The employee (Jason) who checked us in was fantastic! He even came out to the parking to help us with our bags.
The room looked, smelled and felt clean!
Jason made wonderful recommendations as to where to eat.

Not a great 4 day stay. Check in was confrontational by owner wanting to charge a 200 damage fee. Room was okay sheets were not ironed and the two pieces of bar soap provide was enough for two of us to lather our faces, it was that small. Although the day time attendant was very nice and helpful the breakfast was woefully underwhelming. I think ownership provides a flop house for foreign Chinese tour groups. Overall not a good hotel for independent travelers.

I want my money back! I called around to try to move to another place, couldnt find one. The bed was falling apart. The floors were filthy! The floors were rough cut cedar and very hard on the feet. The heat did not work. The window had a AC unit in it so all we heard was traffic sounds, very loud. The shower head had no shower head. The TV didnt work had to be replaced. I want my money back!

It was a cozy cabin and clean. For $400/night it was overpriced but then we were in Yellowstone. Breakfast wasn’t desirable.
WiFi wasn’t really working most of the time which we needed.
Smart TV was working well.
Welcome staff and owner were very nice. If the WiFi improves we might consider going again otherwise it’s a deal breaker for us.

The property was clean and had a nice breakfast. The location worked well for our visit to Yellowstone National Park.
Jay was awesome! He always was upbeat and smiling. He was very helpful and accomodating.

Old and crummy, very poor breakfast. NOISY!!!

Stayed in Blue Jay cabin. 2 out of 3 bed covers had stains - one had pink, another one black.
Breakfast was served at 7 and not earlier (in the place committed to support Yellowstone visitors - strange!)
In the morning bathroom was looked and we were not able to open it from the living room. Luckily didn't leave much stuff there, and reception had a restroom.
Both phones (reception and property from expedia) didn't answer from 5-30 to 6-30. No help to open the locked bathroom.
Thanks to the designer, living room had a door out. Next to the electronic ad billboard though, which lighten up the living room for us in the night.
Left a note asking to keep our toothbrushes until we picked them up on a way back (successfully got them back).
Plenty of towels in the cabin though. No shower head (why?)

Excellent stay in Cabin 7. Staff and owner were super friendly. Highly recommend.

Their shower heads are not great. They have no place to hang clothes in bathroom. The place of breakfast can get crowded between 7-7:30am, food choice us also very basic.

Overall property was older and not what I had expected. The surrounding area was a bit sketchy, and we felt a bit unsafe. I was surprised based on the Expedia rating it was given. The room was basic but clean. The a/c unit was not working properly so we did not sleep well. For the cost that we paid, I would not stay here again or would recommend. Our stay here was last minute and wish we I had done a little more research.

Absolutely loved this property! Beautiful view and walkable to everything you need

Note this review is for cabin 7, an old run down house/cabin next to the hotel. It smelled really bad, a strong stench of some chemical and clearly someone recently lived in it so there’s a really random assortment of things in the kitchen. I am not difficult with my accommodations and this would have been fine if someone lent it to me or if it was cheap. However, for peak Yellowstone prices it was too expensive, especially since the wifi only worked (and barely) half of our stay. We did enjoy the spaciousness though and the 1 1/2 bath. Also, the staff at the hotel were super friendly.

We really enjoyed the ease of check-in, the room amenities, and the friendly staff. Jay definitely was a staff stand out. Extremely friendly and helpful! Impressed by the included breakfast. Some of these at hotels are hit or miss. This was definitely a hit. Mix of cold and hot, just not overly elaborate. But, just right for what we needed ahead of our days in Yellowstone. So happy we booked a hotel with breakfast as there didn't seem to be any fast service breakfast places in West Yellowstone, like a Dunkin's or a Starbucks.

The room was specious and fairly clean. The bed was comfortable but too high for average people. Could be hazardous if you wake up in the middle of night and almost fell off when I try to step down to the floor. Internet was OK and little slow. The breakfast was mediocre and very bland. Not great quality. There were no fruits like bananas or apples. Staffs were OK and need to be more professional to customer's needs.

This property appears to be an older hotel that has been renovated. The room has also probably been recently remodeled with the bathroom being the nicest part of the room. The walls are very thin so I could hear the people walking down the hallway and the elevator being used. The smell of cleaning supplies in the room was a bit overwhelming. Overall this is a clean, simple, updated room.

Wagon Wheel is a great option in West Yellowstone. Jay greeted us by name each day of our stay. Breakfast options have good variety, everything is clean, you can walk into the downtown area for shopping and restaurants. Highly recommend Wagon Wheel as a base for exploring Yellowstone!

Nothing fancy, nice people, clean, comfortable bed, reasonable prices.
Weak selection of TV channels but I wasn’t there to watch TV so it wasn’t a problem for me. I would stay here again.

The general overall condition of the hotel was it is tired and a bit run down. The breakfast was pretty meager. The price was high, but all of West Yellowstone is high. The room and bed were comfortable. The room was large. Bathroom was adequate. Location is convenient to Yellowstone Park. It was an adequate one night stay on our way through but we will avoid West Yellowstone in June and summer in the future. High prices and crowds.

Very very dated but clean.

The room was tiny. Air conditioner wouldn’t stay on, no outlets to plug things in, horrible beds, so uncomfortable. We trusted that Expedia would take care of us, but they didn’t. It cost us a lot of money to move to a different hotel.

Close to park entrance and close to dining options. Free breakfast is great prior to a day of exploration in the park. Lobby is nicely updated as was our bathroom. The rest of the room/decor is a little dated, but the beds were extremely comfortable. Area is very quiet as well.
Staff is super friendly, always greeting us with a smile!

Such a sweet little spot! The staff is wonderful and everything is clean and orderly. It's a no fluff place, but had everything we needed! Thanks Jay for being so personable and welcoming. We'd definitely stay again!

In a town where winter sounds are dominated by loud snowmobiles, we loved that this location is off the beaten path so was much more quiet in the late-night and early-morning hours. Very clean and the staff was most accommodating.

The breakfast was good.

This was an ok place to sleep. Staff was a bit difficult to deal with and at one point, they did not have anyone that spoke english available. The place was a little run down, but not dirty or anything.

The room was very nice, comfortable and clean. The lobby was not as nice and was loud.
