We loved it. Owners were true to the historic features but added seamless mod cons. Our only complaint is that it would have been much nicer if the dining furniture were a bit smaller to make room for a more functional living room.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Teacher's Cottage, located in the heart of Silver City. It is steps to restaurants, shops, the historic downtown and Big Ditch park. It's a plus that the property is pet friendly, as we brought our small dog who loved the grassy yard. We appreciated the well-appointed kitchen as well. The host's responsiveness is top-notch. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit to Silver City.

Perfect little house for 3 sisters who love each other but don’t want to share a bed! Park, unpack, and go explore Silver City by foot - so convenient! We would definitely stay here again! So nice that check out was pack and leave. Great place to stay!!! Thank you 😊

The cottage was charming and had everything we needed. Love all the antiques and old pictures of teacher and students. It was close to downtown like we wanted. My only complaint was the noise outside from really loud cars and motorcycles late into the night on Friday and Saturday. Maybe some upgraded windows glass might help. I realize the owners can’t control “cruising “ on Main Street however.

The location of the house is literally off the main block, couldn’t be more convenient! Host is super responsive and easy…not ‘in our business’ at all, which optimal. This house was a perfect place to stay. I would not absolutely recommend staying here.

We have been staying at the Teacher House almost everytime we come up to Silver City. This is absolutely our 1st choice abd will only go somewhere else if this home is not available during our time slot. Right in the historic downtown area and very close to WNMU.

I would highly recommend The Teacher's Cottage. It is in a great location in a sweet little neighborhood right downtown. The house was clean and comfortable and we felt right at home. We also loved all the charm of staying in a historic home. Our French Bulldog loved the fenced yard. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Silver City.

This listing was a total 10/10. You’re a block away from the Main Street and all the shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Great yard for enjoying the nice weather and the house has everything you could need for your stay. My only note is that if you are tall watch your head when going upstairs, and the shower upstairs might be tight for you. Other than that can’t wait to come back again.

We loved staying at this house. Right in the heart of downtown and a historical house built in the late 1800's. So cute and happy inside. The house was spotless and everything we needed was there. Nice little yard for our dog too. I would definetly stay there again.

Excellent location in Silver City. Close to bakery, Food Co-Op, Big Ditch Park for dog walking and all the sights. Minutes away from hiking trails. Clean, organized, vintage with modern amenities. WiFi worked well. Nice yard. Lovely cottage. We will be back. The shower upstairs is challenging for tall guests but the downstairs shower has plenty of head room and great water pressure.

The property was clean, comfortable and well stocked. It is located right downtown with easy walking access to everything the downtown has to offer. The pictures don’t do it justice. I would definitely stay here again!

The property is an older cottage with a furnished loft that has a bathroom and two full sized beds. The floor level has a bedroom with a Murphy bed and the laundry room adjacent to the bedroom. The bathroom is the main one for the house that is next to the bedroom. The decorations and paint accentuate the ambience of the home. There are ceiling fans and mini-split AC/Heat units for each room. We truly enjoyed our stay in this cottage! Kimber- the property host is very accommodating and responsive to any questions/concerns!

We liked this charming little house. It was well appointed and clear that the host put a lot of thought into its amenities. We wished that it had a comfortable seating area for putting your feet up and relaxing. The big table in the living space didn't work well for us. The chairs on the patio were also uncomfortable. First of all, the photos on VRBO do not do justice to this property. It has the charm of a historic home with modern amenities. It was clean, well equipped, with wonderful bathrooms. High quality towels and a lot of little extras made this stay a memorable one. Great location! A big “Thank you” to the property manager/ owner.

The original cottage noted above was cute, but was smaller than expected. They were kind enough to allow us to move to the Stein house which accommodated us much better. I truly appreciated the care and concern they had for our needs. We thought the house was beautiful, clean and well kept. Again, thank you for helping us with our stay.
