i d come again- lovely people, lots to do

up to date decor, nice being an apartment rather than just a room. balcony was a big plus. staff were really lovely. good little shop for supplies.

everything a bit tired and worn. only just self-catering and very basic. shown up by the decor of sister hotel where you had your breakfast.

broken items, soap pump not working, soap splushed and my dress and I could not wear it for the night. one light switch missing, another light switch covered in tape, rust in the bathtub, peeling paint on the floor, no coffee/tea in the room. wifi did not reach the room.

Hotel located at a very long and beautiful beach, great breakfast in the Main hotel building, outdoor Pool close to beach, clean and good temperature, room comfortable and functional, very good beds, overall good value for the price

Disjointed shabby

The staff at reception on the whole were friendly

Tired and run down. No room cleaning or fresh towels or bin emptying unless requested 24 hours in advance. Lots of things were very shabby. Cooker needed to be fixed. Toilet was difficult to flush . TV remote was useless. Extractor fan on cooker didn't work causing fire alarm to alert reception. Butt no alarm in room. Full length length window between room and bathroom giving no privacy. Pool bar and restaurant shut down and in disrepair with overgrown weeds.

The location was very good since it was close to the beach particularly the Tres Irmaos Beach with it's beautiful coves. There were several good restaurants nearby. The room offered a nice view from the 6th floor in the Superior Studio.

The apartment was not in the best condition. The floors were warped and the front and bathroom doors wouldn't shut. There was mold in the shower. The kitchen only had 2 glasses. Many of the amenities weren't available but not indicated on the website upon booking. The bed was so hard it made for a very uncomfortable sleep.

Great location!

Location, view, very friendly and competent staff, the pool, supermarket and Bowling just around the corner.

Mattress a bit hard for me. More kitchen utensils and a small dishwasher would be great. Some dishes were not properly cleaned.

Amazing vacations

The staff is amazingly friendly and the location is perfect! The views from the apartments are very beautiful. Near the beach and in a walking distance from the Alvor center.

a great view on the ocean and 24h opened pool

Hotel is obsolete and not well maintained for the high price we paid. Entrance and bathroom doors were barely moving, bathroom facilities are horrible: no fan, shower is broken. Room was not 100% clean and it smelled like nobody was living at it for years. WiFi is hardly loading a single page. Not recommended, you can get a better offer for this budget.

Been going to Alvor for more than 20 years

Location excellent, very good balcony with full sea view - We have stayed at Pestana Hotels in Alvor for many years but it was the 1st.time in an apartment and it suited our needs now that we are older

My only comment is that bath was stained !! - It is not a major problem but, Pestana have such high standards over everything that the bath in Room 707 need attention
