A relaxing, pristine, and enjoyable stay, with attentive hosts

Whole stay was great, done everything I wanted to do and a little more. Letterkenny is a great little Town, and has everything you need, that serves as a gateway to Donegal.

Everything was as expected.

Great for budget travellers but lacks refinement.

Located at the top of the high street, within easy walking distance to pubs and eateries. Mel allowed take out food to be consumed on the premises. Cheap for location. Was able to get an early start, as not restricted by breakfast ( not included)

Single bed room was a box room, only a hanger on the back of the door because of limited space. Wish I had paid a little extra for bigger room. No dedicated secure parking, but Mel allowed me to park my motorbike outside the back gate, but was in view of main street.

Location, cleanliness and good distance to drive to the main parks.

The property is located in city centre, very close to everything.

A bit noisy in the night but after of a busy day, it wasn’t problem.

Superb

Comfortable clean with a good shower. Good restaurants and bars nearby. And a kitchen and seating area to make basic tea coffee toast etc. Would stay again.

absolutely disgrace!! so we come from UK my phone have no internet while enter Ireland and we book this bnb for a night stay because our friends wedding near by. however we arrived late at the night after the wedding finish(we drove straight to the hotel from uk)so we haven’t go this bnb first. however when we finish our friends wedding at night we rang the landlord and she reject to let us stay although i PAID the FULL price.she said she was sleep and she wouldn’t open door for us because us arrived too late!!? How dare?!!and we polite ask she to do a refund so we can book another hotel cuz we have no where to stay tonight!!! and she said she can’t help then hang up the phone!!!my and my hubby have to go another hotel spent almost £200 for a night to stay because of it!! Totally disgrace and please be aware this property. we never received any services and the landlord reject to refund at all.

Great location and clean

No ensuite had to share bathroom with other guests..room on road front was very noisy although Mel did mention it would be on a Saturday night. Also walls need insulating as could hear guests talking pm and snoring in adjacent room !

More than met my needs. Mel makes you feel very welcome and relaxed.

Mel was very welcoming and helpful. There were civil works on the street in front and Mel went out of her way to find me a parking space which I very much appreciated. The room was comfortable and suited me as I was travelling alone. The place was spotlessly clean and tidy.

Exceptional

The best time I had during my 20-day travel around Ireland was in their house. Guest rooms are upstairs, kitchen and living room downstairs are made available for guests for hanging out. In addition to being spotless, the room is generously well heated during the coldest days despite the increased energy cost. Mel and her husband are one of those small business owners that have been adversely affected by the COVID pandemic. They opened up their house for visitors not long ago to make up for the lost income from their own small business. They are hospitable, and they expect guests to respect their property.

it was ok .

all was grand good location

landlady didn’t keave us alone . she’s harmless but we felt we had adult supervision over us . like we paid €170 for one night and least we cudda done had our own privacy . then husband comes and then their friends . like check us in show us around . and leave us to it . husband in house this morn before we got up . I do understand their house . but that’s joys of a air b&b leave us to it thanks anyways

It was very central to everything, Mel was very nice and welcoming 😃

Maybe television in rooms but wasn't really essential as everything was available downstairs
