About this house rental

Perfect for entertaining, the property sits on 5 acres with a level, sandy beach, 300 feet of shoreline, 150 feet of swimming, and two docks on Lake Belle Taine. We are 1/4 mile from the Heartland trail, 3 miles to Dorest, and to Nevis. Enjoy an array of amenities, including a Weber propane three-burner grill, outdoor patio tables seating 20, 2 paddle boards, 2 kayaks, a pedal boat, and life jackets for 10. The outdoor entertainment continues with a campfire area with chairs for over 20 people, 2 sets of cornhole boards, several outdoor games, and a kid's shed full of beach toys.

This house was made with families in mind!

We also offer weekly pontoon rentals for $250/day.

We so enjoyed our 2nd stay in this beautiful home! My husband and I rent for our family - 7 kids, 4 spouses and now 5 grandchildren. It's becoming our home away from home for a summer get-away, supplying all the comforts we appreciate! Communication with the owners is clear and easy. We will be back next year again!!

We had a wonderful week at the cabin. The weather was perfect and we spent most of our trip in the water. The beach and the use of kayaks, paddle boards and the pedal boat were all favorites for the kids. The cabin fit all 14 of us comfortably. We all appreciated the amenities offered to us to make us feel at home. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us this week!

We had an absolutely phenomenal stay here. The property accomodated our large crew perfectly with enough activities and space for everyone. The beach was nicely groomed, the water was crystal clear, the kitchen was large, and there were enough beds for everyone to sleep. This property far exceeded our expectations! We are hoping to plan another trip here, it was just that good!

We hosted our family Christmas here this year. The property is absolutely beautiful and perfect for a large family gathering, from the youngest child to the great-grandma. Very child friendly, with a great stairway gate to keep the toddlers safe, and no need to haul the pack and play, high chair, etc. The long kitchen counter with seating for 12 worked out great for feeding kids and setting up for the buffet. 2 refrigeratos were much appreciated! Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, so nobody felt like we were always on top of each other. The house was beautifully decorated for the holidays including a very large Christmas tree that brought an absolute look of awe from my 6 year old grandson as he walked in the door. We had a memorable weekend, and would definitely choose this property again!

This was an ideal property for my 15 college friends and their adult children attending a wedding nearby. We appreciated having enough chairs and lounge space for the 15 of us. The five bedrooms worked really well as we had a lot of couples, as did the four bathrooms as we all had to get spiffed up at the same time. The setting is beautiful, the kitchen well-equipped, and the vibe casual. There was not the extensive list of "don'ts" you sometimes find awaiting you. Thanks for making this available to us!

Our stay @ the Gathering House was wonderful. I don't think there was a single thing we needed that wasn't already thought of and supplied. The Blackstone grill was a life-saver for cooking for our big group (and fun too!). We'll be back next year for more family adventures - THANK YOU!!

How fantastic! It was lovely to get our whole family together at this location! They have thought of everything! Not only do they have great sleeping arrangements, but all beds had comfortable mattresses, good/warm blankets, and enough space for everyone to have their own space. They were well organized and so kind to talk to with any questions that popped up. Highly recommend!

This property was great for our Extended Family vacation that consisted of grandparents, parent/children and grandchildren all getting together and staying in one place. This property was great for 20 of us (includes one baby). The eating area fit us all well for each meal and had everything needed to prepare. The kayaks, paddle boards and paddle boat were used a lot and the beach/water was perfect. We also had a bonfire every night and there were enough chairs provided. Everything was great!

Our weekend at the property was the perfect getaway! The location is idyllic. It's quiet, nicely modern with traditional cabin vibes, and a vast array of activities (water related and not) to keep everyone busy. We could set sail in kayaks, paddle boards and the ever popular peddle boat from the dock and the fish bit all day long! The huge outdoor porch was great for happy hour, board games, and dinners at sunset. There are bike trails near by that take you right into Nevis where you should definitely hit up the ice cream shop and take a picture with the "World's Largest Tiger Muskie". We comfortably slept 13 people (6 adults, 7 kids) and everyone had enough space to find some quiet when they needed it. The hosts were great and super easy to work with. We will definitely be back!

The house was equipped with absolutely everything we needed to cook large meals for our group of 18. The beds and pillows were all comfy, plenty of extra pillows and bedding available for pull out couches. The location was great for getting to snowmobile trails less than a mile away. Can’t say anything negative at all about our stay, the process, our hosts or accommodations. The house was clean and tidy, the kids loved the craft drawer with play dough and puzzles and other games. Would love to come here on summer as top notch place to stay.
