Nice and pleasant area.
Staff very friendly and always supporting. Well trained and kind.

First time staying at Kappa Senses and I was amazed by a great deal of things from them.
1. Location was good for people who wanted to escape the bustling lifestyle of a typical city, and just escape into the serenity of the landscape surrounding Kappa Senses (i.e. the rice paddy fields and forests).
2. Breakfast spread was pretty good - enjoyed a nice quiet breakfast with a variety of local dishes as well as international options. Sat directly next to the paddy fields and enjoyed a clear beautiful sky to start the morning.
3. Gym facility is relatively good for the hotel albeit slightly small. It's open 24/7 which is good, and has all the basic equipments to fulfil my workouts.
4. Staff were very friendly and helpful to make one feel welcomed during their stay.
5. My room was absolutely impressive as I had a bedroom villa with a private pool and a huge outdoor bathroom. For the price I paid, it was absolutely worth the stay. For what it's worth, what you get is exactly as displayed on their pictures online.
Whilst I enjoyed the location being surrounded by the peacefulness of nature, it is also quite a distance from other tourist sites i.e. the Ubud city center as well as many other attractions. But I took the trip to Bali to escape the hustle and bustle, so I didn't mind it.

De locatie van het resort is heel centraal maar toch weg uit de drukte.
Al het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Hygiëne is geweldig.

Top notch place, the villa/room was amazing

We had a fantastic 4 night stay with half board (which was a great buffet breakfast and a generous two course meal of your choosing + drink each day). The room was large and private. There were plenty of diverse food and drink options on site, including by the quiet pools. Service was friendly everywhere we went with many staff remembering our names and room number, making the experience personal and particularly welcoming. There was also a free shuttle into town at intervals and daily activities scheduled around the resort- we joined yoga classes, walked through rice fields, and visited a local home in the neighbouring village. The on-site spa is a little expensive but that is to be expected given the products used are Clarins. The treatments were professional and you are given time to relax and enjoy the facilities before and after- only downside was the lack of airconditioning after the reception area (i.e. treatment rooms can be quite warm depending on the time of day). Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a retreat experience. Everything is taken care of and you can really unwind here.

No doubt, my best stay ever in South East Asia – highly, highly recommend.
The hotel itself is superb, rooms are mini villas (most of them having their own pool), amazing cuisine and breakfast, 2 heavenly pools and a vibe that's pure serenity and bliss. The staff? Incredibly warm and welcoming. Shoutouts to Santi, Nathan and the rest of the team – they make magic happen.
Oh, also loved dining with a view of those stunning rice terraces.
Dreamy spa, free shuttles and yoga sessions…they've nailed it. I had one of the best Balinese massage here out of the 15 i had since I got in Indonesia. If you crave peace and a glimpse of paradise, Kappa Senses is your place.

The room layout was awkward with the bathroom being at the entrance - not great for a family or a couple that may want some space in the bathroom (it’s completely meshed with the room). There’s also no place to sit in the room except for the bed. The food was not great at all (room dining and main area) except for their “fancy” restaurant which did thankfully have amazing food but not enough options to keep eating there. We had a rat situation which took a while to sort but thankfully got sorted (we switched to a different room). Lastly it was mostly small stuff like the pool not opening earlier (and even having to call staff because no one would be around when the pool was open) to having to wait in a queue at breakfast to make your own drinks . It just didn’t feel like a 5 star resort.

Location, room, cleanliness, peaceful, staff
Very small portions for the Asian food. Only two courses included for half board.

We really enjoyed the hottub on our balcony.
We also liked the lush green environment.
During the second day of our stay, after eating in their pool restaurant, I got really sick with food poisoning. I was in bed during the entire stay and the entire situation was handled extremely poorly. The staff came up to our room to check how I was doing only once and offered me just a free coconut. We still had to pay the entire restaurant bill.
Things we didnt like about our stay:
The food wasn’t good, the taste was either very salty or extremely bland. The breakfast is chaotic and the coffee has a bad taste/smell to it.
The doors in the room dont close fully and even the walls and ceilings have some serious gaps. Resulting in a lot of insects in the room including gecko’s that produce a lot of noise.
The smell in the resort, it smells like a piggy farm and there is an extreme amount of smoke in the evenings.
The cleaning standards should be improved. Especially the cleanliness of the bathroom left a lot to be desired.
We travel the world profesionally and never had such an awful experience at a 5 star resort. 1/5 would not recommend staying here.

I really like the architecture and in the whole Hotel were different arts! Which was like a museum:)
it was really calm and relax feeling in the whole hotel!
The Coffee in the breakfast! It was Cheap from the Machine.
You have an amazing view and a nice different multicultural Breakfast.
To campare with it, there should be a Barista who
makes fresh coffee or Cappuccino etc.
