All I say can about Villa Mosca is Perfection!
Such a beautiful little hotel.
8-9 rooms, amazing views!
The staff are so accommodating, starting with the bar staff Sarah, to the two front men Marco and Frederico, they both couldn’t have been better hosts!
Nothing!

The villa is perfectly located with a breathtaking sea view. The aesthetics are perfect for a vacation, from the colors, to the trees to the infinity pool and gardens. We took the studio that had a private garden with a sea view. The highlight were the amazing staff Federico, Marco, Rosa and Antonella, who made the experience memorable! We will definitely come back to this beautiful villa

The hotel is very well situated with good grounds and lovely sea view. The staff were helpful and the breakfast tasty. It was quiet but a short walk from the centre and easily accessible
Rather steep stairs up to the room with no lift available

the position was great. in a good location and with a wonderful view from the terrace and pool area
the staff were very friendly and helpful
it wasn’t possible to have drinks served by the pool during the day which would have been nice.

The staff are SO KIND, they cannot help you enough and are a credit to the hotel. And the hotel bar is excellent, we had the most delicious negronis and espressos. The pool area is breathtakingly beautiful, the purple flowers that grow in spring are wonderful. A great location near town but still quiet. A very special hotel.
Breakfast wasn’t replenished past 9am but the homemade cakes made up for it! They are wonderful.

Amazing location, just a short walk from the old town along the sea. Wonderful view from the garden. it’s a beautiful and elegant hotel run by helpful and friendly staff. Our room had three windows all facing the ocean. Will definitely stay here again.
The bathroom was very narrow. Perhaps putting up a small shelf at the dead corner around the wash basin would be helpful? But having the natural light makes up for the small inconvenience!

Very beautiful villa, great views from the pool, lovely breakfast area. Walking distance to Alghero centre and its restaurants.
Breakfast was a bit chaotic sometimes. Staff needs a bit of training. (Didn't bother to ask how our stay had been)

this property was fabulous. we were in a separate unit on the grounds. very functional, but could use a few more electric sockets and a good reading chair.
the pool and hot pool were lovely
the breakfast was really great and the coffee super.
right in town. parking was available and you could walk to everything in town.
highly recommend.

1. service was excellent.. equivalent or better then 5-star hotels. special mention to Rose, Silviana and Marcus.
2. the hotel looks better in real life then the photos. there are a lot of areas to chill- poolside looks great, outdoor breakfast area etc. all well maintained including landscaping. the photos on Booking.com makes the hotel looks cold but it is a lovely villa. well located and if I come back to Sardinia I will stay here. parking was easy too. Alghero is one of our favorite towns.

The pool is amazing! Best I’ve ever had. Live entertainment every night.
Limited staff through the day, Could do with one extra person to service the guests requests in the daytime. Safe didn’t work. stairs to the very top rooms are quite steep.

Great location- short walk along the bay to the old town. Beautiful historic hotel with modern amenities and an amazing pool with view of the horizon. Breakfast restaurant with beautiful view and great service.
Early pool closure time of 6pm to cater for bar guests. The cooking amenities at the apartment villa was lacking- no cooking utensils, cutting knife etc. the staff was however quick to supply a knife when requested.

The perfect location for exploring Alghero and the surrounding areas with the best sunset views for an Campari Spritz. Breakfast was excellent as was the infinity pool, hot tub and staff. We stayed in one of the cool outside rooms which was private, tranquil and exceptionally clean.

Amazing property, perfectly kept grounds and so relaxed. the building is absolutely beautiful with an outstanding view and wonderful staff.
The 6pm cut off for the pool can be a pain

The location is amazing and outdoor space is beautiful. All the staff were nice incredibly helpful and nice - would highly recommend this as a place to stay
The room could have had more hangers / hooks to hang coats up etc.

This is one of the nicest hotels we stayed at. Once you crossed the gate it was as if you entered a secret garden of some sort;) This is a boutique type hotel - just couple of rooms, which makes it perfect for a quiet stay. We had an amazing sea-view - although our room was not really advertised as such. Room was spacy - with astonishing high ceiling and tall windows. Breakfast was great - we loved the croissants:) Service was very attentive and nice.

Very friendly and supportive staff, excellent breakfast, parking service, spectacular views from the balcony/terrace.
On Saturday there was an all-night long party at the nearby club and despite closed windows you could hear the non classy bumbum music into the morning hours.
They let seagulls sit at the corner of the swimming pool, they also swam in it (up to 5 at the same time) which is actually pretty disgusting.

The hotel facilities were nice! The pool has great view and the jacuzzi is well-maintained. Great garden. Clean rooms.
Out of the hotels in Alghero this definitely has the most 'luxury' vibe and so the review below is from a standpoint of a luxury hotel. It would have been an amazing place otherwise. And the hotel definitely wants to be one judging by the prices.
Most of the staff (except the girl at breakfast) was rude/seemed inconvenienced by our questions.
- we were standing at the front gate with no sign or tell whether we should come in. The gate was closed
- no welcome drink, no concierge, we weren't made aware that the hotel offers massages and there's a winery with tasting visits, even though we specifically asked what to do in the area; that's just poor marketing
- the rudeness would have been fine, if only
- my girlfriend wanted some afternoon coffee with something sweet. We asked for a piece of cake or something along those lines if they have it. The answer was "sorry, we do not have anything at the moment". We said ok and ordered just coffee. The waiter came back with a plate with a piece of cake and told us "actually there are some leftovers from breakfast. You can have them." Afterwards we were charged with 5 euros for this cake that was a leftover from a breakfast we already paid for and was going to be thrown away
- we wanted to catch the bus to the airport to get our rent-a-car. We asked for the bus number and how we get a ticket. The answer was - the bus stops at the station - which is actually a street. And the tickets are purchased from a Tabbiachi down the street. We found that out at the time of getting in the bus and had to plead with the driver to wait for us to get them. If we were going to the airport to catch a flight and the bus driver did not wait...all this could have been avoided if the hotel staff did their job in assisting us.
All in all, if you are not Italian and do not know Italian, I would advise going to Sicily. Better prices, much better attitude, better views and better hotels :)

A pool for relaxing and the amazing view
Very noisy during the weekend from a club next to the villa (on the boulevard)
