Enttäuschen, da nicht an Deck

Generell sollte man auf das Deck kommen, wenn man schon auf einem Dreimaster übernachtet. Da das Restaurante zu war, war das nicht möglich. Das war sehr, sehr schlecht und würde das Hotel nicht weiter empfehlen, wenn man nicht an Deck kommt!!!

Piever acis uz sīkumiem un izbaudi kuģi!

Lieliska atrašanās vieta, neizsakāmi skaists kuģis un skati. Plašs numurs un ērta vannas istaba. Brokastis bija ar pietiekoši plašu izvēli.

Matrači bija izgulēti. Diemžēl gultu uzbūve neļauj kārtīgi zem/ aiz tām iztīrīt, bet pa tām spraugām ir samesti ļoti daudz atkritumi. Tas bija lielākais mīnuss. Recepcijā ierobežots darba laiks, nebija konkrēta vieta, kur nolikt atslēgas pie izrakstīšanās.

War mal was anderes

Die Lage war super, das Schiff liegt ja direkt im Hafen von Göteborg!!! Das Frühstück war top, man konnte sich sogar frisch Waffeln backen

Es ist an einigen Stellen Schäden zu entdecken, vorallem auf dem Sonnendeck war einiges kaputt und vermutlich schon lange nicht mehr benutzt

Beautiful Stay - Perfect Accommodation

A basic but beautiful cabin room. gorgeous characteristics, of a victorious boat. I enjoyed my experience of staying at the accommodations!

Maritime feelings in Gothenburg

It was a very unique and comfortable atmosphere on this old ship, located very well in the city center. The breakfast was also quite good and staff was friendly and helpful altough they had a stressful weekend due to big concerts in the city.

The time for baggage storage is limited on weekends due to a low presence of staff.

What was supposed to be a pleasant experience (hotel on a real ship) turned into a disaster. I had to sleep in the lobby on the first night because checking in was impossible, even during working hours. They promised me a refund which never came through. Guests waiting to check-in or fixing their demagnetized room keys were lining up all the time to call the dedicated number, since there’s no in-person staff. Room service was never provided in 3 days. Check out the other reviews if you don’t believe me and stay away from this place.

The check in process was a little odd. I arrived early afternoon, You get buzzed in and then have to use a phone to call reception for them to cut your access keys. I didn't see one staff member during my stay so felt a little disconnected.

I like setting, environment and location, but didn't like the check-in process.

Enjoyed the setting and the quiet. Breakfast satisfactory. Short distance to railway station and opera. The two stadf members we met were pleasant and helpful.

Being old I found electronic check-in system complicated and didn't even know, until half an hour after my arrival, what I had to do until a passing cleaner told me. Also, there was no reading light by the bed.

Great sailing ship with lovely maritime interior and outside decks during summer

I love the maritime and historic feel

A bit unclear check-in process outside of reception hours, took 3 days and after my stay was completed to get answer on the messenging service regarding late check-out

Very good

Good breakfast and the hotel staff provided me with some vegan meat alternatives which I really appreciated. The room and bed were spacious and very comfortable.

Check in was straightforward however the lack of reception staff was a little strange.

Exceptional

This was such an amazing place to stay, it was quirky and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and all staff friendly. I booked a cabin with a shared bathroom which was close to the cabin and perfect for saving a few pennies.

If I'm picking at anything it was just that the shared bathroom details weren't explained at check in I had to go look for it. I found the showers but had to ask for help locating the bathroom but thats just a picky point

Great experience sleeping/staying on a ship, but do not choose the bunk beds!

The experience to be on a sailing ship was great - the cabins, the old style interior, the huge space down in the storage-space with cosy couches, some artefacts and pictures from the time when the ship actually have been sailing (ca. 100 yrs ago ;). Extraordinary :) Especially compared to a "normal" hotel. Absolutely recommendable. Sadly it was not possible to go on deck - That would have been marvellous.

The bunk-beds were horrible to sleep in, very noisy, really small space to the ceiling, partly without railing/fence so you fear to fall down and extremely unsolid - felt like they would entirely crash down... :( Unflexible - although we received the message that for GLUTENFREE breakfast we only needed to tell the breakfast staff - it turned out that they ran out of glutenfree bread and were not able to get some new due to "weekend" where suppliers do not come by... :/

Very good breakfast buffet and spacious lounge area, offset by basic facilities Plenty of room for improvement

No TV reception, checked by technician but no attempt made to provide it. No window in room. For 5 night stay, room was poorly located while there were plenty of empty ones which were. No basin plug, very uncomfortable chair. Very poor quality body wash
