Breakfast was average. Coffee mediocre.
No restaurant. Frozen snacks that could microwaved were a little disappointing. Pool area quite limited and usally full during heat of the day. Main building ac not very effective. Annex building great ac.

Don’t stay in noisy Florence downtown unless you are 18 yo and your desire is party till you drop down dead.
This villa is an ideal escape from tourist hell.
Parking, decent facilities, fair price.
It’s a bit old-fashioned and used but whole Italy is like that unless you stay at Four Seasons
There is no 85” TV on the wall but who needs Netflix when you are staying in one of the greatest cities on Earth.

Lovely hotel outside of the business of the inner city - flat easy 25 minute walk into the center of Florence

The property itself was beautiful! Gives you a very luxurious vibe. The location is beautiful but far from city centre. So if you’re looking for something near the major attractions, this is not it. However, if you’re looking for an area where you can get amazing views, food and nature, this is the right hotel for you. The staff is amazing too! Especially Ahmad.
When you turn on the bathroom’s light, the annoying ventilation fan is also turned on automatically which is very that disturbed me. That’s it!

Quiet and Convenient location within a walking distance from the main attractions. Very green environment. Polite and helpful staff.
Some rooms and the common spaces need to be « refreshed ». I saw small marks and stains on the walls, damage from a leak in the breakfast room, etc

very dirty place, old, broken lift, not worth the money at all

The bed was very large and very comfortable for us, the breakfast was well stocked and fresh and lots of choice. The staff were all lovely and accommodating and our room was cleaned every day during our stay. We had the comfort double (more like a super king bed) which had plenty of space in the room with shower over the bath. Sadly we didn't get to use the pool with the weather. But the pool and area of the pool looked clean and well looked after. Generally we enjoyed the stay here, the bus stop to the centre of Florence is minutes away or it is a 30 min walk which is we did some days. The location though is great and quiet and easy to get to.
There were some things in the building that looked tired and old. But I wouldn't put it down as a dislike as the place showed character. I did notice the tap mixers are the wrong way round in our bathroom. So I ended up having a very cold shower as I put the shower to hot, but not knowing at first it was actually cold. So, once changed to the cold, there was hot water. I expect a lot of people would do the same.

The breakfast was nice but it should be for €15 per person.
The location and surroundings are nice.
The bed was very comfortable.
The bus stop is convenient for easy transfer to the city center.
The personnel can be a little friendlier and smile more.
Second experience below.
I forgot 2 personal items at the breakfast table on two different days. When I inquired about it at the desk they said no one from the kitchen found anything, both times. I never lost anything before at any other hotel.
The bathroom din not have a curtain or any other enclosure on the bathtub, you have to shower very carefully so not to spill the water all over the floor. Also no hooks to hang your towels near the tub.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, they were able to accomodate my early arrival and various questions.
I am overall happy that I booked this hotel because I really like the area where it is located.
However, there were spider webs in my room which looked like they had been there for quite some time. The room was cold and the heating system broken, so I could not turn it on.
Previous to booking I called to ask how long it would take to get to the Uffizi and I was told around 10 minutes - upon arrival I asked the same question and was told 20 minutes - the latter is closer to reality, since it can take even longer than 20 minutes and I consider myself a fast walker.

I liked the location of the property. It was a beautiful area and very quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The carpet in the hallways needs to be clean and the smell of mildew needs to be removed. The exhaust in the bathroom need to be fixed. The water from shower in my room would leak to the floor because of the lack of maintenance on the door. The hotel needs a lot of maintenance work to bring it back to his potencial.

Beautiful villa but old
Room was dated
Toilet door didn’t shut

We actually liked the location of the property.
Don’t get me started:
1- the corridors have spiders all over the ceiling
2- the bathroom have black mold on the walls and in the sink.
3- the walls are way too thin, you could hear the other rooms if they’re talking.
4- in the morning, we had to wake up at 7:30 because the other customers were up at that time.
5- the front desk staff lady was just careless. We notified her that the phone in our room isn’t working, she said she’ll send someone to fix it, but never did.
6- there aren’t any help to take your luggage to the room, and the property had many stairs.
7- it was overpriced, we actually ended up leaving to another hotel, with 1/3 of the price and much bigger room.
it’s just not worth it at all.

have been in the Villa Carlotta 10 years ago. while it kept it charme, the place have been taken care off. the rooms are in villa style and tidy.
two key benefits for us: it is near the city but not in the middle. you can easily walk there. the second is the pool (that was build after our stay 10 years ago). you can cool off after a day walking through the city and start relaxing.

Spacious comfy room with huge bed. Friendly staff
Some minor repair details needed like fixing up one of the wood windows or the bathroom gets flooded when showering even though the screen door is well put

Breakfast was a varied spread and they did a great job of making it both healthy and delicious. Room was overall comfortable and quiet. Location was convenient for walking everywhere. 30 minute walk to the duomo and Medici chapel. 20 minute drive from both the airport and the train.
Food options were lacking outside of breakfast. Other than that, everything was great.
