Freshly renovated hotel, nicely decorated with some touches of old Portuguese furniture. Owned by a family who greatly takes care to run this place as good as they can. Great hospitality from the owners and great breakfast with some fruits from their own trees.
Though, this place matched our expectation I would like to make few suggestion to improve:
1. Safety mirror on the street when exiting property by car. It's simply dangerous, because you don't see the street and Portuguese drivers are sometimes crazy.
2. Gap between entrance door to our room and the floor. During night we could hear other guests coming to their rooms and also lights slightly disturb the sleep.
3. Small shelf in the shower cabin would be great to have to place at least a shower gel/shampoo.

Excellent modern accommodation. Very clean, wonderful balcony views, great chance for relaxation at the pool. Breakfast excellent, home made pastries were a personal favourite. Owners on site, always wanting to help with drinks and recommendations. Restaurant and facilities 5-7 minutes away by car, beach a bit closer.
Nothing to report.

The owners. Real mom and pop service. I mentioned a Portuguese dish that I liked growing up in Massachusetts and the next morning she made it. Wow? I don't eat breakfast so I took it to go and ate it for lunch in a park at 5K feet. Meat bread, cherries, and grapes after a short one mile hike. What more could you want? They also had decaf coffee which seems to be hard to find. I liked the automatic shutters and played around with then like a 10 year old. My wife liked the modern design. They made reservations for us at a local restaurant that was outstanding. You have to order ahead of time and we booked at 7 pm. So, we had to agree one what they had and what we liked. I lucked into octopus on the grill because another customer ordered it and they had more available. Chance is a great thing when you travel. It can go bad, but it can go very good to outstanding. This was one of those outstanding days.
I'd like to find something, but if there was something, the good swamped any recollection of any shortcomings. Unlike many places, the owners exceeded our expectations. I liked figuring out how to open the outdoor doors so that was actually a positive.

This enchanting haven exceeds all expectations, as the thoughtful hosts have meticulously attended to every detail. Savor the locally-sourced, warm breakfast, which offers a delectable symphony of flavors. Portugal's beauty and charm are exemplified here, making this destination an unmissable gem. Hesitate no longer – secure your reservation at this remarkable retreat.
Nothing to not like.

This hotel is brand new building with comfortable furnitures, great view on Douro area landscapes and big and clean rooms.
The owner is very polite, positive and helpful. The hotel serves delicious breakfests, with great homemade sweets, fruits, cheese and much more.
There is also possibility to leave the car in closed private area near building.
I highly recomend this location if you want to visit Douro region and also arrive to Porto by car.

New build with amazing views over the countryside. Could even hear a choir singing while sitting on my balcony from a church in the distance. The rooms/whole house is extremely tastefully done and the bed was so comfy. Hosts were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and yum. Would highly recommend.
That I don’t own it! 😂
Fabulous house with amazing views.

Manuel, the owner, was an exceptionally warm and attentive host and he helped us with every thing we needed. The room itself was, by far, the largest and aeriest we stayed during our visit to Portugal. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh and we loved it.
