Das Haus ist wie eine Villa Kunterbunt und recht zentral.

Quiet location, with spacious rooms.

En çok ev sahibinin mail ile her şeyi detaylı şekilde açıklamasını sevdim.
Sevmediğim bir şey yok:)

This place is the real home far from home. The place is amazing, the owner is super helpful. It is not a hotel is much more. You have nice bedrooms, great kitchen with everything u need, clean toilets. The room was very big and the house is so incredible all itself.
Everything was great

Uslåelig pris! Stort rom. Lett tilgjengelig.
Rom ikke skikkelig rengjort.
Sengetøy måtte finnes og legges på selv,. Ganske lytt til gangområdet.

Everything, from the location to the style, the book shelves, the shared area where I've met nice people and the hosts who were super nice

Fredelig. God beliggenhet ift mine andre ærender. Rimelig.

A Sherlock Holmes quiz to arrive and enter. No staff to be seen. Quiet discreet guests. Old but maybe not haunted house.
Not your usual stay but I loved it.
Very nice area. Lots of embassy or cd residences. Close to the fjord. A choice of restaurant walking distance ...if you are not overweight) go outwards from center you'll find interesting restaurants.
Closer fast train station to airport in I would go back if I have time...and money (Oslo is more expensive than Switzerland) but to some extent it is value for money.... If the weather is nice 🙂
I would not say my bed was very confortable...but I slept well.....I always do.

The kitchen is fully equipped. The room was quite big. It’s a nice concept of b&b with a homey feel to it rather than a bland hotel.
Unfortunately it was not very clean. Since the kitchen and bathroom are shared spaces I can understand that they get dirty quite fast. But in my room the floor was dirty, which is not very nice as I booked a private room.

Friendly owner. Good location away from downtown but near museums, bus lines, grocery, etc. It's a unique experience for foreigners to stay in a Norwegian house, kind of like an Airbnb. My room was like a library room w/ couches and beds. There aren't many options in Oslo (except hotels and two hostels that shut down seasonally). This house had random guests that you can talk to and there was some free food that was offered. Close to small harbor and park where people jog.
It's a big old house with shared bathrooms. As the description states.

The room was big, the neighbor was silence and the beds were comfortable
The house from the outside looks great, however the facilities on the inside doesn’t match the expectations.
Everything was dirty, the bathroom was the floor wet all the time as the shower door was removed because it was broken. There were lot of hair in both showers and looked that it was there from a long time.
The room didn’t have curtains and it was quite hot inside during night and as the house have a pretty big garden, there were insects coming inside of the room during all night. All the furniture were broken and dirty, the sofa was near collapsing and full of dirt. The carpet had stains in many spots and was uncomfortable to walk over it.
The kitchen was more of the same, the sink full of leftovers and the plates and kitchenware were also dirty and with stains. The fridge has food left there from many days ago and the freezer has ice in every tray in it was only ice every place.

Actually nothing
The place is so dirty. My room was so dirty, the windows in the room was broken and I sent pictures to the services but no one answered me about that. They wrote double bed but it was big sofa with madrass over, it's was so difficult to sleep and uncomfortable. The floor is so dirty. The soap was empty and I sent also to the services and they said we are sorry you can use the shampoo in bathroom to wash your hands. The smell there is crazy also. It's really was so bad an experience.

Villa is very beautiful, it has a lot of history. And the host is super friendly. We did have a lovely time here. Accomodation is good, we had everything that we need. 😊

Location in the city. I wold like to say something more positive, but i just can't.
CONS: We ordered a room with a double bed, and despite the fact that the owner knows very well what double beds are because he has such in other rooms, he left us a room with two single beds of different heights. To top it off, we got dirty bedding (hair and fur on the sheets) with holes, bedded as if someone just threw it on the bed. After arriving from a 1.5-month trek and entering the room at 8:30 pm, we were a bit frazzled, but we wrote to the staff. It turned out that there is no option for us to get the double bed we ordered and only we have to exchange mattresses by height and they can EVENTUALLY if we wish to change the bedding. So we thanked them for waiting until 10 pm to change the bedding and slept in our own sleeping bags. The bathrooms are in dramatic condition, they smell musty and are apparently cleaned once a long time, because the thickness of the dirt on the floor under the sink is intimidating. Don't go in there without flip-flops if you don't want to get fungal infections. In the kitchen everything is dirty, so that it sticks, and before cooking anything you have to start by washing the dishes. Regardless of the idea of the hotel and the atmosphere in it according to the owner, cleanliness should not be optional. Here it is just plain dirty. Note: If you order a room with a double bed, and get two double, dirty beds in a smelly room, the owner does not feel one bit responsible to refund the cost of the night, even in part. Booking will reimburse you at most 15%. In a word - avoid by a wide bow.

Everything was really great - quiete place with spacy room, great kitchen for usíná, 5 minutek to walk to bus station which goes 10 minutek to city center.
Just small detail: I would put only some floorcloths in bathroom

We had a big room with a shared bathroom with some boys next door. The idea is to stay in a guest house where you really are a guest: rooms are furnished with random furnitures, you may use anything, even do your loundry if you need. The owner lives next door, in case you need anything. The kitchen is so beautiful and looks well equipped (we didn’t use it). The location is so quiet and relaxing, although it’s only 10 minutes by bike (there is a public bike sharing parking nearby). The owner cat’s is one of the cutest I’ve ever met.
It’s dirty. I mean, I understand the idea of make you feeling like you’re hosted at a friend’s house, but my god, when I invite someone I clean the bathroom. We moved the beds and found a spider and lots of dirt, not to mention the dust. Cleaning should’t be an option, doesn’t matter how cheap the accommodation is: as I said, even if I invite someone I clean my house. Also, most of the windows are shut, including those in the bathroom, which means there is no air circulation.
3.6
In adequate proximity to the city center. Relatively cheap.
I believe every host puts all their effort into their endeavour, so this villa is no exception. Consider this a caveat for your stay: the house was built in the XIX century and may appeal to those who enjoy the old-world charm. The host declares that "this is not a hotel," and it's true. The villa is more of a hostel with private rooms. The host himself lives on the ground floor with his family. Caveat #1: there is only one wet room (toilet + shower + utility) available for all eight rooms (if I'm not mistaken). No shampoo or shower gel is provided, and only one towel is given. Caveat #2: the banging doors and squeaky locks/door handles are quite annoying, especially if your room is next to the bathroom. Lastly, the latch on the bathroom door is outdated and weird. Caveat #3: Do not rely on the "free WiFi" as this is nothing else but a joke.

Wonderful place to stay in a old palace! Host is very welcoming
Just few little things... we paid for the parking spot, but eventually we parked at the street that probably will be ok, if we did not pay for it. Door handle to our room had a protruding, small nail (i hurt myself while closing the door). Only 2 toilets available for all the rooms. You can feel the floor moving while somebody is walking in the corridor next to your room.
3.6
It was the dirtiest and oldest house I have ever stayed in. There are eight rooms with only one bathroom, which was also dirty, the house was from 1898 basically every door and piece of furniture was old and you had to be careful because you could break anything. It says there is internet, but in practice it never worked, and they didn't even let us leave our backpacks for a few hours after check-out
3.6
Unattended check-in, really close to the city center, very good price for the parking near the apartment. Clean apartment, nice beds, well-equipped kitchen. Quiet at nights
Was a little difficult for me with the keys, access and all that. Everything was in the instructions sent prior to check-in, but still...
3.6
Nothing.
Had to contact help line twice to get access code to property. Door access was temperamental. Only one medium sized towel for 3 night stay. Shared bathroom not even on same floor. Sink in room leaked onto wooden floor. Wifi didn't work in the attic-type room.
3.6
We ordered the option of accommodation with breakfast, they were very tasty, served in the room. Shared large kitchen, fully equipped, available to guests. Very favorable location, in a quiet district but close to the bus stop 30 which can be conveniently reached to the center and the other way to the beach and museums of Bygdøy.
A bit small bathrooms but that's the charm of an old house.
3.6
The villa is a beautiful old house, situated in a very nice neighbourhood. Oslo is easy to reach by tram on on foot. The rooms are beautiful.
There are no curtains or shutters on the windows. The place is a little run-down. The garden in unkempt.
3.6
The house is incredible charming, really, we just love it. We stayed at the balcony and the room is just perfect.
Probably you'll need a bus to the center of the city, but it's not a problem.

Welcoming host, pretty room, comfortable location.

Jørn (the owner) is such a nice guy!! Enviroment is really friendly :) Location is perfect, really close to the city center. On the other hand, the hotel is really old and it’s not what we imagined. But overall we had good times in there and i recommend this hotel :)
3.6
I spent a couple of days in this wonderful fairytale villa, which truly made my stay in Oslo unforgettable! Jørn is the most warmhearted, carrying, and attentive host I have ever met, always making sure that you have everything you need. The common areas like the kitchen, bathroom, and living room were always neat and clean. I was staying in the Yellow Room, which was facing the garden and every morning I woke up with the view of blossomy violet and jasmine bushes that set me in a great mood for the rest of the day.
I would definitely recommend this place to everyone who is longing for an authentic and calm atmosphere, and who understand, respect, and appreciate the charm of century-old buildings.
Villa International is a true gem close to the heart of Oslo.
3.6
Amazing old building of 1893 if not mistaken
Every detail is unique and interesting, good equipped for a long stay. Big rooms and nice beds as well as interior. The hosts are awesome and can help you out with anything, also it’s easy to find and location 📍is near Oslo fjørd, where you can hike and jogging 🏃♀️.
If you have a heavy luggage you need to carry it up several floors, also if you’re a sensitive person to old buildings it will be hard to sleep, if you know, you know.

Excellent location, we did not meet the host but the communication was quick and easy! the concept of the house is verz close to our hearts and therefore we loved everything about it!
Everything was great, nothing to dislike.

The house itself.

It was an exciting and unique experience in itself. You feel as if you are staying in a large cozy house of old fairytale houses. There are many books everywhere. Everything was available and clean from hair dryer, iron, large fridge, washer and dryer, kettle, microwave, oven in addition to a delicious French breakfast. You don't miss anything. Comfortable stay for very good value for money. It is also close to the city center. The room is large with a high ceiling. The villa garden is very beautiful. It has several barbecues, a table, chairs, and children's games. The owner of the villa is very kind, and I noticed his interest in the guests and the provision of various things throughout the villa between here and there. I hope that the owner of the villa will not renovate the house to a modern style, because the villa, as it is, has an interesting and distinctive character as it is.
