The Aqua Door is a 1955 house, newly remodeled, charming 4 bedroom/2 bathroom vacation home rental located just 5 blocks from the center of Main Street and Marktplatz. The house features 4 large cozy bedrooms (3 kings/1 queen), large kitchen fully stocked and equipped for cooking and entertaining, a piano, a cabinet full of indoor games and a fabulous courtyard and backyard shaded by mature pecan trees complete with an outdoor bar, propane grill, outdoor games, courtyard string lights, outdoor dining area with large umbrella, private hot tub and a custom-built wood burning fire pit.

The Aqua Door is the perfect house for families, girls' retreats, bachelorette parties, reunion groups or a couple's getaway.

HOSTS – Home to Yourselves
SLEEPS – Up to 8 people in 4 bedrooms; three king bedrooms & one queen bedroom
BATH – 2 full baths; one bath with a walk-in shower with double sinks & second bath with a tub/shower combo
KITCHEN – Fully equipped kitchen plus a wine fridge, Keurig & regular coffeemakers
BREAKFAST – No breakfast provided

We loved the quiet neighborhood and cute house! We did have to walk a bit to get to main street, but it was worth it to be in a quiet neighborhood. The back yard is awesome. There is plenty of space to spread out and relax here.

This house was perfect for our girls trip of 7. Check in was a breeze and the house was just blocks from Main Street. Rooms were spacious and the backyard is so cute. Honestly, we had no issues!

The house had everything we needed. Fully stocked spice cabinet and kitchen. Lots of towels. We did run out of toilet paper at the end but we had 7 ladies staying in the house for 2 nights and 5 rolls to work with, so that’s probably not surprising. The back yard was amazing. We brought our own fire starter but there was a ton of wood there. Some of the bags for cornhole had holes in them so the stuffing flew out when we threw the bags. But we found duct tape in the kitchen and that worked as a quick patch. The beds were comfy. We were 1.2 miles away from the pickup point for 290 Wine Shuttle so we walked to that (there weren’t sidewalks for 1/2 of the walk but it worked for us). I would highly recommend this place for a lovely stay!

Recently stayed with 2 other couples in this lovely home located very close to Main Street. The neighborhood is charming and quiet. There is a nice gravel driveway and street parking. We loved the spacious kitchen and dining room and the backyard was great. The 2nd and 3rd bedroom are separated by a sliding barn door so there is privacy but not necessarily the same privacy as a closed door. The bathroom situation was a bit odd for couples. The hall bath is very small and requires some scheduling as there is no counter space and a small mirror. I wish the bedrooms had mirrors for doing makeup and getting ready to help with this. The master bath is not private from the master bedroom and whoever sleeps in there does not have privacy if someone used that bathroom. We had some issues with the driveway flood light constantly going off thru the night which illuminates the whole bedroom closest to the driveway. Upon investigation and another couple commenting about noise in the walls we noted an entry on the back side of the house that appears an animal is using to enter. You can hear the animal in the walls quite well in the bedroom to the right of the hall bathroom. I did message through VRBO asking if the light could be turned off and received a forwarded email the next day between the owner and some other unknown individuals that the owner told the other parties she thought she had turned it off in her app for me, but it didn’t. Otherwise clean and spacious.

House is located on a quiet street, within walking distance to Main St. & was perfect for our annual siblings trip of 4 couples. Listing mentioned a fully stocked kitchen, and it was! Coffee, spices, all the pans needed, etc. We did have a small issue with the coffee maker & oven, but we were able to work around it, thus the 4 instead of 5 star rating. Highly recommend this property

We really loved the house - it was super cute & in a good area, too! A little closer to Main for walking would’ve been even better but what can you do?! We had some plumbing issues and maintenance came right away to fix it. Def recommend!

This property was so special! We were celebrating our daughter’s masters degree and had grandparents too. A giant congratulations awaited her in the kitchen as well as wine from a local vineyard. The home was so spacious as well as the yard. Walking distance to town bean bags and horseshoes in the back which was very fun! Hot tub to relax in… My husband raved the whole time asking how I found such a special place😇 It’s stylish and the bedding divine! Photo ops everywhere. Memories forever!

We enjoyed the house on our girls trip. It has a phenomenal outdoor space. We grilled one night and ran out of propane, the owner brought some over within 15 minutes and was very pleasant to chat with. The house is well stocked with kitchen supplies and everything you need. 1 mile walk to down or very short drive, plenty of parking at the house, code on the door which makes it a breeze for groups. We would definitely stay here again.

This home was amazing! Fully stocked with all the necessities! Everyone enjoyed the outdoor area, with firepit and hot tub! It was an amazing experience even with all the the ice and snow! This was our 3rd stay at Aqua Door. It is beautiful and has everything one might want. The only drawback is the odd layout of the bedrooms. There is no door between the front bedroom and the restroom, so if sharing with other couples, it doesn’t afford quite the level of privacy one might want. Also, the “swing” bedroom can only be accessed from outside or by going through one of the other bedrooms. That said, it’s a lovely house and the hosts are very responsive.

We booked this place for 4 couples to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday and it was just perfect!! It is so close to Main Street! The house was really clean and supplied with everything you could need!! The outside area was so nice to relax in the evenings! The host was amazing and had great communication! Great girls trip! Easy walk to Main Street. Owner provided coffee which was very nice and much needed! Backyard was great for sipping coffee in the morning as a group! Overall a great stay and really enjoyed!

The aqua door was an amazing property that we will definitely book again! The beds were all comfortable and the house was well stocked with anything you could possibly need.
