Looking for a peaceful retreat? Come stay at Black Bear Retreat, a newly built chalet style cabin on the "Peaceful Side of the Smokies" right in the heart of Townsend, TN. We are located in the center of town, 200 ft from the Townsend bike trail, within walking distance of local restaurants, and a 5 minute drive from the Smoky Mountain National Park entrance. The visitors center, which hosts many local festivals and events, is only a 0.5 mile from the cabin. About the Cabin: The cabin features 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, plus a loft with 2 twin beds. The main level features a bedroom with a queen sized bed and a full sized bathroom. It boasts an open concept living room, dining room, kitchen with a loft. The living room has a Smart TV so log into your favorite app or enjoy free YouTubeTV during your stay. The upstairs loft opens to the living room and features 2 twin sizes beds, a perfect space for the kids! The lower level features an open concept living area and offers a sitting area with adjoining king sized bed as well as private access to a full sized bathroom. The bathroom features a walk in shower, vanity, and a full sized washer and dryer. The cabin boasts two large decks. The upper deck features a grill and outdoor eating area. The lower deck features rocking chairs and hot tub. The lower deck also opens to a spacious lawn area - perfect for family outdoor games or just letting the kids run off some steam!
