at times with stranger which at first can be annoying and alarming.which is not the Case 9/10. I can personal I truly been up lifted and done same staff and other people. Still be ware there are always creeps everywhere , even tho they done last past a night so you good and if work on pc in room and network there chill just like said just don't go overboard(you can't make noise don't be obnoxious

The bathroom was nice. The room was cramped with nothing to hang a coat or anything. The view was a roof top midway to the top of the building. This is a short stay motel and is overpriced. There’s an insecure lot that can accommodate about 8 cars. It needs to be cleaned up and anyone can go there and burglarize your car. No surveillance cameras and one person doing intake in a booth.

Plan on paying for parking in a garage. On our check in day desk staff was rude and very unhelpful. We brought a box fan and it did not drown out the doors slamming and people basically screaming and having fun at 3am and again at 4am. Very noisy room so unless you are a heavy sleeper do not plan on sleeping. Thankful for the guy at the desk night 2 he took care of the towels we didn’t have and getting us in our room after we had to go back to the desk twice because our room key wasn’t working. Subway is close and we walked back from Yankee stadium. Room was clean.

This was my husband and I first time staying at this hotel and will be the last. We booked this hotel in advance and paid in full. We had no idea that we booked a room at a place where we would hear people through the walls having crazy loud relations if you know what I mean. We
stayed 2 days and got no rest. We had to leave our room multiple times a day to get away from the loud screams and crazy activities that were happening in this place. It's like we booked a room at a relation house and no one mentioned to us that this
was that type of establishment. I wish we could have gotten a refund. This was horrible for travelers from out of state. Smh

We were given a room with stained sheets and were told that we’d have to wait til the morning for new sheets even though we were only staying the night, after complaining about this we were given sheets and had to change them ourselves and the guy at the front desk was incredibly rude. We didn’t even want to stay the night we just wanted our money back and they would not give us our money back, don’t waste your money here!!

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Keycard never worked when I’d leave my room. Had to go have the front desk fix it every single time

When we went to check in the “lobby” wreaked of marijuana. I’m not one to be bothered by the smell, I do it too, but this is a place of business and it was clearly the desk person smoking it, and it was an awful smell. The bed was ok, the blanket and pillows sucked. The towels were awful. I guess I expected more for $250/night. But I guess I’m NY, that’s “cheap”. Parking was a nightmare, there’s maybe 8 spaces behind the building. If I chose the same place again I wouldn’t drive there. It is close to the Subway which was convenient. Bathroom was very clean. Overall, It wasn’t horrible, but not the most comfortable.

The property is not anything like the photos suggest. When we arrived there was not enough space for both my son and I to enter the lobby. It is extremely small! The vending machines in the lobby were practically empty or broken. There was one operating machine that contained only a row of hot Cheetos and a row of condoms. The other two vending machines for drinks were out of order. In the room, the smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling, the desk had no chair, there were no towels, only two very worn pillows on the bed, and the refrigerator was leaking water. The hotel and linens (including the worn pillows) strongly smelled of smoke. There is no closet or space to store your luggage. There is only one microwave for the entire hotel! There is also only one iron for the entire hotel. Do not even think you’re getting an ironing board, they don’t have one! The icing on the cake was the random men that kept knocking at our door at random hours. We quickly found that the hotel rented by the hour and we were near the room of a woman who was “working”! Needless to say we heard banging and the door opening and closing all night long! This hotel was far too expensive to be this awful! Shame on you Expedia for recommending such a place! DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE!

I am a person who irons everyday because my clothes somehow end up wrinkled. There was no iron nor ironing board in the room. There was cigarette burns in the blanket on my bed. That automatically puts me in the mind that it is not a clean blanket. It was okay because there was only a two night stay but it did not feel like a traditional room. It is much smaller definitely.

The staff members were polite and respectful, but the room conditions weren't. The bathroom door knob came off when used to open the door; there was tissue stuffed inside the hole where the door was supposed to close and, caused my friend to end up getting stuck inside the bathroom; some of the floor tiles were sticking out, the vending machine and furnace needs repairing.

Incorrect advertising as it was advertised as having a rainfall shower head. Loud noises outside, light switch didnt work, not enough towels and washcloths, no toiletries, lack of working outlets, and the photos didnt match the room at all. Shower door didnt work well. Other than that it was nice for what we paid

The crack heads and the heroin addicts , we paid to pay extra money for parking and take an,uber back due to the unsafe parking area full of addicts . The cleanness - there was hair on the towels, I had to buy towels myself, the entire hotel smelled like marijuana . I would never return and recommend unless you like to live like pig
