About this apartment rental
3 The Reach is a Luxury 3 bedroom apartment located right on the beach at South Sands sleeping up to 6 people in total comfort.
A paradise for beach lovers, you can put your feet in the white sand 10 metres from the front door whilst Salcombe (arguably Devon's finest seaside town!) is a few minutes drive or ferry away. Guests can hire paddleboards and Kayaks on the beach or use the Restaurant and Bar at the Harbour Beach Club next door as well as enjoy discounted passes for the Luxury Spa. For those seeking more adventure you can access the South West Coast Path a few minutes walk from the property and explore this beautiful coastline.
Park your car outside in the 1 designated space and enter the communal lobby with elevator and stair access to the first floor.
Entering into the hallway there are two bedrooms ahead of you both of which are en suite. The Master bedroom has a Super King bed and bedroom two has a Super King bed that can also be split to 2 singles thanks to a Zip and Link Mattress. Both bedrooms are finished to a very high standard and have ample storage as well as flatscreen TV's. The en suite in bedroom two is a 'Jack and Jill' bathroom so can be accessed through both the bedroom and hallway if needed.
Along the hallway is bedroom three offering a bunk bed with extra large single on the bottom as well as a chest of drawers.
The open plan living/kitchen/dining space is decorated in a luxurious and comfortable Coastal style combining wooden finishes with blues and creams that pay homage to the sea just metres outside. There's a large dining table seating up to 8 as well as a flat screen TV and air conditioning.
The stylish kitchen has every modern accessory you need, with a state-of-the-art hob sunk into the worktop and looking out over the rest of the room. Features guests will love include Instant boiling, chilled, and sparkling water available on tap and built in wine fridge.
The comfy sofa and chairs take full advantage of the views out of the sliding doors onto the balcony.
Outside, the balcony with glass balustrade offers unbridled views of the beach and the sea. There’s also a dining table and rattan sofa set inviting you to relax and look out to sea.

Salcombe is a historic fishing and sailing town that has become famous as a holiday destination because of its natural beauty and its local charm. Blessed with more beaches than you can visit in a week, a jaw-dropping estuary and magnificent walks along the South West Coast Path, it’s also filled with local traditions. For example, there’s the Town Regatta, excellent sailing opportunities, its own gin and ice cream factories. In fact, Island Square sits opposite Salcombe Gin Distillery, which has a bar overlooking the water serving gin cocktails as well as excellent coffees. You can’t leave without sampling the town’s unparalleled clotted cream fudge, visiting the magnificent bakery and restaurants such as Captain Flint’s and The Winking Prawn, which have practically become a rite of passage for visitors.

Beautiful and very spacious apartment, just in front of the beach, with great views and a lovely terrace.
Everything was perfect. The owners had even welcomed us with brownies and scones/jam/cream - very thoughtful.
The property is an a beautiful place, just across the beach, 10 min away from Salcombe either by car or by boat. We preferred South Sands to Salcombe itself. Lovely coastal walks nearby as well.

We stayed here for a milestone birthday celebration and it did not disappoint.
The property itself had everything you could want and was absolutely beautiful, as well as the balcony view being stunning.
We were able to book dinner at the hotel restaurant next door, book yoga on the beach to start the day, have lunch & cocktails in the hotel on the beach and get a short boat ride into town.
I would definitely recommend and I can’t wait to go back.

Very nice, brand new and well equipped apartment on South Sands, which feels like a private beach a short distance away from the hustle and bustle of Salcombe town centre.
