We came to the area so that we could visit Yosemite, but were just as happy hanging out by the lake. We would have liked to have stayed longer. The house had everything you could need, instructions were very clear and it was nice to have the garden and access to the lake too. Hopefully we'll be back.

Nice location, a short walk to the water, and close to downtown shops and restaurants. The air conditioning was a lifesaver - the weather was really hot when we were there (July) but the air conditioning kept the house cool and comfortable. The house was clean. Beds and bed linens were comfy. The kitchen was very well equipped and had new appliances, plus there was a decent barbeque in the little yard outside The host was friendly and very responsive (answered messages within minutes). We enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay with 4 kids ranging in age 3 to 11. The toys and details for kids was great! The private beach was easy to walk to for playing in the sand and water. We enjoyed the backyard and outdoor seating for playing games and cards. We had a great time and would definitely stay again!

This house with a cabin feel was perfect for our family and friend group of 7. The walk to the lake was just a hop and a skip. We took full advantage of the private beach! The house had everything we needed and more. Communication and response time from host was excellent!

Our family of five had such an amazing time staying at Vincent and Michelle's lake cabin! The location is perfect for enjoying all that Bass Lake has to offer. Walkable to a small, but private beach, and an easy drive (or walk if u don't mind walking on the road) to restaurants, a grocery store, and the Pines Resort. The home itself has plenty of room for a family to relax, and my preschooler could not get enough of his bunk room and all of the amazing toys that were thoughtfully provided. We would not hesitate to book this great home again!

Canoe Creek Lodge is just perfect! It's super comfy with lots of extra blankets, pillows towels, and toiletries, (even toothbrushes and deodorant). You'll not want for anything! There was even an extra basket in the kitchen with some welcoming snacks and canned drinks. The only thing I didn't see was coffee/keurig pods to go with the Keurig coffee maker. So maybe bring your own if you are a coffee drinker. But I didn't look hard, as none of us were coffee drinkers.
It had a super cute bedroom for kids with lots of nice toys. We just didn't have any young kids to take advantage of the toys.
Besides being super cute and having lots of little extra things, the place was spotlessly clean! Especially the bathrooms! It's a great location and you can easily walk to the lake in about 5 minutes.
The owners respond quickly, though we didn't need to ask them anything. We only wanted to thank them for a wonderful stay at their cabin. They asked us if we caught any fish, as we told them we were coming up to fish and visit Yosemite. By the way, we did catch some fish! Trout and crappie (catch and release).
We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Bass Lake.

Friendly owners , supplied us with baby bed and was very responsive . House was cozy and backyard was amazing for our kids.
House was fully equipped and had items from oil, spices and more items which was nice .
Had plenty Dishes , silverware and pots to cook with
One thing I would request is having more Tupperware or containers and bigger bowls to bake. Other than that we recommend this place and plan to rent again ..

Our family had a great time celebrating thanksgiving and having fun in the cabin! The owners were very responsive and accommodating. The cabin was clean, cozy, and well appointed. It was very easy to get to the private lake access, and we took advantage of several hikes in the area. The kitchen has all new appliances. We had to get creative at times to cook and serve our large family, since the dining table only seats 6 and the pots/bowls were small, but we made it work! The beds were comfortable, and the cabin can sleep up to 12 (we had 9 people). The backyard was really nice, and we could eat outside when it was warm. The wi-fi was great, even with multiple phones, laptops, gaming systems, TVs, etc. We highly recommend this lovely cabin for family getaways!

I brought my two daughters here for a “girls” trip to Yosemite and Bass lake. We could not have been happier with the house, location and amenities! There was a private beach area that was a 4 min walk… a super cute little old fashioned downtown a 2 min ride up the road, a super fun bigger beach area 3 min the other direction. The house was clean and comfortable with some modern decor. They supplied us with a basket of everything we would need… and you can get a glimpse of the lake from the second story. Lovely place, host was easy to get a hold of for questions. Yosemite was 30 min away but technically it takes 60-90 mins to get to curry village if you want to do the main hikes there just FYI. And you need a visitor pass ahead of time to visit the park. We will stay again next time we get a chance.
