Passable

Large room, we were a family of three so our child of 9 could sleep comfortably as well.spacious is what we had booked.

Staff lost ,not proactive, clueless not trained properly, Dinner came in a plastic tray with bland taste portions were less.

Excellent Hotel & Staff

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Muscatel Roma with a group of friends for three nights. Our party of eight had a fantastic experience, largely thanks to the warm and friendly hotel staff. Mr. Philip, in particular, stood out for his exceptional assistance, making our stay even more enjoyable. But elders, keep in mind that the hotel is situated on a 1-minute steep slope; for young people, it's negligible. I highly recommend Muscatel Roma to anyone visiting Darjeeling – a truly memorable experience awaits. I would rate it 5/5 stars.

Very good location. Very close to city center. Althought way to hotel was a bit steep but, we do not care. Some rooms has nice view to valley. The street was very far from city traffic, so, possible to have silent nights.

Breakfast area was a bit far, in another building.

Wonderful

We were accamodated in the best available room by the receptionist (missing her name sorry, starts with S). She was kind enough to help us out with extra privileges as it was raining badly. Safar too is a wonderful steward, he is on his toes to make guests happy and comfortable

Would hv been good if a room heater and mosquito repellent cld be made available

Considering the price range, the hotel surpassed the majority of other accommodations. The staff displayed remarkable helpfulness and were always prepared to assist. Moreover, the cleanliness of the hotel was commendable.

The location fell short of expectations, despite its proximity to the taxi stand. The main drawback is its position on a steep road, making it challenging to navigate, particularly for older individuals. It is advisable to avoid this location if you are traveling with elderly people.

Over all staff behavior is very very unprofessional

The way they attend call and speak specially the one and only with High attitude manger non -other than Bindiya chhetri every time asking for money 💰 money and last all about money. I think they are big hotel chain and unprofessional of staff and service towards guest is zero...all first meet and greet but this hotel manager ask money first. The place is really unhygienic with keeping mop and dusting item near room. Wifi is totally zero....having totally waste of money. Please keep your staff train and smilies on the way... And save Darjeeling Tourism. We must make that customer must be first priority not money. Because money comes form doing works.... PS: I don't have personal but it's really unprofessional talking rude on phone

Good value, excellent care by staff..

Excellent and caring staff. Nikhil invested a lot of effort in bringing us warm milk for the baby several times, and gave personal attention to whether we are taken care of during breakfast - personal attention making you feel warm and welcome. Samiksha from front desk ensured we have everything needed. Room is modest but you have the facilities needed - all day hot water, electric bed warmer, etc.

The last 100 meters of the road to the hotel is steep and narrow. To be taken into account if you have a lot of luggage. There is a scope for finding an alternative to the naphthalene balls in the bathroom. Something else could be used for cleanliness. Naphthalene fumes are not good for aroma or for health.

cool Place (Double meaning)

the location was perfect and the room was pretty.

although they had electric blankets on the bed, the room was very cold because there was no heating. I had a cold and it was very difficult at night in this room or when I had to get out of the bed. also it was wet in the room. in the morning all sheets were wet. I think it’s not ok that guests have to freeze in the room.

The staff is well mannered and the location of the hotel is also very near to the Mall road.

The bathroom was missing a wiper and the hotel was charging 350/- per night. As they we’re already charging premium, this should be included with the package.

Clean and nice hotel with amazing staff

Nice hotel, with lovely simple rooms, extremely clean and they had heating blankets which is very much needed in Darjeeling. Kiran and Samiksha were very nice and helpful, especially with organizing local shared jeep in town. Would come back, thanks!

it’s located a bit uphill, so you need to climb a bit which wasn’t an issue for me

The room was cozy and clean , the bed sheets and blankets were excellent and it is located in the main chowribazar area. All major shopping and dining places are a walk away.

The bed wasn't as comfortable as i expected. The showers faucets didn't work properly and toilet lid could have better . I felt the rooms were tad smaller.

Superb

It was really a great place to stay, room was really clean and spacious. One really good thing which I liked very much was that electric bed warmer device and the food was also good. I really praise the polite behaviour of the staff specially front end executive Mr. Salim Rai, he is such a nice guy. And all the staff were really friendly to make your stay memorable.
