Sehr zentrale Lage. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Sehr nettes Personal.

Das Frühstück bietet alles, was man so braucht.

Lovely room, breakfast very good and frequently refreshed. Perfect location to explore beautiful Marburg
The air con wasn’t effective so the room was hot overnight.

Room was fine and the location was great
The AC was broken in the entire hotel, and it was 37 C outside. It was still hot with the windows open and fan on. Also extremely loud because it was near the city center. I stayed 2 nights and my colleague stayed 4 nights nothing changed with AC, staff was unapologetic

The Welcome Hotel has a fantastic, unbeatable location in the very heart of the town of Marburg, Germany. We were in town to attend a friend’s wedding and we never were more than 5-10 minutes walk than all of the event locations. The town of Marburg has a very steep hill in the middle of the town but fortunately there is a free elevator immediately across from the Welcome Hotel. Most of the restaurants and notable attractions are on top of the hill so the elevator was very helpful.
In terms of the room itself, the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was a good size but the shower stall was on the smaller side (especially compared to the standard shower stall size in the US).
Another highlight of the Welcome Hotel is the very extensive and appetizing breakfast buffet they offer. They have a massive breakfast space for the guests. Things can get a little crowded and chaotic during the peak of the breakfast rush but not too bad. We enjoyed the eggs, various breads and the largest muesli / fruit/ nuts/ yoghurt bar we have seen. Part of the breakfast seating area is outside so it was a treat to dine al fresco.
Something that management should look into addressing is the door between the indoor and outdoor breakfast space. The staff seemed to prop it open for their convenience since the weather was nice and their hands were full of plates being cleared. However, some guests kept closing the door because they might have disliked the breeze (it was actually quite nice). Management should look for an automatic door solution for the sake of their staff.

The room was very comfortable. It had a small office space for me to work, right next to the window. Breakfast was pretty good, with a variety of things to try out every day of my stay. Since the hotel is located in a prime location, I had no problems finding a good restaurant to have my dinner. I would definitely stay here.
There were two sets of towels for a room that had only one person staying. For the environment's sake, I would ask them to keep one set. Also, the lighting in the room could be a couple of shades brighter. The lighting was cosy, but not very conducive for work.

Everything was lovely. I only wish there was a Gym on site. However, I found on close to the hotel. the room I was in was very spacious. The Staff was very patient and helpful.
There were some small repairs that needed to be around the hotel that might have needed to be done, But it didn't effect the quality of my stay

I liked the breakfast and the hotel is located at the center of Marburg.
To eat breakfast, you need to make a reservation from time slots that the hotel decides. I would prefer flexibility and eat whenever I want to.
In addition, the bed sheets didn't smell well. I was not sure if the sheets were clean. Perhaps, the cleaning material was not good.
