It was near the beach and the room was cosy.
My stay included breakfast but I was told it was not..I had to show my booking confirmation several times. When I did get it, it was very disappointing (a couple if bread rolls, jam and instant coffee). There were also lots of power cuts meaning the fan and wifi would not work and this could last hours. There was not much atmosphere here - it is basically an enclosed space with some lodges and nothing much to do or see.

The host was a really nice man with a freindly smile. The garden had a few nice places to chill out in the shade or the sun.
Moral of this story is don't jump at promotions, I selected to stay here as this property offered a free upgrade for one of the nicer double rooms for the price of a standard one, when I arrived I was put in the single room, this was made of bamboo as opposed to the stone ones across the garden. This room was not just an oven but also a free for all for the mosquitos, you could also here every breath and other bodily movements of the neighbours either side. The breakfast was awkward and basic, he would call you over for breakfast and present you with a mug of hot water and some decaf instant coffee (nothing else) you would be presented with a stale bit of bread and some jam that was definitely laid out for the someone the previous morning, I appreciate the gesture but considering you get 8 of these buns at a bakery for one soles I would of preferred to have not anticipated any breakfast at all. The shower will give you an electric shock. You have to turn on the water, then flick a power switch, if you touch the shower head in any way or try to adjust it will give you an electrulic shock, if you are around 6 foot like and do not crouch to get in the shower you will get an electric shock with your head (I'm not kidding). When I came to pay, the booking total was in dollars so he gave himself a generous commission to convert to soles at this point one can only laugh. There are soo many beautiful places to stay around mancora don't sell yourself out by choosing to stay here.

We had a wonderful stay at AquamarInn. It has a very peaceful, beautiful garden setting, in which we enjoyed reading and chatting. The room was very pretty and clean, with lodge-like decor. The hosts were helpful and had adorable dogs and a baby who didn't make any noise but was adorable to watch in the courtyard. We were very close to Playa del amor (which was our favorite beach, clean with no rocks), and a short walk to the center of town. We would definitely stay here again!!
The breakfast options were a little limited (bread and jam).

The staff are very friendly, it’s owned by a family that want their guest to be comfortable. The kitchen is big with a lot of equipment. It’s very cozy and beautiful with the feeling of being safe.
The water pressure is very low but didn’t affect the trip. The location is a bit always but again did t affect our stay at all. The property is gorgeous it makes up for it.

Relatively cheap accomodation (97 soles) for dates close to New Year's, located in a quiet area and 5-10min walking distance from a quiet beach at the edge of the village of Mancora.
There is a shared kitchen which a pan, pots, cutlery, fridge and freezer.
We couldn't check in at 13.00 because the previous tenants hadn't left the room yet, so we were told we would have to wait. My wife needed to use the toilet during this time, but were told there is no toilet available (although it was already past our check-in time).
Since the previous tenants were taking longer than expected, at 13.20 we were offered a different room than the one we had booked, one that had an external bathroom and it was built using wood and reeds. The one we had originally booked was in a stone building opposite ours which seemed more modern and had a private seating area outside. On the bright side, our new room had a double bed instead of two singles. Unfortunately, the room we were allocated didn't have proper glass windows, but only a mesh and wooden blinds. This means there is no noise insulation and it feels less private because you can hear people who are sat in the garden. We also had some difficulty sleeping because we could hear a lot of wind throughout the night inside the room due to the lack of soundproofing. You can hear people in the bathroom from the bedroom.
The toilet in the external bathroom has a flush with very low water pressure. You have to use it 3-4 times until it disposes of waste properly. We had to keep going back to flush every few minutes.
The shower in the external bathroom has an electric heating system which if you use incorrectly you get a small electric shock. Both myself and my wife received a small shock because we forgot to turn off the electric switch before turning off the water. This feels a bit dangerous to have in a hostel.
We were supposed to pay 24.30USD, which the manager converted to 97 soles. However, when I checked the conversion online shortly after, I found this should have been 92 soles, so we were overcharged by 5 soles. It felt awkward to go back and complain so I didn't.

Nice big clean rooms and really close to the beach. The owners are lovely and friendly. Good sized kitchen with everything you need. It is a 15 minute walk at least to the main strip of restaurants.
there is a code to enter the property, we returned one night and some other guest had locked the door meaning the code didn’t work. Luckily enough another guest was able to let us in otherwise we would have been locked out all night.

Is a great place if you are looking to relax in a quite spot. The hotel is about 250 meters from the beach but is yet close enough to hear the sound of the sea. Everithing is very clean including the shared kitchen.
Downside would be the low WiFi signal.

The staff were super friendly, left us in at 4am after getting off a bus and showed us to our room. Rooms are basic and clean. It is in a quiet area of the town with about 10minute walk to the main street and less than 5 mins to the beach. Two great dogs!

The staff were friendly and the room was spacious and clean with a large private bathroom (+hot shower). The bed was comfy and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. Just a short walk to the beach, cafes and restaurants. Over all great value for money
Water pressure could be better

The space is very nice, home-like. The kitchen has everything you need. Everyone in the staff is fantastic, especially Maria. The rooms are cosy and clean. We already want to come back and we'll tell everyone to come here.

Nice quiet environment, comfy bed.
Photos on booking.com are nicer than the place is in reality. Our first night we got placed in a different and way smaller room than the one we booked without any notice. In our other room there was no warm water.

Staff was kind and welcoming.
The location is very poor. At night it felt extremely unsafe in this part of town. It feels like its situated in an abandoned area.
You could hear the other tenants loudly through the walls.

really nice outside area and clean big room! very friendly hosts !!
charged us more than booking.com said and also charged us to use the kitchen even though they said it was included

I loved how quiet it was and how friendly the staff were. I was especially impressed because the rooms were absolutely clean and affordable! it’s right next to the street where you can get mototaxis to the center.

The facilities and rooms are clean and look new.
there was no water, so no
shower for 24 hours. They also overcharged us for two nights.

owners are super friendly and helpful despite us not speaking a word of Spanish.

Good location, the place looks pretty nice.
There were insects in the room. When we put hot water in the shower, turning the water knob would give me electric chocks.
The hotel manager who did our checkin vas very nice, almost too nice.
The thing is it looked like he was stoned.
My gril and I did not feel safe in that hotel.
Luckily enough (or not) we had a family emergency after our 2nd night so we had to fly back to Lima. The hotel manager gave us 160 soles in compensation for the 3 more nights we couldnt spend at the hotel. Little move from his part but appreciated.
On the first night, I had a drink with a client, the hitel manager and his colleague or wife. The manager was consuming white powder. He was leaking a toothpick with the powder on it.
Speaking with the other british client, he said the place was creepy.
Overall we did not feel safe in that hotel. I would recommend this place ONLY if you had no other choice. If you re a solo traveler, I recommend that if you have no other choice you go somewhere else anyway.
Sorry for the bad feedback, but a hotel manager consuming white powder in front of me does t make me feel secure.

Absolutely amazing place!
The hosts made us feel like at home the whole stay.
Beautiful place, perfect to disconnect and relax.
There is a gorgeous and quiet beach just 5min walking distance.
The room and bathroom were nice and super clean!
Definitely will come back in the future.
Thank you Don Rober and Doña Mary! We hope to see you soon :)

Very relaxed and quiet hostel, in a notoriously loud town. It was great to be able to stay here and escape the noise of the center.
The family that runs the place is very kind and helpful.
The free breakfast is basic but gets the job done (eggs, bread, coffee, juice).
I would stay here again without thinking twice!
There are mosquitos at night- all beds have a net, but make sure you set it up properly before sleeping!

Relaxed. Much quieter than in the centre of town. Nice garden.
The walls were thin.

Staff were friendly, location was convenient, and almost no noise from the clubs, which is very rare for Mancora. Yet it was still walking distance to everything. Right near the beach too. Good place to relax in the sun, the outdoor eating/smoking areas are very comfortable to sit around after the included breakfast. Beers and water are provided by the staff for the standard Mancora price, which was also very convenient.
Mosquitoes filled the room no matter what, I definitely spent most of my time under the net. Shower has 2 modes, boiling or freezing. Had to have them cold
