Dirty, not recommended.

Warm staff. Central location makes visiting easier, but if i had known Etretat was so small i’d have booked farther out closer to free parking and walked my way to the centre. Parking close to the hotel is with a fee daytime (3€/h)

Gross shower and window, clearly untouched at cleaning times (se pics). In my opinion cleanliness is the basics regardless of hotel class, hence the bad review. The bedsheeta looked clean. We didn’t say anything because reception was closed when we found out in the evening. The building is very old, with dark walls and small sink. If mobility is a concern, this hotel has narrow and cracking spiral staircase with floormat on. Consder staying in the nearby villages like for example Yport.

Perfect location with good price! Better than the reviews!

low expectation because of the review, but actually it was very nice!!! we stayed in the room for : person on the second floor, every thing was clean and new. Perfect location and good price. only the blanket was quite thin, a little bit cold in the night. but I would recommend here to stay in Etretat if your budget is limited!!

Price is a bit too pricey for that kind of room

The location is strategic

- room is not clean, never open the cabinet, they never clean it - bed is not good - wall is full of dust - bathroom not cleaned properly - you can hear anything from the room, even your neighbour - there's no staff if you want to have early check out

The location is really good and the bed was comfortable

They still have bugs in the bed linen as I got bug bites the next day. It's overpriced for such a tiny room and it's not even high season. Breakfast is too expensive (9 €). It's ok for young people but for elderly it might be a problem to get upstairs and especially when you have luggage

I checked in this hotel and I stayed for two nights. In first night bed bugs attacked me and my friend but we weren't sure it was them. We ask to change the bed sheet but the hotel told no as it was changed just yesterday. In evening suddenly I started getting reaction on my whole body. When we get back to hotel there was no one in hotel reception to help us. We search in room and found bed bugs and nest of bed bugs under the bed see the photos I have uploaded. I am badly infected with it and it destroyed my vacation. Because of bed bugs I am not able to go to work for 5 days. Which is huge lost. Next day I complained to hotel reception they weren't not ready to take responsibility. Even though they show photo and stuff still they weren't ready and they disrespected us very badly in french. I don't know what to do I wanna file a complain against hotel.

Etretat is a beautiful beachside resort , but everything closes very early so make the most of it.

Central to town and close to beach, Having a bar and restaurant downstairs

Room very small hot and stuffy therefore uncomfortable night sleep, no air conditioning or fans. breakfast which is not included .

Its a nightmare staying here. Theres a lot of bedbugs. I could’nt sleep .I was awake all night long.. When i went back from diner i saw the bed theres a bug crawling on top of the matress. theres one behind the side ,one crawling on the floor and the other one in the wall. I kept the lights on for the whole night. Imagine how can you sleep on that bed when you know the bed and the room was infested by bed bugs. Even if the hotel is near the beach . the discomfort and inconvenience its totally unbelievable.. THE HOTEL IS REALLY DIRTY.

Really friendly good staff . Very very hot weather so considering that it was a very pleasant stay . We will come back off season .

Efficient, clean, what I needed for a night.

I love the view from my room, you can see a great view of the town + the church as well as the sound of the waves. It was pretty clean and well-equipped/ modern and it was what I needed for my stay given the location and also the beds. The space was perfect for one person. They had complimentary wifi

The staff could be more pleasant, they weren't responsive via my request via booking.com, they had limited English and only let me leave my luggage in the back room of the restaurant unsupervised and so that was a bit worrisome. Also they didn't have an elevator so lugging your baggage up the steps was difficult. And the corridors smelled musty/like smoke. Also the walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors and people at the corridor but everyone was pretty respectful overall. The shower stall could be cleaner.

Disappointing

Good location.

The room especially the bathroom smelled bad and didn’t feel clean enough. There were some flies and after reading other rewiews about bed bugs I felt itchy all night. Staff doesn’t speak english. The entry is through restaurant. And don’t expect anything from the breakfast for 9 euros.

Pleasant

The hotel is well located in the center of Etretat. Nice personal and nice views. The breakfast options are simple but good and enough.

The deco of the room is not very cozy but it's ok for one night. They could put more attention on details. No elevator.

Wouldn't have been so bad if there hadn't been bed bugs!

The breakfast was so-so. Not good enough for the price.

Bed bugs! We itched for a week after staying here! We saw the little bloody bugs in the morning on the sheets! Very noisy outside at night--some a.c. unit or something next door. Broken window and table. Staff wasn't very friendly.

WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE

THE WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE!! I was in honey moon with my husband, we chooser this hotel for the WiFi, because he had to work. The WiFi went down and there was no one there, just in the other restaurant. They did nothing, just: you have to wait. The shower had NO HOT WATER, imagine this on winter The bad was terrible The WROST: I woke up all swollen and itching, with my face disfigured!! It destroyed my travel, I’m still like this, like a monster. Because they don’t clean there and doesn’t do bed bug disinfestation The staff just told me: I’m sorry I had to go to the hospital They destroyed my honey moon

Not a responsible property

Though, the location of the property is very convenient.

We arrived at 22h at night, the whole property was shut. We called the number but there was no picked up, there was no reply from the message. We turned out to walk in to the hotel in front. The second day they relied the message saying the check in time is in the afternoon? Why you didn’t send an email to indicate you have a specific time for your property? Why don’t you call the customer when you are suppose to expect their arrival? We were so disappointed with the customer service, which the hotel doesn’t have at all.

Cleanliness must be improved!

Breakfast was nice. Property very close to the beach.

Hairs in the bathroom when I arrived. Shower was covered with limestone. Only 1/4 toilet paper left when I arrived - no stock in the bathroom... Bed linnen was stained... TV did not work properly. I could hear all the neighbouring rooms.
