Location was perfect.
Configuration of the bathroom was a bit off from function.

Pretty place. Very walkable. Shared living space in main house was delightful.
We got two rooms. Our daughter was in Room #16 and really liked it. We were in Room #20 (next door house) and absolutely froze. We texted the staff. They were little help. They wouldn’t fix the space heater in the room. They just told us where to find more blankets.

This hotel is a little gem, hidden almost within Harvard university grounds. The size of the room was the best, along with the quiet and nicely decorated lobby.
Parking needs to be paid separately and is not cheap. I would suggest it may be included in the hotel fee with the caveat of “first come, first serve”, but still by reservation.
Another thing to consider is coffee and a basic pastry or alike for a quick morning breakfast in the lobby area

This is a staffless BNB. All they have is coffee and tea.
Needed to have a chair or desk in the room. The lighting in the bathroom was poor. The wooden shutter in the room would not stay closed. The bath gel I could not open. I had to get staff to open the bottle.

Easy to reach
No staff, food was tasteless, noisy, room was sloped badly. For that amount of $$ should've been better all around.

We didn’t have a breakfast. The location is Fantastic. It didn’t have the charm of the old Mary Prentiss.
We missed the breakfast and cookies.

Room was very nice and spacious.
I understand the concept of no staff but would prefer occasional room cleaning.

The location is ideal for visiting our daughter, who lives in Cambridge.
The room was spacious in the bed was comfortable. The linens were nice.
I miss the breakfast and afternoon tea they had when the previous owners owned that property. My only complaint about the updated room is that the light from the refrigerator is very bright at night, and it is close to the bed, so not ideal for sleeping well.
Parking spaces were really really tight but we didn’t have issues because the parking spaces were not full. Had all of the space has been taken. I have no idea how we would’ve gotten our car in and out of there.
We prefer hotels where there are actually people onsite. However, I was easily able to reach people via text and they were in contact with us to make sure check-in went smoothly and see if we had any issues.

location
Loud, rooms hot, bed uncomfortable, TV in bedroom didn’t work but staff never fixed. Rented suite which was tiny.

Location and property were good
I had no air conditioning and despite texting with Thatch it was never fixed for my stay. They told me to use a fan, which was not acceptable. Also the confirmation said there would be an iron in the room and there wasn't. I had to leave without ironing my clothes for an event and was told later to find the iron in a closet on the second floor. I expect a refund for this stay.

Awful place, second floor, on small stairs, under the roof, no comfort, extremely expensive

The property was clean and well cared for. Easy access to the transit and great restaurants from its prime location. I would definitely stay her again .

The location and the intended finishes were wonderful.
I wrote an enormous review. The operators are obviously investors, and have no history in the hospitality industry. And it shows.

Lovely restored Victorian. Rooms were bright and comfortable with updated decor, comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Coffee and tea making available in our rooms. Lovely lounge with further pantry. Easy access with coded entry. Very responsive staff. Will definitely be back!!

The room had a chair that was very uncomfortable, so I had to work in my bed.

Room was excellent and well furnished. Very quiet.
infrequent housekeeping. I understand wanting to keep costs down but I would prefer daily cleaning, at least in the bathroom

This is a lovely historic property and it is quiet and well-maintained. It's a little weird that there is no staff. It is within a reasonable walking distance of Harvard Square. The small lobby is cute and comfortable.
There is no elevator, so when staying on the third floor, pack light. Our room was up there in the "Hideaway" (attic) and was very small compared to the rooms on the lower floors. There was no closet and the ceiling was sloped in both the bedroom and bath, making it easy to hit one's head repeatedly. The bathroom was not well-appointed or stocked, and was very cramped, with no place to put basic toiletries. There is no housekeeping service during your stay. Some rooms had a mini-fridge, but ours did not. The coffee machine in the lobby was broken at least half of the time. They were very nice to accomodate an earlier check-in, but check-out is at 10:30 AM with no exceptions. There is no secure place to store luggage after checking out.

Location was perfect. A short and safe walk to Harvard Square. House is beautiful and room was very spacious. Street has plenty of fantastic restaurants and coffee shops.
My room was situated right by the front door, so I could hear every entry and exit. If you're a light sleeper, that's not ideal. Light staff so if you need daily cleaning and service, it may be a challenge- especially for an extended stay.
