We had one of the bungalow type properties by the pool, the location was fantastic and although it is near the swimming pools it is very quiet. The property was clean and very spacious with a massive double bed. Loved having our own private area with sun loungers and tables and chairs.
There was nothing we didn’t like about the property

great location and very quiet. The food and service was excellent. we really liked the tagging arrangement of the sun beds which takes away the towels on sun beds first thing in the morning! A great idea!
Building work going on next door. Don’t request a side view room if you want a quiet room as you will be overlooking the air conditioning units and service area.

There was a varied selection at breakfast and everything was fresh. The dinners were good too. The pool area and garden are nicely kept. The Spa was well presented and well run.
Restaurant drinks were extra for half board, and overpriced. The room key cards were cancelled before the 11am time limit so we had to go down to reception arrange for retrieval of our already packed luggage. The sunbeds are allocated to avoid disagreements; the available beds were in the shade for much of the day.

Location is great with direct access to the beach. Pool area is lovely and the sunbed system is a very good idea. Pool is heated during the winter months. Spa ar
ea is fantastic and the circuit is brilliant many other hotels would charge but its all included as an all inclusive guest. Food was very good especially in the pool bar, the hot stone steak was excellent. Gala dinner on Christmas day was exceptional so much choice. The staff that serve the outdoor area of the restaurant were also brilliant, extremely attentive.
We had the suite with jacuzzi which was just amazing so worth paying for the upgrade.
Some staff not so friendly felt like you were incrementing. Alot of favouritism towards the German guests which was around 80%. If you like having fun and laugh alot be prepared for the looks or stares.

What a fantastic hotel, excellent staff and facilities.
So clean and comfortable.
Reception helpful and happy!
Fatima at the SPA 10/10.
Completely understand the smoking zones, however non-smokers have taken over the smoking area by the pool which is unfortunate as the smokers cannot smoke in the non smoking area but the non smokers dont smoke and take over the smoking beds!!!!!

The breakfast was very rich with a lot of options. The location was great since it was directly by the beach and close to everything you need. The staff was friendly overall and very helpful.
There was a huge construction site just next to the hotel, which means there was not one quiet minute starting from 8am. We have not been informed previous to our stay about that. The food other than the breakfast was not really good in quality which is a shame for an all inclusive hotel. Overall our stay was okay but we’d definitely not come back as all inclusive is not at all our thing.

Activities
Water in SPA facilities too cold for my taste
Tennis court surface needs redone
Tennis racquets and balls were in pretty poor condition. If you have a court it's worth investing 100 euros in two basic racquets and redo the strings every 2-3 months. Also, balls need changing at least 2-3 weeks.
More veggie and vegan main dishes in the restaurant, it's almost 2022 and more and more have these preferences.

The Spa was excellent
The choice of drinks was very restricted. Mainly beer. They only had one very poor beer at the bar with no bottled beers (even spanish ones)

Locality is great, room view nice, breakfast very rich and good
Safety deposit was mentioned as included in the room equipment but finally extra charge per day was asked to be able to use it. In half board dinner no any drink, even plain water is included.

I both loved this property and the location. There is something very sweet about this part of San Agustin. It reminds me of how resorts used to be back in the day when I was a kid in the 80s. The places we used to go that were closer to where we lived. Everything has been maintained beautifully.
Even though it is a smaller resort it has everything you need and the spa is exceptional. The gym also has the best people working for them that make certain everyone is involved in fun activities. The pool is a good size. The garden has enough space for everyone and has a lovely ambiance about it. The staff is amazing! Helpful, considerate and warm people.
There is nothing I disliked. There are though a few points I would like to highlight to anyone travelling there that they might want to consider:
1) Most customers of the resort were between 70-90 with very few exceptions. This depending on the viewpoint can be an attribute or not.
2) The sand is blackish. Not completely black like in places in Santorini but not yellow either. It's not a striking colour nor a very attractive one. However, it is the fluffiest and softest sand I've ever experienced. Also, it is magnetic. Endless hours of fun playing with my magnet and the sand :D The waters are very clear and the beach very clean.
3) It is a very quiet spot. This to me was merit but some might prefer a busier place.
