This cozy house has everything! Great location, comfy beds, beautiful setting. We really enjoyed the front porch and the backyard star gazing. The house has everything you need and the adventure shed is set up for whatever you might need to go to the lake or river. Emily, the host is organized and responsive. We would definitely go back!

Had a great stay here and the property is amazing. It is close to town and was very clean and comfortable. I loved being near the park. It was great to get up and be able to go for a walk outside the backyard.

The Sage House is a perfect retreat from ciaos. To enjoy a comfortable home in the warmth of Grass Valley, is a great way to unwind. Beautifully decorated with every detail thought out. Cozy bed linens and plush towels were my favorite. I wish I stayed longer with a book to read in the yard. Next time!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Sage House. So charming and had everything we needed. Loved all your natural products, Keurig coffee machine, eclectic decor, comfy beds and walking the trail just out your backyard. Perfect for our group of three. I hope to stay here again the next time I'm in Grass Valley.

I had a lovely stay at the Sage house. It is on a quiet street that backs up to a wooded area with trails so I walked everyday. The house is comfy with a fully equipped kitchen that I enjoyed cooking and baking in. I look forward to staying there my next visit to Grass Valley!

The Sage House was everything described and more. It was clean, cozy, easy to access all the amenities, close to town and trails, and beautiful on the inside and out. Emily was such a great host and so easy to communicate with. Special touches inside included games, extra linens and towels, items for children, a very warm fireplace, and holiday decor. I can’t more strongly recommend this place to others and would 100% rebook this place when we return to Grass Valley.

Very clean, and comfortable stay. Beds were comfortable and cozy with plenty of blankets. Super cute kitchen with everything you need. The trails nearby were perfect! What a beautiful little house and surroundings. The host was very friendly and quick to respond to our questions. We would stay here again! Highly recommend.

Stayed here with a four family of four. Very nicely appointed- the kitchen is stocked with all the needed dishes, plenty of towels and so on. The decor was uncluttered and calm. They clean with natural cleansers which we really appreciate. We enjoyed walking out the back gate through the local park. Amazing fall colors throughout the area.

We had a wonderful stay at the Sage house. We were very impressed with the location, the chemical free home, and the yard. It was so nice to step into a home that didn't smell like toxic laundry detergent. I loved the healthier choices that they use for kitchen and bathroom supplies. The yard was amazing, the water fountain, fruit trees, and herbs were awesome. We would stay there again if we have the chance. Loved it!

I highly recommend this gorgeous home. What a beautiful property! Clean, comfortable, homey yet chic. We grilled on the patio and enjoyed meals in the spacious backyard, amid the flowers, butterflies (and quail!), and gurgling koi pond. A very pleasant walk out the back gate through the park into adorable downtown Grass Valley. The neighborhood was quiet and tranquil. Thank you, Emily, for being an amazing and responsive host. This house is truly a gem. :)

Our family really enjoyed our stay in Grass Valley. The house was very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. The backyard was lovely and a great place to relax. The proximity to downtown worked out well. The gateway from the backyard to the park was a definite bonus that our family enjoyed.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed The Sage House. The decor was just darling…a blend of bohemian and mid century. The cleanliness was impeccable and the beds and pillows and linens were upscale and so comfortable. Emily has a wonderful property and was very accessible. We would definitely stay at The Sage House again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a great, relaxing stay at the Sage House! Everything was as advertised. Very clean, well appointed, and private. Especially enjoyed the hammock and sounds of the pond/fountain in the backyard.

I was in town for a music festival at the Nevada County Fairgrounds, and this was a great place to stay for that. A quick drive but a nice escape from crowds and sun. We really liked having the park outside the backyard gate, which was perfect for walks and has a nice disc golf course. (And there are some discs in the shed to use!) The house was perfect for our family of 3 for the days we were in town.

Your house is so thoughtfully set up for the traveler! We mostly assembled meals to take to the concerts but the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare food. The temperature in the house was perfect. The beds were extremely comfortable as well. We hope to come again next year!

It is hard not to appreciate the thought and effort that went into making this house so well appointed yet minimalistic at the same time. Was in town to participate in a 100 Mile race and arrived a bundle of nerves, let the soothing sound of the backyard water feature do its thing and lull you to sleep every night in your plushy bed. Loved that the sheets were all white and crisp. Towels a plenty . All organic and natural cleaners and supplies. Kitchen had everything you need to cook. Emily the host was always a quick message away with any questions we had. So if you're looking for some respite from your daily grind or need a great place to prep and recover for grueling athletic attempts . This is your place . We've already begun to plan our next trip.

Three of us get together at least twice a year. Just to relax, spend time together and do some serious shopping ! Emily’s place was the perfect spot to call home for a few days. It was easily within driving of some gorgeous Gold Country towns such as Auburn, Folsom and Placerville. And of course, Grass Valley itself ! We WILL return !!!

My family stayed at the Sage House for Thanksgiving weekend of 2022 and it did not disappoint. The backyard was such a peaceful place to relax with plenty of seating and a gate leading directly to the trails of Condon Park. The house had everything we needed, including a well stocked kitchen and a washer/dryer. Emily was an amazing host, responding to my questions quickly, and even giving unsolicited recommendations over the weekend. The house is a short drive to downtown Grass Valley where parking is easy to find. We will certainly be back.

We had a wonderful stay in Emily’s home. It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our five day stay. We loved the quiet neighborhood and the location backing up to Condon park was a top selling point for us. We enjoyed the outdoor dining table as well as the couch for a cup of coffee in the morning and lunch. There were several activities for our kids which was awesome. Overall we had a great stay, and would love to be able to come back.

Emily was very communicative and clear with instructions and details. The house was perfect and close enough to town for shopping and dining, but far enough away to make it feel a tad rural. Great backyard for having coffee in the morning with the view and sound of the pond/fountain. Beds were comfy and plenty of linens for extra warmth. Would definitely book here again for our next trip!

The house had everything you would want. Close to Downtown and the Nevada County Fairgrounds.. Morning Coffee in the back yard is a perfect way to start the day. It was welcoming and comfortable. Great response from Emily. I would stay again!

From beginning to end, this was hands down the best VRBO experience we have had. The Sage House is adorable and stylishly decorated. Emily has thought of absolutely everything one could possibly need during their stay. The check in and check out process was super easy and Emily was very quick to respond to messages. We will definitely be back!
