Lovely stay, very rustic.
I had hurt myself and requested them to give me a room on the first floor, they were so sweet to accommodate it.

Very old, soft and noisy

Location. Clean linen and towels, comfortable mattress Good stuff.
There was no hot water, the hair dryer, which was at least 100 years old, did not work. There was hair on the toilet bowl, dirty decorative pillows with smudges lay on the made bed.

Location and cleanliness plus staff was good
Everything was fine but internet speed was very slow and got disconnected frequently.
9.0 / 10.0
Very central location in the town - close to seaside, restaurants. Nice restaurant downstairs, very friendly team. Elegant interior. Ideal for short stay - as the bathroom was outside (this is what I booked).
Team doesn’t speak English. I feel kind of the team not tolerant if you not speak French. Check in was in the hotel cross the road. Breakfast: one glass of juice, tea/coffee/chocolate and croissant with jam and yogurt (very simple).

Location
The isolation f the building is very poor.. I couldn’t sleep because of all the noise coming from outside. You can hear people on the next room, hallway, and wha are on the street.

charm
sometimes problem with water (water was cut for a while and hot water came after 5 minutes of pouring water)
8.0 / 10.0
Very old building but clean and comfortable bedroom.
Breakfast is very poor and served unenthusiastically.

Nice room with a comfortable bed.

it was very central and the room was a good size
well, the bathroom door was broken and we had a fire alarm going off for 20 min in the middle of the night, apparently it was someone smoking on the room, but the hotel response was very slow

The room was in a quaint old building and was comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly. Location could not be better.
The cheap car park is quite a long walk from the hotel.

perfect location to restaurants and the beach.
very roomy
the bathroom had mold in the tiles that could
maybe be bleached. and the tea kettle was really gross from water sitting

Nice location, impressive historical building full of character and details to admire, friendly helpful staff, decorations with good taste, quality breakfast. Will definitely come back!
Just miss a kettle for example to make a tea inside room.

The location was great and the building was beautiful
I arrived after a long journey by car, and after walking another 10 minutes from the parking lot, I was in desperate need of a toilet (especially being very pregnant). When I got to the hotel, it said to check in with the attendant at the hotel across the street. When I walked into that lobby, there was no one there. I looked around for a bathroom, none were in sight, so I rung the bell that was labeled "ring if no one here". After a total of 3 rings in a period of 10 minutes, finally, someone (who looked like the manager) came running out annoyed and telling me to stop ringing as she was in the meeting and her colleague is absent. That was her greeting to me instead of hello how can I help you. Then, while signing me in, she asked if I wanted breakfast. At first I said no, then I asked to change that to yes. With an annoyed "ugh" sigh , she changed it. Then she walked me back to the lobby of the other hotel, and pointed me upstairs, saying my room is on the 5th floor. Pregnant, I asked if there is a lift. She responded with amusement that old buildings like this don't have lifts. Forget help, but the lack of empathy and pure annoyance were just shocking. The person who was there the following morning, however, was very kind.
Secondly, and even more seriously, I had carefully inspected my bed sheets before I went to sleep as I am terrified of bringing home bed bugs. The following morning, I woke up with little fresh splatters of blood all over the sheets and what resembled bed bug excrement, something I have unfortunately experienced once before, so knew exactly what I was looking at. Now, while I did not see the actual bugs themselves, having had dealt with experts on the subject, I know that the bloodstains are not from mosquito bites. Anyway, because I do not have 100% proof that these were bed bugs, I am rating the hotel at more than 1 star.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. there's not a more interesting building in town, and the rooms are so cozy and charming. the location couldn't be more perfect, right near the beach, and everyone was super nice. I would stay here again if I came back. Thank you!

Location is just fine, breakfast good and well served.
Staff are amazing!
In general, all are good! Just one thing is just lacking, the light in bathroom entrance so the big mirror there will be appreciated as well.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful historical building.
Location in the heart of the historical part of the town and close to the coast. The Hotel have Excellent staff.
Classic French breakfast. As a Slovak I missed vegetables and bread. But that's not the hotel's fault.

the location is incredible and the building is quite charming.
some staff were a bit inattentive and not happy.
the communal shower is a bit moldy and not so clean
3.0 / 10.0
Location is the only thing that I liked about this hotel. Everything else I disliked.
The bathroom in room 16 smells of drains - I was told by two members of staff that this is caused by the tide! And is a problem everyhwere in Etretat. The two people on reception were rude and complacent. Breakfast is expensive and stingy. The hotel is shabby and needs refurbishment. Hotel itself has no staff, and need to go to hotel opposite for reception and breakfast.

It was very close to the beach and to many good restaurants, while also being close to the bus stop.
It was even within walking distance of Maurice Leblanc's house.
the wifi connection process could have been better and the instructions clearer.

Historic building located very close to the beach.
Bathroom smelled.
