A wonderful cottage in a beautiful rural area. Warm, homely and extremely comfortable.

Quirky cottage as described, has some lovely original features, well equipped kitchen, big bathroom.
Not a dislike but Needs a little TLC.and a few modernisations, as pets are allowed to stay in the property there was a distinct aroma of dog.

Spacious old cottage with lots of character, comfy bed, well equipped. Watching the sunset from the garden was a real treat. Great location - plenty of walks starting from the front door.
Some people might have trouble with the steep stairs to the bedrooms.

Lovely cottage and garden view.
I booked very last minute and had thought we’d stay in a hotel room. I can’t believe we had all this for the same price or less!
It was bigger than I’d expected too and we had a very enjoyable, relaxing stay.
Ran out of loo roll almost immediately and had to go and buy some!

Cosy. Lovely views.
Needed a good clean.
Mould on the ceiling in the bedroom.
Couldn't cook anything as smoke alarm goes off continually when using the stove top.

We loved Moonfleat , it’s an old quirky cottage and was perfect for our 4 night break , I managed to use the carport ( it is quite tight but I got our estate car in there) the cottage itself is functional and has everything you need , the only slight downside we’re the steep stairs leading to the bedrooms but we used the sofa bed in the dining room which really wasn’t a problem , there is a nice yard area out the back but it isn’t really child friendly due to the amount of concrete steps , the top garden was our favourite with amazing sea views.
Overall a pleasant property ( even had Netflix for the evenings) The location of Moonfleat is excellent, 15 minutes into Minehead and only 10 minutes into Watchet Harbour.
Stairs to bedrooms very steep , concrete steps in back yard

The View from the top garden was excellent, it was the first time I’ve seen the sun set and sizzle in the sea rather than disappearing behind some hills.
The very steep stairs inside, my father found them difficult, but we managed. The outside steps need white lines painted on the edges as when you come down them they all blend into one colour. It’s not really a complaint, just a tip as the outside steps would hurt if you misstep and fell from top to bottom..

It was a quirky old building, plenty of space with a great view from the back garden towards Watchet beach. On a country lane which leads to a park with nice trails and views for miles.n
There are lots of steep steps so not easy for some people to get around. Parking off road was difficult, under the bedroom in a car port. Not a lot of headroom for larger cars.

Location and facilities were great

Location was perfect, lovely walks from the door and coastal path minutes away by car.
Cottage is very well equipped, excellent kitchen & very comfortable bed.
Only negative comment relates to cleanliness, grubby loosecovers on furniture, dirty window sills, stair rail etc. A little extra cleaning would make such a difference.

Cottage was very roomy, with a lovely terraced garden from where we could watch sunsets over the distant sea.

Lovely cosy cottage, superb location for walking the hills. Not far away from beaches. Great pub nearby, a home from home in these strange times. Our dog enjoyed herself as well.

We recieved lots of helpful info prior to arrival. It is well equipped and has everything you would need or use at home.
The log burner was cosy. It has lots of character, so cosy. It was a lot bigger than we expected.
Parking was a little bit awkward but we managed fine.

Cottage had everything we needed and more. Wireless Wi-Fi was great and we had everything we needed and more in the kitchen...the garden was very nice in spite of rain.
The fact that we were a few weeks ahead of the autumn colors in full!!
Timing was off.
