Excellent stay

Excellent stay - we were able to let ourselves in. Great communication with the owner. Hot tub was ready to use upon arrival. The whole place was immaculate & in a great area too. Would definitely stay again for maybe a bit longer

Cosy flat home to home xxx 10 star plus

As soon as we arrived at the property I felt like I was in heaven. The flat was unbelievably clean, comfortable and homely with everything you need including things you wouldn't expect even from a five star hotel,like a full bottle of milk, tea, coffee and even nibbles. The flat was so very clean and the decor was stunning with a fantastic four poster bed, tables that charged your phone and a really quirky sofa! The host wasn't well when we arrived but still made sure we had everything we needed and was available for anything. By the morning after the first night we were making arrangements to go again but this time for longer. Would give this accommodation more than 10 stars if I could!

The flat was spotless, and had everything we needed. Colette has=d provided tea and coffee and milk, and some crisps and biscuits. We felt very at home. Within walking distance of restaurants and food shops, and although Colette gave us a lift into the centre of York, it would have been easy to get in, along the bus route or taxis. Perfect little getaway or stop off gap for couples or solo travellers, wanting to explore the area. The hot tub was great, after a long days walk around York. Will definitely be back.

Good value quiet stay, on York's outskirts.

Conveniently sited for our plans; clean, quiet and comfortable. Just what we needed.

Shame the hot tub kept shutting down after only 5 mins use, but that was only a "nice-to-have" anyway.

Lovely long weekend

Colette was a great host, friendly welcome, responsive throughout and provided great recommendations. Also, super kindly offered lift into York! Then allowed us our privacy of the entire downstairs to ourselves. Bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and garden all lovely. Hot tub positioned so nicely, you don't feel overlooked.

Road noise can be noticeable (but not so much that it ever impacted our sleep) and we opted to eat in one night but there wasn't the best set up to sit at a table together.

Idyllic stay in York!

During my recent stay in York, I had the privilege of experiencing one of the most serene and delightful accommodations I've ever encountered. My room exuded a warmth, was clean and cosiness that made me feel instantly at home. Beyond the amenities, what stood out was the genuine hospitality of Collete, who was always friendly, attentive, and ensured our stay was seamless. Despite the peaceful and quiet location, accessing the town was a breeze, making it an ideal spot for both relaxation and exploration. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable stay in York.

The Perfect Getaway

The cutest flat with a fabulous garden, the hottub was amazing and hot!! Easy check in and check out. Colette is an amazing host, she goes above and beyond. she had a lovely surprise of chocolates and balloons in the room for our anniversary as well as coffee, tea, sugar and milk in the fridge to make a cuppa. She even kindly dropped us into town the first day and showed us the best routes / transport stops. Plenty of towels, especially for using the hot tub, spacious rooms, comfy bed and clean sheets. Space to parking your car. The perfect getaway!

Absolutely loved our stay made to feel so welcome by the host Colette spotless home from home loads of treats absolutely loved the hot tub just what we needed after the day at the races 🐎would definitely recommend and looking forward to coming back soon . Quiet, cosy and a must stay.

The location was great, just far enough out of the city so it was nice and quiet. The Hot Tub was a fantastic bonus and the garden looked lovely at night. Very comfy bed and loved the smart TV. Our wonderful host was so helpful and even gave us a lift into the city (plus some important advice).

Magical. An evening of tranquility.

Colette the host was lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. She provided snacks, tea, complimentary toiletries and chocolates all free of charge. It was our anniversary and we felt so welcomed into this tranquility. Colette kindly drove us into the city free of charge. Amazing getaway. Location was perfect for dining, travelling and had everything close by. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

This accommodation for our staycation was perfect and ticked all the boxes. Myself and my partner were both amazed at how clean and well kept the place was. Very cozy and great value for money. Our host was a delight, and was kind to provide travel to and from the station on arrival and departure.

honeymoon break away amazing stay.

It was for our honeymoon, we loved how welcomed we was by Collette, even the special balloons and chocolate as it was our honeymoon was a suprise. The hot tub and bedroom was so nice. The kitchen and shower room where clean and we wanted to stay longer.

Would recommend this stay to anyone that wants a few nights of peace in a relaxing and pleasant area

All facilities were provided including TV, cooking, tea, coffee etc. Hot tub was fantastic, as well as the garden environment. Very scenic. Comfy and private bedroom Great bathroom/shower facilities Host very kind and informative

We thought that the location was in the centre of York but it wasn't. This was okay in the end as a park and ride is very close and it may have been our fault for not reading properly.

Amazing, hidden gem with an amazing host

What's not to like??? Colette is super friendly and helpful, offering to drive us into York when we planned to go out for dinner at no extra cost. Milk and snacks on arrival, complementary toiletries in case of forgotten items. The flat is beautiful and an exceptional place to stay. The number 6 bus is a 2 minute walk away, the Vue Cinema I'd a 5 minute walk away along with a great selection of restaurants. Perfect for a quiet tranquil weekend away.

An amazing little find, well worth the stay.

The property was so lovely, the garden set up with the hot tub was perfect, especially at night when it was all lit up. The host was wonderful and made sure we had a great stay and even took us in to York the day we arrived. This was the perfect place to celebrate my 40th. Thank you for such a wonderful stay and we will be returning.

A really blissful weekend - felt really taken care of by the host.

We had an absolutely lovely, luxurious weekend. As other guests have mentioned, Colette met us from the station, gave us a quick tour of the local area, and drove us back. Communication was also excellent before we arrived; Colette answered messages very promptly and was a great source of information about where to eat etc. She stocked us up with fresh milk, biscuits and snacks, and the flat was spotlessly clean; linen and towels looked new. The highlight for us was the hot tub - so romantic with all the fairy lights and so beautifully warm despite the weather not being very kind to us!

Home away from home!

The property was superb and the hostess (Colette) even more so! Colette went above and beyond to ensure that we had a comfortable stay. We received such a friendly welcome and Colette was so helpful with any queries we had. The property itself was well presented, clean and cosy - not to mention the lovely hot tub and the scenic garden lights/ decorations that were absolutely beautiful. The area was quiet and safe, and just a short drive from York City Centre. I could not recommended Colette and this property any more highly!

Great little flat with beautiful garden.

A great little space with everything you need for a weekend away, including a hot tub. Colette is an excellent host and goes out of her way to make you feel very welcome. The garden is like a little hideaway with lovely lighting - a great space to chill.

Home from home

It felt like a home away from home. The location is grate for a local night out and a city one as its about 5/10 minutes away. Couldn't ask for a better host, she's so friendly and not to far away if you have any worries or problems. She also gave us some excellent suggestions on where to eat and places to go which she definitely wasn't wrong about. She was also very helpful giving us lifts to and from the train station but also in to the city. We appreciated this very much. We Will definitely be going back.

Lovely property really comfortable bed and had everything you needed. The hot tub was great and clean.The property owner was really friendly and dropped us into York and couldn't do enough for us really made you feel welcome. Couldn't fault a thing with the property or the owner.

Amazing experience

Excellent place to stay. Host was amazing very helpful. Property was amazing, has the little added extras which were fantastic. Travelled over 2 hours and didn't have to worry about getting supplies for a cup of tea/coffee as it was all there including snacks 🙂 bed was comfy. Hot tub fantastic. Great location as it's only 15 minutes away from town and Tesco only down the road if you need anything. Would highly recommend and can't wait to come again 😊.

The host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Lifts into york and providing nibbles in the apartment. Nothing was too much trouble which is a rare quality and really made the short stay amazing. Beds were sooo comfy and the garden was extremely cute with mood lighting and fairy lights in the trees. If you dont mind staying 10 mins out of york then i would absolutely recommend.

Excellent little flat for our short stay in York. super cosy and not far at all to York city centre.

loved the property it was like home from home. Decorated so nice and cosy. It had everything you needed! Even Netflix which was a massive bonus. Collette the host was amazing, she went above and beyond for our stay, even dropping us in York city centre.

The host was inviting and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable with small gestures. The bedroom was great and bed very comfy, hot tub and garden lights in the evening set the mood. Grand stay!
